For my daughter, we went with Little Kickers which was more expensive but much more effective and therefore valuable. We've had a variety of instructors over the year's including the famous Annie. We're currently with Becka who totally vibes with our daughter and is the kind of person just meant to teach swim lessons to little kids. Our daughter is now 5 and is completely water safe and working toward mastering her four strokes. Effective!

Coach rod has been patient, kind and pushed him where he could. His progress has been noticeable but more than anything my son just loves coach rod. On the way home after lessons recently he said, "I love coach rod, he always makes sure I'm safe and that I feel safe. Do you think coach rod loves me?" - we've tried all the lessons from Virginia vale to central denver and swimming simply takes the cake! All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. In just five consecutive days, my kids made more progress than they've made in years! My son went from plugging his nose just to go underwater to gliding confidently and even jumping off the diving board -- no floaties and no nose plugging! My daughter Olivia mastered gliding and incorporated arms for the freestyle. It was amazing to watch. Ms. Carol is incredibly encouraging and skilled. She teaches out of her own heated pool, and her approach is direct and effective. She's the best swim teacher around. If you want real progress and a positive experience for your child, give her one two-week session -- they will swim! This was a summer bucket list win!

My daughter had taken a few other swim lessons elsewhere so she was very comfortable in the water and going under. I think this was a large contributing factor to our swim success as Ms Carole did not need to spend that time trying to get her comfortable with going under - and we could focus more on honing her skillset. One call out for new parents is that we are asked to leave the lesson. I hung out in the driveway and could still hear everything during the lesson. My recommendation would be if you have a child who is always looking to you for direction - its best to leave so they can focus on what Ms Carole is saying instead. You can always check out the last 5 minutes of the lesson - but I found it helpful to remove myself from distractions. We were really pleased with the progress we made over the summer and my 4 y/o daughter can successfully jump in the water and make it back to the edge from the deep-end.

You have to pay additional to get one on one Pilates training or group Pilates classes. There's no incentive to have a membership and pay for Pilates. $80+ a month membership plus anywhere from $75-$90 per session to train with a Pilates instructor one on one. Talked to the manager about it and they're just focused on personal training. Found another option to work 1:1 with a Pilates instructor so cancelling gym membership all together. The population of the gym is older and these members could benefit from easier access to Pilates training. It is such a beneficial exercise routine for functional fitness. Other thing: Women's hot tub is often inoperable.

Complaints from members not being able to use hot tub (when it works) because of kids playing in it, pushing the jet buttons, leary of urine contamination. Showers can be messy. Parking spaces devoted to families that sit empty 95% of the time. Seems to be lacking leadership.

Shares a lot with the golf course. -Pool- it's big. Heated. Has a lap lane. They get the kids out once in a while for adults only swimming. 3 star rating is because someone defecated in the pool. At least the lifeguards caught it quickly and shut it all down. They said it would be closed for at least one hour as they shocked the water. I did not want to go back in an hour, sorry. To be fair, this probably happens at many public pools.

And My youngest's fear of the deep end was overcome after one week. She even felt confident to jump off the standard diving board by the end of her 2 week session. The facility is clean and lots of grassy shaded area under trees. There are also umbrella picnic tables and 2 tables under a patio. Great neighborhood pool and outdoor summer swim lessons.
