I barely get color from level 1 beds at the 66th street location but my tan from the uptown location looks like I have a platinum membership. The stand up bed (room 13 ) is my ish. I always arrive about 20-30 minutes before close and the front desk clerks never change their friendly attitudes even though they probably would like to deny my session and close up the store. Front desk clerk Amber is the tits, I always leave there happier then I was arriving because of her, she has a lovely personality and exemplifies outstanding customer service. She always is hooking me up with samplers of lotions and doesn't push me to buy it after the fact. Definitely love this location and it's convenient adjacent parking lot as well, which makes parking a breeze even though it's in busy uptown. Also in regards to covid19 precaution methods; the employees all wear masks at all times, they have a nice sealed plastic barrier in between customers and the front desk person. Being a native from Florida and now a Minnesota transplant, I needed to ensure I got my dose of…read morerays during the winter months so looked around and landed on this place. Totally Tan is simple, clean and provides a lot of different package options for the tanning enthusiast and for me, on a as-needed basis. Option 1: You can pay for a certain amount of points that will allow you to pick from a selection of beds (eg. A level 3 bed for 1 point, level 4 bed for 2 points, etc). Option 2: Pay a one-time activation fee of $49.99 for a monthly subscription of varying levels. I did the math: At $35 for the most basic subscription of unlimited Level 3 tans, at one tan per week for two months, that comes out to $15/tan. I went with Option 1 so I paid $164 for 20 points.. since I'll be using a Level 3 bed, that comes out to $8.20 per tan and I get to go whenever I want. Option 2 is only worth it if you're going at least 2x a week. Each booth comes with a standard towel, eye protection, and a plastic neck rest. Wish they had a full length mirror in each room (they're inexpensive and would add value) but you'll have to settle for a small face mirror that's not really a mirror. Overall, good value if the math works out in your favor!

Jan 11 2026 I purchased what I thought to be 30 days of tanning and spa services (all access package) The nice ladies who work at the store told me if I did not want go beyond the 30 days of services I would need to cancel before Jan 19th which I did. When I went to tan Feb 2nd I was denied access I was told to contact customer service. When I did my call was answered by the worst customer service representative I have ever delt with. I asked why I was being cut off after just 21 days. I was told their billing starts over on the 1st of the month. Okay fine but you are denying 10 days of which I already paid for. This person did not care or seem to understand the concept of theft. Her attitude was to bad so sad. Lesson learned. I will be loud in telling people to stay away from Totally tan and spa.
