He is extremely intelligent, you can tell that when he took on this education that he did it to help people from the depth of his heart. I have had surgeries from other doctors who were not able to get my shoulders secure. The surgeries done by other Dr's would still fall out of joint very easily. Dr. Arroyo was very thorough with explaining the different kind of surgeries that he was going to do on each shoulder. One was done 4 years ago and hasn't fallen out of socket I feel very secure with it. The other one he completed one year ago and I only had 75% of that bone left but he was able to take a tendon from another part of my shoulder and secure that portion of the bone that was missing from that tendon. I never thought that I could use my arms again without considering the possibilities of them falling out of socket. I am sincerely grateful for a doctor that is so caring of his patients. With this particular surgery he did only two doctors in Washington state are able to perform them. When I was in between surgeries my insurance had changed and the doctor's office didn't accept the insurance that I had. I sent Dr. Arroyo a message directly to see if there was anything that he could do because he was the on of the only doctor's that could perform this surgery. He told me since I was a previous patient that he would be able to work with the insurance company and the doctor's office to get the office to be able to accept my insurance. It was hard for me to say goodbye to him, he truly changed my life.

I was referred to him by my…read morefiancé and have never had to look for another Dr. Dr. Nguyen is understanding, compassionate and totally on top of his game. His office hours are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Most of all, this is a physician who listens and is not "mechanical." If you are looking for a fantastic physician to take care of you and your family, you will be hard pressed to get anyone as knowledgeable as Dr. Nguyen.

Only 4-Stars due to the staff being somewhat "pushy" with regards to selling us (wife & I) new glasses. We went in explaining we are retirees on Medicare with Aetna Insurance (supplemental). One of the staff members checked our medical coverage and immediately said we needed to pay $39.00 each for the exams. My wife explained that we shouldn't be charged due to our age and we are diabetic (this exam being our annual check-up), and we've never been charged before. She then checked again and came back and said, "Oh, your exams are free". I understand that LensCrafters is in the business to make money, but being retired and on fixed incomes we cannot afford $400+ for glasses (each). The person assisting us was somewhat reluctant to give us our prescriptions, but my wife was persistent and we obtained copies of our prescriptions. Nice selection of frames with high-class names (Ray Ban, Stetson, etc.), but when you add up the costs of new frames ($188-$200+) and lenses, they quickly become cost prohibitive. As stated in the begging of this review, Dr. Pham was knowledgeable and great to talk with. We'll more than likely be back next year for our annual exams.

My husband and I found Dr Raisis to be very friendly, respectful and great bedside manner. I am very, very picky about who my doctors are, and I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr Raisis. In the recovery room I heard staff talking about him, and they had nothing but good things to say about him. In my book, if medical staff speaks highly of a doctor, that is who I'm going too see! Dr Pritchett made a good choice!! Two wonderful doctors, and this morning, I'm sore but no real pain!! I was told to expect lots of pain post op...doesn't seem to be happening! And I credited those two doctors and the great staff at Swedish Ortho Insitiute!!

Dr. Raisis in particular was completely disinterested in my case; he was never receptive to anecdotes that would help explain my symptoms (in fact, he outright said he had never seen my particular issue in his career, when in fact it is a fairly common issue and relatively easy to see on diagnostic images, according to information I've gathered and surgeons I've met in the meantime). For a few years I defended him, saying that while his bedside manner was terrible, he was a good "mechanic." That changed when I was diagnosed and treated for a rare infection that Dr. Raisis had neglected to warn me was a possibility of the last surgery he had done on me. In fact, Dr. Steege had seen me while I was trying to get a diagnosis, and he correctly guessed what was wrong but dismissed me saying that couldn't be the case. By the time my infection was diagnosed, there was an imminent threat of kidney failure (yes, stemming from a neuro issue!). I would not recommend Dr. Raisis or his colleague Dr. Steege. Terrible customer service, and negligent doctors with little interest in cases they do not find compelling.

He writes all instructions down he gives you and a brief summary of your visit. It's always hard to make an appointment here and the staff there has no customer service skills. The ladies working the phones there remind me of indifferent and rude post communist era customer service workers from my childhood. Don't try to call between noon and 1pm when it's most convenient to call as you are on your lunch break, because they are shut down for their lunch break. I had a good first visit here with the doctor I picked as my 'primary provider'. She seemed to really care, was through and had good intentions. She asserted that she will always make time to see me when I was having symptoms as this was the only way to make diagnosis and take samples. As you might guessed soon I wanted to take her up on the offer and wrote her an email she said that this could wait (which meant another 2,3 weeks after and having to make appointment through sweeties on their call lines). I had to also pick another doctor as she was booked for 3 months out. When I made it to the appointment with the new female doctor she wasn't able to diagnose me as my symptoms were not there at the moment. She recommended to request the appointment when I am having symptoms. So here we go again... Also their nurses are the type that think that they can lie to you about something and think that you are dumb enough to believe them. In my case that was about an orthopedic brace. The doctor said that they had some and that it was covered by my insurance, but the nurse couldn't find one, and just wanted to get rid of me, so she made up a story of how the ones that they have would cost me more than the ones you get at the pharmacy. Never, never again for me. Family/ Primary doctors recommendations welcomed!

This is the "low-income" clinic, and I'm in the residence program, which means I get doctors who are still learning. This is awesome because they are totally willing to go outside the box to find treatment for things that other doctors will just give a pill. The best part is they have to double-check with an attending whenever they offer treatment, so it's like you are getting an instant second opinion. I am so happy I have this clinic as a provider, the providers and office staff are so very friendly. One thing to be aware of, you sometimes have to wait a while for them to answer the phone when you are trying to make an appointment, but it is always worth it!
