My husband is usually in the water with her and there's a lounge for me to hang out in and watch through the glass. They keep the shower/changing area clean and there's plenty of room to accommodate all of the kids that tend to end class around the same time. We pay a monthly fee and are able to schedule make-up lessons if we can't attend on our regular day. So far the staff has been gracious and helpful. Most concerning was the discrepancy between the "progress app" and the staff's assessments. Despite the app showing our kids had met the necessary benchmarks, management repeatedly insisted they "needed more time" on basic skills. This created a stagnant loop that felt more about extending tuition cycles. Policies & Make-up Classes The handling of make-up classes was the final straw. While the facility initially promises flexibility with make-ups to secure your enrollment, they make it nearly impossible to actually schedule them. When we attempted to utilize our accrued credits, we were met with resistance and instead pressured to pay for additional private lessons. It is truly a shame to see a place with such potential treat long-term clients this way. We are excited to move to a new location where we hope our children will finally receive the instruction and respect they deserve. I'm a big supporter of family owned businesses and the more intimate environment and ease of scheduling and shifting time slots when necessary speaks very highly of how well run Clownfish is and how the owners take pride in what they do. Coach rod has been patient, kind and pushed him where he could. His progress has been noticeable but more than anything my son just loves coach rod. On the way home after lessons recently he said, "I love coach rod, he always makes sure I'm safe and that I feel safe.
