This is a fairly clean restaurant, the food is ok. The waitress hit on my husband. She asked him to come back alone. We laughed about it, he was embarrassed though. My husband won't go back, so now we have to get take out. I still go there with friends. I thought it was weird but didn't care that much. My husband won't even go in to pick up the food. Golden Teriyaki is the best Chinese restaurant in Pullman. It has its own parking field and many seat with big tables whatever you go with you self or as a big group, you can find your position to park and different size table for you and your friends. but if you haven't a car, it will make you little hard to get there because till now i still don't know any bus route to there and the restaurant isn't in the downtown. i highly recommend foods there even i am a international student from china, usually Chinese foods in American is not as good as in china, but their dishes makes me have the feeling as home, especially their Braised Pork. It isn't in their menu. if you can speak Mandarin or Cantonese, you can let talk with the boss and let them make some special dish not in the list. and if you want try dinner staple food rice. you also should go there and order some rice fitted dishes because they offer free rice as many as you want. besides these, their price is also moderated. for example last time we have 6 ppl and ordered 4 dishes and 2 soup. it just cost 15 bucks for each person. Extremely over-priced. $8.75 for a lunch special. Each lunch special comes with "pork fried rice", which is basically thin slices of pork on top of low-grade rice. Yuck! Came here once because I was having a craving for chicken teriyaki and I was new to town. I ordered it to-go and the food came out shortly. I proceeded home and sat down to eat only to be extremely disappointed. The teriyaki chicken was two small uncut pieces of chard chicken with little teriyaki flavor at all. I felt like I was eating bad BBQ. I won't be eating here again, especially now that there are much better places for teriyaki in town. read more

I loved this place! I'm not rating this restaurant compared to other cities, I'm rating it 5 stars compared to others like it in Moscow and Pullman. It was clean and in good repair. The owners and wait staff are friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and well lit. The food was delicious! They made us a non-menu item (vegetable chow mein) since we're vegetarians. We also ordered egg rolls. The portions were huge and steaming hot. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the noodles had the perfect amount of grease so that you got comfort food but still felt healthy. The food was brought out very quickly. Our server was very attentive, sweet and spoke English well. We will DEFINITELY return. read more

Their food is excellent, so is the service. There is a big menu with lots of selections and combinations, and they have lunch specials for less than $9!! Golden teriyaki is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Pullman, and this restaurant is very close by Dismore market. We can have a perfect lunch or dinner, and we will have a lot of delicious food to choose in this restaurant such as "Ma-po tofu", "Kung Pao Shrimp" and so on. I would like talk about my favorite food is the "Szechuan Pork Spareribs". This dish is very delicious, because the spareribs are very fresh, and the most important thing is the sauce is good, it taste sweet and a little spicy. Every time when I had been enjoyed this dish I will remember my hometown because it taste very similar than my mother made. Also we can have some creamy deserts like ice cream and mousse. Also, this restaurant has a perfect service, every waiter smiles at us when we enter the restaurant, especially they always provide us hot tea, and this makes us fells like we are at home. Finally we just need under $20 for each person in dinner or lunch, it is very suitable for student, and most people can accept this price and enjoy it. read more

If you want the best shrimp fried rice I've ever had the pleasure of eating, and want to enjoy a friendly, stylized atmosphere, you can sit down and eat. Or, you could order takeout and ten minutes later you show up and it's hot and ready to go. Great place to go it you have a group and some of them don't like Chinese food. The Hawaiian chicken sandwich is really good as well as the Chicken Katsu. I pretty much like everything here. I came in thinking just some I would be served some plain bland food. I was proven wrong and my experience was rather enjoyable. I ordered a fish plate with hunan chicken and chow mein. The chow mein tasted like all the others but I found my hunan chicken to be filled with flavor and packed a nice punch of taste in my mouth. The fish plate I got had a different texture than what I expected but I actually enjoyed it a lot and it tasted very fresh. I am from a long ways away from here and stopped during a road trip. If I am ever in town again I will definitely go back. The only thing I would say that needed improvement was that the waiters should know how to speak basic Chinese. Also that the owner of the restaurant not shout at his chefs because I was sitting not that far from the kitchen and I could hear him quite well. read more

Two things 1) on their menu for a dish they don't include a protein (chicken) you expected not going to be in their dish and 2) when ask not to include that protein (chicken) and the waitress expresses that protein (chicken) not to be included to chief and thee chef still puts that protein (chicken) in the dish. DISLIKE and not listening makes this restaurant and their chef lacks the proper communication skills needed to properly run their business. read more

Golden Teriyaki is a nice place to enjoy Chinese food in Pullman. I like it very much. The environment there is wonderful, it's very clean and cozy, it makes me feel like at home. There are lots of seats there, also there is a Chinese traditional table which the shape is rounded. It's suited for a family to have food together. The boss is really nice, when my friends and I go to the restaurant, he always help us order the food with smile and recommend some nice dishes which we may be interested in. The food is really delicious, there are two menus there, one is American menu, it's fit for Americans, the dish in the menu is a little sweet, the other one is for Chinese, you can find some famous Chinese traditional food in this menu, and you can order any dishes of these two menus. I like spicy food, so I always get boiled fish, although it is not like the real boiled fish in China, it still taste good and I prefer this one. Also, I like Sichuan pork ribs, it taste very special and I can't stop eating it. The price is cheaper than other Chinese restaurants in Pullman. On last Friday I was going to the Golden Teriyaki with friends, we all have good time there and we love it very much. We drive the car like 15 min across down town, the restaurant is near the Pizza hut and they have their own parking place it is sweet, we save lot of time to find the parking place. When we go into the restaurant the people worked there all smile to us and set up the seat for us. They also let us to make order quickly; we don't need to wait for a long time. They have special food available every day. On the menu I found a lot of traditional Chinese food on it. But we can't eat all of it so we only ordered the water boil fish, pot sticker, and Mongolia beef the price is not that high. After we are ordered we look around, people eat here looks like happy and I think they are really like to eat here. We wait like no more than 10 min, our food is coming and also it tastes really good. But there is a little different from what I eat in China, maybe they changed it more suitable for Americans. Anyway, my entire friend said they like here and want to come here again. read more

Pullman doesn't have many restaurants but it has good restaurants that you can go to. Golden Teriyaki is one of the best restaurants in Pullman and the food right there is tasty. The waitresses are nice and they ask you if you want anything or if the food is good or if you want special Chinese dishes. They always smile to customers even if customers are being rude to them. They are way better than other waitress in other restaurants. They treat you as a boss. Also, the owner is so kind and he works there and help the waitress out if they need a help. If anyone gets there and see the owner, I assure that he is going to like him because he so nice to everybody. I remember two months ago I told one of my cousins to go with me to Golden Teriyaki, at first he refused but I barely convinced him to go with me so we went there and I told him about the kindness of the owner and how he is so nice to customers but he didn't believe me until he saw the owner and then he believed what I said. However, The atmosphere and the design of the restaurant there is like you are in Asia not in America. Moreover, they have their own parking outside and when you see the place from inside, you feel comfortable because the place is big and way better than other restaurants.
