Instead of brining me back to the office, examining me and taking it out immediately he prescribed pain medication and steroids. He eventually had his associate look at me, the associate did not even look inside my mouth, he only took an X Ray which does not show problems with soft tissue only the bone. I was just sent home to go through more pain. When I kept complaining about pain Dr. Bilski texted me that Oxi can in some rare cases cause to feel more pain and that swelling is one thing the doctor really cannot control. It never occurred to him that I might have an abscess/infection. After days of pure agony Dr. Bilski called me and said, maybe you have a blood clot. I rushed to the ER, where I was immediately diagnosed with an aggressive abscess. Drs at the hospital administered morphine, but it didn't work. Once I was admitted and placed in a room, i was prescribed delaudid pain med, which is so strong that it is often prescribed to people on their death bed. Followed months of infection recovery and trying to save that implant. It of course failed. According to dental expert that I hired this incompetent man picked the wrong sized implant which was too big for my face and it broke into my nasal cavity possibly releasing the bacteria. When I touched the bottom of the inside of my nose I could feel the bone protruding in the area of the implant. Even now I can still feel the crack in that area of my nose. Dr. Bilski also failed to prescribe me antibiotics, prior or post surgery, only after I asked him myself if I should be on antibiotics only then he called in for a prescription but that was just too late to stop the abscess. He is a butcher. DO NOT go to him for any surgical procedure. Go to an ORAL SURGEON. I wish I knew about them, it would have saved me years of pain and suffering. I received horrible service from this guy and no after care at all. STAY AWAY.

I made several visits to my dentist through the years and a few to my PCP, no one could help me! In January, I developed a bump behind my molars so I decided to try the dentist again. After a visit to another dentist who referred me to an oral surgeon, I was told I had a cyst and an impacted wisdom tooth close to the jaw bone. It needed to be taken care of asap but another surgeon would need to do it. After an ordeal with finding an oral surgeon, an appointment with Dr.Krajekien was made. I was so defeated by the time I walked into his office and figured it would be the same old same old. He assured me that we were going to resolve this. He was so kind and compassionate and understanding. I told him what was happening and he told me about the VR that he uses in surgery that would show him exactly what was happening in my mouth. After dealing with this for so long and now adding the cyst to the problem and listening to Dr. Krajekien, I knew VR would be my best option. It would show the most accurate analysis of what was causing the tongue issue and help determine the best way to eliminate the cyst and hopefully the intense tingling. After surgery my jaw was still intact, my cyst and wisdom tooth gone and I felt no pain. The surgery went quickly and smoothly I believe due to the VR aspect in preparing for my surgery. In the days after surgery I was able to contact Dr.Krajekian with any questions or concerns. I am on day 7 of my recovery and have had very little pain and no tingling tongue!!! When Dr. Roger Hess entered the room, instead of focusing on the appointment, he began offering explanations for his late arrival. I made it clear that the excuses were not my concern and that I wanted to move forward with the appointment professionally. What immediately stood out to me was that while I was addressing the situation, he was smiling and laughing, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional given the circumstances. Shortly after that, it became obvious he had not reviewed my referral and did not even know why I was there. At one point, he commented that he would need to read through the 10-page VA referral during the appointment itself, which confirmed he was completely unprepared. As both a veteran and a counselor, I understand healthcare offices can run behind at times. However, being over an hour late, unprepared, and unfamiliar with the reason for the visit is not acceptable--especially after a patient drives a significant distance for care. Dr. Picard and his extremely helpful staff made me feel at ease and explained things in detail so I could make the best decisions about my care. I ended up going with just a local anesthesia and it was more than fine. They did everything you'd expect from an oral surgeon's office, sending me home with a bag of gauze, instructions, when to call, etc as well as a new soft toothbrush. The receptionist even called me a few hours after I got home just to see how I was holding up. Classy and appreciated! Had I wanted it done sooner, they actually had an appointment opening within a week as well. Day of the procedure everything went fine. Everyone was really nice and since I didn't have to be put to sleep, the doctor and his two surgical assistants communicated to me throughout the duration of the procedure as to what was going on. I was sent home with a soft toothbrush, Sockit gel wound dressing and clear instructions on icing, care, etc. I was also given a pain prescription, but ended up not needing it. Afterwards I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called when I was experiencing after surgery pain. Everyone in the office was really nice and friendly and genuinely seemed caring and concerned about how I felt. I never felt rushed or an inconvenience. The two surgical assistants were super friendly and approachable and were willing to answer lots of questions. They were both genuine conversationalists which worked wonders for getting your mind off why you were there. Dr Picard himself was very personable and willing to answer any questions as well. He came off as very knowledgeable and confident which made trusting him to do what was needed easy. If I ever have any oral concerns in the future, I will definitely keep this friendly practice in mind.
