I reached out to Jennifer at Highway 65 Vacation rentals about cancelling & her response is below. This is a most unfortunate situation, but everyone that I know that has had to cancel flights, car rentals & vacation rentals, whether it was through VRBO or Airbnb had no problems with their cancellations. I had explained that we are not choosing to cancel, we are restricted from doing so. There is no possible way to get all my family to rebook for another date & it also defeats the surprise party for my Dad. I am shocked that Highway 65 vacation rentals have no compassion about this situation. I know there are others out there that are having the same problems with this company & I urge you to write a review! People need to know that there are better options for rentals out there. The email you received from VRBO was a generic email about the COVID-19 that went out to anyone that booked through VRBO. This property has a no cancellation/refund policy. So we are rebooking all reservations that are affected with the COVID-19 travel ban at this time. So you will have a credit to rebook your dates we are not canceling any bookings with this property.
