During that time I had to look for medical care elsewhere and discovered Pacific Medical. My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.

Last time I was there a man came in with chest pains and they told him to go to the ER without even checking him. The patient could barely walk. Care has gone down hill for a while and the staff is the worst.

They are rude & lack any sort of customer service skills. I don't understand why they have such a difficult time hiring good office staff when there are so many people with great customer service skills out there.

And, now I realize how spoiled I was having him as my doctor. Which is why they recieved two stars. Otherwise, it would be ZERO! When he retired I was so bummed. But, because they had all my medical history, I decided to stay. Each time a little more disappointed but yesterday was the last straw. I don't mind if the doctor knows who wrote this review because they do not deserve to practice medicine... Period! This week was very troublesome for me. I had hives covering my whole body off and on this week which sent me into the hospital. My eyes were nearly swollen shut and I was having symptoms of anafalaxis. I went to check up with my normal doctors office as advised and it was JUST ridiculous! Though, most of my hives had subsided upon arrival I was still feeling very sick and having some odd symptoms I had not experienced before. My apt was at 4:30. The last appointment of the day. The whole time the doctor and nurse were rushed. They kept looking at the time on the computer acting anxious to leave. I understand, it's Halloween but this is also my health. I had to TELL the doctor what tests I'd like to get done and some the hospital suggested. He didn't act a bit concerned or really care as long as he could get out of there ASAP. I left feeling really upset. No one wants to feel as though there health is neglected. Its sad to say after 24 years I will be going somewhere else. If you have no compassion for your patients, seek a new career!

The doctor was running about 45 minutes late. Then we were sent to an eye specialist. I was never told in my initial conversations with their staff that we would be getting sent somewhere else. We paid for the doctor to tell us to go somewhere else. When I called their office to ask for a refund they told me that we had to pay because the doctor thought it was in our best interest to go see a specialist. Ridiculous! I would not refer his office to anyone! That is very bad business practice!

I finally gave up and lived with it as best I could until this last year when the pain became debilitating. My boyfriend suggested Dr. Sanchez saying that he was a good doctor who will sit and talk to you, which we all know is very rare these days. My appointment lasted over an hour with an examination and a lot of talking. He said that he didn't agree with with my past doctors and sent me in for an MRI. Turns out that had any of the other doctors really stopped and talked to me, put down their checklist of insurance preferred conditions, and treated me like the pain wasn't all in my head, they'd have discovered that I have a serious spine condition which has caused a lengthy list of secondary issues (the issues that the previous doctors couldn't make sense of). So I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sanchez to anyone who needs a good doctor. Sometimes you have to wait a long time which I know is frustrating, but then I think about how much he really does for you in those appointments and I understand why it's taking a while longer for him to get to me.

If she is not able to directly address a medical treatment, she immediately forwards my information to the appropriate person and I always receive a referral in a timely manner. Dr. Orincea always greets me with a smile, and genuinely seems happy to see me when I make an office visit. That speaks volumes considering her job involves listening to patients complain about pain and medical issues all day long. To have a Dr. that by the end of her shift is still smiling, always means the world to me. Additionally, her staff always treats me with kindness and respect, while also having wonderful bedside manner as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Orincea to anyone needing a kind, and caring physician who is very professional, and thorough.

This was said before she even performed an examination of my son. I left the appointment feeling as though I had paid for a consultation that provided no meaningful evaluation, guidance, or plan of care. Based on my experience, Orencia came across as inexperienced and lacked the confidence or expertise to address our concerns. I later contacted the CHI Business Office to dispute the bill. The review process took more than five months. At the end of that process, I was informed that the final decision rested with the provider or their office--not with an independent third party. Unsurprisingly, they upheld the charge. Overall, the entire experience--from the appointment itself to the billing dispute--was disappointing and felt like a complete waste of both my time and money.
