I informed her I would pay the 2.9% fee times 2. When that wasn't enough, I suggested $200 in addition to my $100 consultation fee. Then she asked me if I work for free and if I treat my students the way I speak to her. I was appalled and wanted to cry. I told her I couldn't afford the surgery because I needed this money to send my kids to summer camp. She also told me I was nobody to them - not a friend nor family to anyone in the office. She was truly heartless, bordering on abusive. I repeatedly told her that I never signed anything, but I was still willing to pay the credit card fee. She kept saying, "You didn't sign the 25k invoice because you took it with you." Was I supposed to decide on the procedure the same day as my consultation? She constantly spoke over me, and when I finally told her I was going to dispute the charge and warn others online, she hung up on me. This woman is truly malicious, tried every sleazy sales tactic, and should not be allowed to interface with clients. My warning is to anyone who has to deal with the financial side of this office - not the doctors, assistants, or receptionists.
