They did a lithium battery upgrade for $5K and replaced the screen for $1K, it died again. BUYERS BEWARE! I'm so livid! I bought a Maverick D5 just seven months ago and it already died with two errors showing up. I called and they said the warranty doesn't cover labor ($149 and hour) or pickup and delivery ($175) , which was NOT explained when purchasing. Anyway, we scheduled to have it picked up Thursday for repairs and a service guy just called us saying that it must be rescheduled and to not bother trying to take it ourselves because they are so backed up that they won't be able to even look at it for a bout 4 weeks!!! Then he went on to tell us how long it will be to get parts with Evolution after diagnostics and so forth! I explained again that I use this car for my job and this is a VERY busy time of the year for me and I need to have this fixed asap! The service guy just basically said "sorry nothing I can do". The salesman Mike basically brushed me off when I approached him this week telling me to call Ali "she's in charge". TERRIBLE customer service and from what I've seen in other reviews, I'm not the only one going through something like this with them. In fact, I now know that other dealers do cover the labor and delivery so I guess golf cart depot doesn't care about servicing customers, just sales! Thank you Golf Car Deport for this experience! Probably best to explain your warranty policies a bit better; lots of money was spent on this and I was given false sense of security and now here i am having to pay out of pocket to have it repaired elsewhere as if I have no warranty cause you can't even fix this in under 4-6 weeks according to your service guy! I had issues here the day I bought my evolution golf cart. The monitor went out & it took about 6 months to replace it. The break pads went out a year ago & I've yet to get them replaced because the parts department sucks. The golf cart also shuts off while driving...25mph to 0mph in an instance. Extremely dangerous!!! I have called numerous times & emailed a ton, and nobody will help nor call back. These people are shady scammers! Golf carts are all Chinese made & you'll never get your cart fixed. You'll pay less today but much more in the long run. Go elsewhere read more

Service department is the absolute worst. I bought my 2022 Evolution EV Forrester in January 2022. In July 2022 the bearing went out on the right front (poor workmanship from MFG) but I had repaired at the shop 1/2 block from where the failure happened. I had my cart in for servicing twice as well at Golf Cart Depot, both times it was there for 3 1/2 and 4 weeks respectively. They are full of excuses and short on service. The picked up my cart and delivered it every time without any mention of charge . The last visit a few small repairs that were not under warrantee but they took care of it at no cost to me . Last time GCD! Sad to say about a local business. Second year in a row having annual maintenance with BAD service. Last year Vince had me convinced to give them another try, I did. They still stink. They had our cart for a full week both times. This time saying 24-48hr turn around when I called on day three Vince said "oh we don't count pick up, drop off, Saturday or Sunday(closed) as days" are you kidding!? They picked it up at 10am and dropped it off at 4:30 but those don't count as days. The list goes on.... Anyway what I found out for next time... All Star Golf Cart on US1 offers the same service and done the same day. You can pay a service fee of $75 for them to pick up/drop off OR they send someone to fix it at your house. Also you can drive it in and save the money. Best of all when I called with a couple questions they were nice. read more

They have a huge selection of cars and so many different options from custom seats, blue tooth speakers, high speed motors. It is a lot of fun to own and to add different upgrades on it. The staff is great, you can drop in hang out and they will take the time to tell you everything you need to know about golf cars with out any pressure to buy. Bought an Epic from here. They sold me one with defective batteries and the golf short circuited on the road several times. After 3 weeks of attempting to get in touch with the service department I went in person. Vince the manager told me that because of the 150 percent increase in sales they are too busy to answer back the golf cart owners under warranty. 2 months later Cart still there and I can't get any responses other than going in person. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! These people are liars and crooks... once they have your money you are worthless to them and be ready for whats coming... They sold me a Golf Cart in as new conditions that supposedly belonged to Caullen, the owner and less than a year later bottom is falling out rusted, batteries that were supposed to be new died out and every time i called they say it must be the charger and to not pay attention to my gauge - they wanted $1800 to replace the supposedly new batteries they sold me with the cart and i got them at another place for 900$ NEW including install... The cart also had a wiring issue. First time i took it in they kept my cart for 30 days and returned it with dead batteries and dirty. Every time i called for an update it was always lies and excuses, one after the other... Vince blames Gregg, Gregg blames Caullen and his mechanics, then they say they are waiting on parts, then they blame the provider or they put the blame on anything they can but they WILL NOT accept responsibility for their lack of professionalism. Second time it went in for the same issue they kept it 2 weeks and returned unfixed. 3rd time they put in a new wiring harness after multiple complaints 7 months later... and returned it dirty and with LED's not working anymore. THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY!!! Additionally it was returned with the stearin very loose damaged LED lights too after their wire harness install and squeaky brakes. I called several times but lies after lies after lies and now its to the point i call to complaint and they bounce me around and dont wanna talk anymore... no call backs and noone is ever available to talk.... The cart i bought was supposed to be Caullen, the owner whom personally said it was in great shape and guaranteed it was also supposed to be the best in the lot and that it was his old cart and very well cared for and come to find out that the "new batteries" and lightly used cart never had "new batteries" they were just very well cleaned and shined and were 4 years old and trash... LIES!! Gregg, the other owner is quick to give you a tour and try to convince you on a new purchase but once they got your money its like F you and customer service is theeee worst! He is a very likable guy upon arrival but a total lier, a deceiver a man that has no word at all and is a complete disaster... I was going to buy 2 more golf carts from them but after their incredibly horrible and u professional ways they have with lies i wont buy ish from them ever again. Stopped in the other day to look at golf carts. We were quickly greeted and asked what we were looking for. After listening to what we needed they showed us everything in our price range and went over some of the options of different things we could do. Sadly it was closing time on a Friday, we did not want to keep them from closing so we asked if we could hold it until Monday and come back to test drive it and without any hesitation they said not a problem at all. I bought a new golf cart from this company. It was advertised as in perfect condition and used by the owner's daughter for a short period of time. When delivered, it was scratched and unsafe to drive (e.g., bad brakes). Owner accepted the return of the cart and said they would make sure we were happy. That was almost SIX months ago! I have flown into town twice to drive the cart and both times they would not allow us to drive it. The last time, the sales manager stated he was not allowed to let us drive it... and only able to drive other car models to replace it (not even the same model--- totally different models). Owner refuses to give a refund for defunct car that I paid for as new! Buyer beware. Staff state they are told by the owner that they cannot approve anything... and the owner is the only one that can approve anything. However, he was not even there when he knew I was coming in... so what is the use? Check out BBB complaints. read more

These guys are crooks. They sold me a new cart and took my old cart on trade. They said they would let me know how much it was worth. Several months went by with no answer to my requests for a valuation or my cart back. I finally went there and they offered me $500 dollars after I had just put $900 in batteries into the cart with them. I of course declined and said to return my cart. They dropped off another cart of similar brand, but not my cart, and not with new batteries. Threats of criminal action finally got them to replace the batteries but not my cart. I foolishly gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was an error and a year later sent my new cart in for a repair. They charged my over $300 plus labor for a part I had just replaced that had only cost me $70.00 and I swapped myself. I suspect it was just a loose wire which is what I told the f=before they picked it up. When they returned my cart weeks late they sent it back without my new charger and tried to pass off an old beat up charger as mine. They keep promising to give it back but weeks later more lies and no charger. Beware!! read more

I read the bad reviews and really do not get it. I just took delivery of a new golf cart from Golf Cart Depot and my experience was absolutely perfect. Fabulous price that I could not match anywhere and service much better than they proposed when I bought the vehicle. I do recommend meeting these people and discussing any purchase. This place is 9 hours from our home but well worth the drive. All I got from the local dealers was a pompous attitude and high price.
