Awful dealer, do your self a favor and avoid them at all costs. I purchased a 2026 Shasta model. In the first month alone had to have 3 service calls, 2 for plumbing for washer and dryer not being done right, and 1 for control board for a/c. Forest River products are junk, look at reviews on Facebook for them....horrible. Well for the a/c I had to have manufacture repair it because GTHOMESRV, are crap. I also had to pay 125.00 service fee for them to come look at the thing, which I am still fighting with them to give me back my money as it was only like a said not even a month old and all this happens. First day they tell you you've been approved for an RV. Second day it's not the RV you want. They lie and say you have to settle for something you don't want. When you stand up and tell them no. We were in Crystal Beach for the weekend and when we got ready to come home our slides didn't work. We called several places and this is the only company that could come to us. They said they'd be there first thing Tuesday morning and they were. Diagnosed the issue and had to manually bring in our slides. The gentlemen that came were courteous and efficient. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend them for any travel trailer issues. read more

We purchased our rv in June 2021. My concern was Golden Triangle being 60 miles away from we would be getting the rv up at. i was assured several times the would not be an issue. Before we left the lot the front lights we not working, and they had to order them. When the light strip finally came in, we received a call that they would come out to install for $95 service call or we come pick up and install ourselves. This was on them why would I pay a service call. So after arguing they waived the charge. Had a couple more issues and ended up having to have another company come out to repair because NOW they state that we are too far away to arrive rv!! Wish I had read reviews before we purchased from them! The service manger and a joke and very rude!! Very expensive lesson learned!!! read more

Aweful customer service. Buyer beware. I personally have had problems wirh this business. I bought a 2018 rv from them and the hot water heater didn't work on electricity and it took 3 months to finally get it fixed. It was a broken wire that was broken when it was installed. They was supposed to check it out completely at the time I purchased it. I guess that didn't happen. A friend of mine bought a rv from them and one of the slides started leaking and she was told the warranty didn't cover it that it was a maintenance issue. This rv isn't but 6 months old and cost over 30,000 dollar's. You would think they could have sent someone to at least look at it. Save yourself some hassle and buy elsewhere. read more

We were assisted by Lauren who couldnt have been more patient with us. First time buyers for a trailer, and very cautious . She was knowledgeable and informed us of all the options and construction types. She then walked us through almost every travel trailer on the lot while we tried to ensure what we were looking for in a travel trailer in options and construction. After she understood what we both would be happy with, She stayed in touch with us for 2 weeks as we took time to discuss and look at what she had coming into the lot. There was never any pressure to buy. We settled on a new travel trailer that will offer the space, design and options we need and the construction that we thought was important to ensure long term use. Right into the finance office which was a pleasant experience. Gave him the info he needed for under writing and we are excited about walking out with a travel trailer to bring to the lake fishing and to travel with. Very exciting so far. If I could rate them a -10, I would!!! I left this place mad as hell and forgot my credit information there and when I went back to retrieve it, I was told to "get it from where I got it from"!!! It is my legal right to ask for my financial information returned to me and the sales manager told me to "call the law" that he wasn't going to return my information to me!!! So I decided to do something better than the law...which is word of mouth!!! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE!!!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED!!! (my husband and I had to walk ourselves around and no one came out to help us, we had to find someone) First red flag!!! I had to do all the legwork and ask all of the right questions and it was like pulling teeth to get an answer from anyone!! They seemed too busy for us and wanted way too much private financial information and asked for personal references with names, phone numbers and ADDRESSES???!!!!! It seemed as if they were interested in getting my friends and family's personal information and finding out about the names of my private investors!!! THE SALES MANAGER HAS A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE TOWARDS HIS JOB AND HIS CUSTOMERS AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS!!! Don't trust sales they will lie to you just like I really believe sales lady she told me the refrigerator leaked so they fixed it and replace floor really the whole thing leaked which was my fault I should have checked it out more so don't rely on salesman to tell you the truth go check yourself lesson learned by me I paid 10.000 dollars for a pile of junk then soon as I got it home the heater did not work so I paid a 100 dollars to there maintenance guy to fix and he never fixed it so please don't put your trust in no one at golden Triangle rv in Vidor check it out yourself real good read more

8 March 2017 A brand new camper set up by them and it rolled off because the jacks twisted, awful product but the attitude was worse (smug, smug, smug). Hot water heater never worked, heater never worked, oven never worked. When I ordered it they said 2 weeks and then another and another until it was down to 3 !/2 months. I checked with my Daughter who worked at that factory and she found that it was never ordered to begin with. I had already sold my motorhome so now I was living in my van waiting for my new RV. (smug I tell you) I finally accepted the one on the lot. No home (or any other product) is perfect but you expect reasonable solutions to issues that come up. 2 1/2 years later and I know they made a complete fool of me ..... they suggested that it might be best to have my husband help me to make choices next time. grrrrrrrrrrr, I am single and what did that have to do with the problems here. Still no working oven, I changed to the jacks out (to their specs) and they twisted also. This is just one of the many such cases that I personally know. Just smug like they know that they just sucker-punched you in the face and pretend it did not happen that way. I am rolling on the downside of the loan on my camper and ready for a new one ...... but it won't come from these smug little people. read more
