There were only a few occupied chairs while we were there and we tried to stay out of the way. The woman who cut my husband hair was not pleasant and seemed annoyed that any of us were there including my husband, the customer. Which, ok fine, understandable you don't want a crowd watching you work, but then say that. Tell us to wait in the lobby whatever. I asked if they did kids hair, they do. Which made it very strange that they don't like Kids. Aside from all of that - I could have done the same cut at home. My husband had in fact been cutting his hair at home. He was opening to getting a big change and stated that to her and asked her opinion on what would work. She said it's up to him, no direction, no suggestion. When she was done she acted like she was pissed to have had a customer. Again I get it you had spectators not a normal request, but are you getting paid? Is there no customer service? My haircut at a women's salon comes with a head massage, wash, blow dry, tea, water, consultation on the cut, friendly service and takes 5 times as long and costs the same... Husband agreed it was awkward and not a good experience with zero consult on the cut. Won't be back for men's or kid's cut. Update because I just read what is included in their Men's Haircut service. She did not do any of it, other than cut. She did not even style it when she was done, and he has long hair.

The fade was completely botched, cut all the way down to the skin in random spots in the middle of my head, leaving my hair looking patchy, uneven, and honestly embarrassing. When I reached out to the manager, I did get a refund -- but not even a real apology. No accountability, no concern, no offer to fix it. The response I got was a cold, dismissive: "Sorry you didn't like your haircut." Not sorry we ruined your hair -- just a passive-aggressive brush-off. Don't do it!!

I find it humorous to read some of the negative reviews on yelp (one guy had to wait five minutes after walking in the door with no appointment and gave one star, another review the stylist got sick and had to cancel the appointment before it started and some guy gave that one star). That is just pathetic, waiting five minutes is the worst thing that could happen, the worst possible rating??? smh. Honestly, I have nothing I could come up with negative about this place. If I was super picky I'd say maybe the parking lot gets a little full during lunch rush sometimes, but it just means it takes 45 seconds to find a spot and that is if I'm being super picky. It's sad to me that a business like this that consistently goes above and beyond and does a great job isn't rated higher. So, I set out to get a haircut with Rachel -- which is easy to request via checking in on their app. Rachel was great to work with and produced an outstanding haircut for me. My wife was really impressed with the look of the cut. She was friendly, outgoing, and worked efficiently and skillfully. I opted for the MVP experience, which was a nice luxury that is not too expensive. It's nice to have their app -- getting on the wait list in advance, AND being able to select which stylist you prefer. I was able to walk in and get seated with Rachel almost immediately. I know I could save a few bucks by visiting Great Clips, but overall I think I'll take the security of knowing Rachel will produce a great look for me.
