I had been dealing with toenail problems for a while, and I'm so glad I chose Golden Triangle Foot & Ankle. They checked my insurance ahead of time, and I never had to pay anything at the desk for the procedure because it was fully covered. When I left, I purchased a $45 medicine kit that included pads, tape, and medication -- honestly worth every penny because it saved me from having to hunt around the drugstore for the right supplies. They removed the part of my toenail that was causing all the issues, in for my toe, and the entire process was handled professionally and with great care. Follow‑up appointments were just as smooth. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. What impressed me even more is that the provider didn't stop at the toenail issue -- she listened to my concerns about ankle and foot pain and ordered an X-ray, and then MRI to get real answers. After my cardiologist couldn't find any blockage or circulation problems, it was a relief to finally have someone take the next step. I feel as though I may at last have found a solution. The doctor and nurse were amazing. My complaint is that when I called to make an appointment the staff never once told me of the $250.00 they charge you up front for a "first appointment " fee. I know most of the people in the lobby were older than me and on fixed incomes and they are charging this outrageous fee because according to the billing clerk " most people don't even bother to check out so we bill up front." As I informed her it should be your front office staff to get them to stop. If they do not stop and pay their bill that is what collections are for. They billed me for X-rays that were never taken just in case I needed them. Horrible experience. read more
