The owner came back with he would include it in the deal for "his cost, $95.00". I countered with, "I'm paying full retail price, you can include for the $95.00". He said no! He was silly enough to lose the whole deal for $95.00! I was very courteous and not demanding about anything during the whole process. If that small a difference made the deal fall thru, I certainly would not want him servicing the cart in the future. He probably would nickel and dime you to death if his margins are that small! I bought 3 miles down the road and actually got a much better cart for a reasonable price.

I have never been more disappointed in a local business than I have with Ponte Vedra Golf Carts…read more I was forced to go with PV Golf Carts because their competitor, North Florida Golf Carts couldn't get straight when they were supposed to come pick up the vehicle - review of N Fl Golf Carts to follow. The Bad: 1. they charge for pickup and delivery - $40 including tax round trip - seriously, this should have been a clue to me 2. service (+2 minor upgrades) took a total of 3 days to complete! 2 days just to tell me what needed to be updated. The UGLY: ****in a mailer coupon (which is the reason i considered them to begin with), they offered $500 rebate for 2020 Club Car, 20% OFF "your choice of 1 Accessory", or $30 off Regular Service which is normally $105. If you read the fine print, you cannot combine any of the coupons. ADDITIONALLY, as an 'accessory' i had them add on turning signals and break signals $299 (+tax value) - when I told the bill collections girl on the phone i wanted to use the 20% for the turning signals 'accessory' that i just had put on, she said that it was a "SAFETY FEATURE" and not an "ACCESSORY". that would have been helpful to know in the beginning what is defined as an "accessory". In addition, bad business/bad customer service is arguing your advertising minutia with a customer over an additional $29 discount - it's the principal... The WHY I'LL NEVER GO BACK, and why I'll tell all of our friends who own a Golf Cart NEVER to trust PV Golf Carts: ****as I mentioned prior, the Regular service is $105, but when they call you regarding what they found wrong with the cart, the total for me ended up OVER $2,000 in repairs. Everything from replacing all of the batteries for ~$1000, to suspension bushings (which i knew were still good since i just lubricated them), and they even tried to sell me a battery water re-filler for over $200 which i also just purchased prior from Amazon for $30. Talk about your nightmare mechanic tactics!! What do Integrity, Customer Service, and Honesty all have in common? Answer: none of these characteristics exist at Ponte Vedra Golf Carts. *BUYER BEWARE** On…read moreJune 28th we purchased a 2023 MadJax golf cart. Morgan was/is our sales associate and the process started off smooth. We live in the Tampa area and paid the $500 for delivery. Morgan told us he hoped to have the cart to us by July 4th. On the 3rd, we had not heard from him and checked in. Trying to communicate with anyone there has been extremely challenging. Morgan apologized for the delay and assured us he was doing everything he could to get it to us asap. He wanted to make sure the cart had a thorough inspection and this was what caused the delay. On the 10th, we called again to get an update. eWheelz wanted to deliver the cart around July 12th, but we would be out of town. We asked that it be delivered when we returned on the 14th. We were told that wouldn't be a problem. On the 12th, I received a call from their transport company. The driver asked when he could bring it. I, again, said the 14th. He asked if there was any way he could come Sunday the 13th. We made it work. He informed me he would be taking it home for the weekend. Odd, but at this point we just wanted it in our posession. Sunday came and the driver could not get his 40ft trailer throught the entrance of our gated community. We had to meet him outside on a very busy road to drive it off. We got it and thought that would be it. Much to our surprise, it wasn"t. The brake lights and blinkers do not work. And the brakes are very slow to stop. In addition to these issues, the cart itself was filthy. Not because of the drive over. Because it sat on their lot for quite some time. What happended to that inspection that caused the delay in the first place? After trying to get in touch with Morgan several times, we finally heard from Reece. We asked Reece if we could take it to our local golf cart dealer (in hindsight, we should have bought from them) and eWheelz pay for the above mentioned issues. Or, we could simply return the cart for a full refund. Reece apologized and gave the approval for us to get repaired and eWheelz would pay for it. Fast forward a few days and now we are exactly one month out from the purchase date. We have called and emailed Reece several times, no reply. What's even more frustrating is that it's clear multiple employees have access to the main email. So, they are seeing this and not one person is helping. I have called this past Saturday (7/26), emailed, called twice today (7/28). Nothing..... No one can help and Reece is unavailable. As of today, we have paid out of pocket for the repairs that were supposed to be paid by ewheelz. We are still waiting to hear from from someone. Anyone! I would steer clear of this business. Clearly customer service is not a priority. **Edit - I posted this same review on their FB page. The comment was deleted and I was blocked. This should tell you everything you need to know about eWheelz.
