Owner Ted and technician Joseph were very helpful. After looking over my a/c unit in my bedroom and giving me information on fixing it I decided to upgrade. They offered to install a thermostat and asked where I wanted. I asked if they could install it so I can change the temperature in bed and they did. I am so excited I don't have to get up to change the thermostat when I have hot flashes hahaha The unit they use is a GE that's worth every penny. I turned off my a/c in my living room and put a fan in the floor be my bedroom door to see if it would cool the entire camper and it does. It lets you use hi fan or low fan too on auto. I asked if they could inspect my roof while Joseph was up there. He did and luckily I only had a tiny spot that needed attention that he took care of. Definitely will let others know about them and already have them coming to do another job on another day. read more

While camping at Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, TX we found ourselves stranded when our coach would not start. Ted Williams and his assistant, Joe, responded to our distress call within the hour. They quickly discovered our problem was our starter and went the extra mile to find a replacement for our older motor home, as ours was no longer produced. They ordered and had a new one shipped in overnight, were there the next morning. Braving a driving rain storm, they were able to replace the part and we were on our way again within 30 minutes at very reasonable price for an RV. What a great job from two true professionals. pulled the RV out of storage to get ready for a camping trip when I plugged it in to run a/c during packing it the a/c wouldn't come on. New it was going to be big bucks to replace the a/c and was worried about the time we were planing on leaving the next Morning. Called New World and was shocked they said they be there the same day. They came out looked everything over and then informed me that I didn't need a new a/c only a fan motor. Got us running in a very short time and for a lot less than I though it would be. My RV is new and so am I as an owner. I had a problem with my water heater on a weekend. They made a visit, diagnosed the problem and corrected it immediately! I had a 2nd issue with my 30A plug getting burnt up (no power) at 9:00 at night. We were traveling on our way to Houston when our slide out would not come in, the owners of the camp ground recommend New World. We called and they told us what time we could expect them, they were very punctual. A part had to ordered, he explained every aspect of what was wrong and how to fix it. Last month we discovered a leak in our rv. Gave New World RV a call and the fellow said they had work in the area but would still stop by. Turns out to be a plug that was installed after the original owner had the water pump removed. New World RV replaced the defective plug and we were back in business for our trip to Arkansas. Was passing through Beaumont and my slide out was crooked and would not move. The park told me to call new world and they came out very fast. Someone else told us the motor was bad but new world came out that day and it was just a bolt that was sheared. They had us on the road in minutes!! Highly recommend these people. read more

It's 16 degrees and the generator in my motorhome won't start. I called New World RV in Vidor, Tx and talked to Ted. He explained that holding the start switch in off would turn on the engine heater.
