My husband bought his used motorcycle here a few months ago and we unfortunately got scammed. This dealership says they give a full warranty and the first five motorcycle services for free. WELL THAT IS A COMPLETELY LIE! My husband has taken his bike here multiple times for services and had to PAY every time. And today, he tried to see if they could try to figure out the current issue that he's having with his bike (hoping it wasn't costly), they wanted nearly $200 just to CHECK it. Ended up finding a different shop that can check his bike for way cheaper. Also just found out this company buys their used motorcycles from auctions and jacks up the prices for them. So now we're stuck with a used bike that costs way more than it should.

Instead an automated email is sent, telling you to call and speak with a salesperson who is no doubt paid on commission, so yea, a high pressure salesman So now you think im interested in doing business with a company that has already acted dishonestly by lying to me twice in order to farm my email and phone number? Fuck off

A 1.5 star rating (24 reviews) made me reconsider. The saving grace was a buddy who had an awesome experience with them last year trading in a bike and buying another. I decided to go check them and the bike out. Let me say that everyone was courteous, actually friendly and helpful. Mike Ballard took over from Daniel, the Internet contact I had been working with to schedule a test ride, and the sales manger (sorry cool dude from VT, I forgot your name) stayed with me throughout and answered my myriad of questions about the bike. A complete safety inspection of the bike was done before I test road with Dave, a very professional rider, and when I got back no one was pushing the bike sale. It was like a bunch of dudes just talking about riding. They were in no hurry and I felt like they were truly interested in my concerns and questions regarding the pre-owned motorcycle. They were happy to negotiate the sale like you would hope all your vehicle purchases would go, and it was super easy to get to a price both they and I were happy with. SO, while most smooth transactions don't ever get posted as a review and every bad experience is lit up like a roadside sign, I figured I would add a good plug for them. BTW, I typically never answer review requests, so this is a one off that I thought needed to be posted in their favor. It's hard to come back from poor reviews. I hope this helps others and encourage buyers to work the "art of the deal" and find that compromise where both parties get something. Thanks RideNow Powersports and your entire staff.

Not to mention, while i was talking with the salesman I mentioned my fiancé (who was with me) was a little upset because im his girl and hes worried about my safety and he said "ya, I can tell. Hes probably insecure/unmasculine because his girl is riding and hes not" which is an absolute WILD thing to say to a customer. I was quoted $6,700 over text and when I got there it went to $8,000 for a $5,700 bike finances. Im aware of fees but this is just outrageous. I gave an extra star due to the lady who runs the financing part of the business and the sales manager, he was really cool. Im not even as upset about the price as much as I am about the comment. You dont talk about your customer's fiance like that at all especially when you're about to sell a bike. That lost the sale for me, I decided to go somewhere else I even reached out to the salesman to thank him for his time (even after that comment) and radio silence. No text back, nothing. Its clear they dont give a shit.

I purchased three four-wheelers for my kids for Christmas. Order placed 18DEC2025, delivered…read more22DEC2025, and they couldn't even manage that correctly. They only unloaded two of the three units because the delivery guy "didn't know there was another one." That alone should have been my first red flag. They drove the machines off the trailer, and I had to push them myself into my garage. These were supposed to be Christmas gifts, not a DIY recovery mission. My kids rode them for approximately two total hours. On 26DEC2025, we went to ride again and one of the batteries literally EXPLODED. Not "went dead." Not "lost a charge." Exploded. That's a catastrophic failure on the second use of a brand-new unit. I contacted the company on 29DEC2025 about warranty replacement options and was told by Corey to come in. I arrived with the battery in hand, which was visibly destroyed. At that point, the story changed immediately. I was told the battery "isn't considered a part" and therefore is not covered under warranty. Let that sink in. A battery somehow isn't a part. Then I was told, "If you don't like that, contact the manufacturer or just buy a new one -- they're like $30 on Amazon." When I referenced the 90-day DEFECT warranty and the 6-month parts warranty, I was met with condescension and told, "If you had read the packet when you bought it, you'd know the 6-month warranty is engine and transmission labor only." I DID read the packet. That's how I know they're full of it. I again pointed out that this was a CLEAR DEFECT -- a battery exploding on its second use -- and asked how that does not qualify under the 90-day defect warranty. The response? "Doesn't matter. It's not a part. It's a battery. They're $30 on Amazon. Just buy another one." This company does not honor their own printed, signed, and confirmed warranty paperwork. They lie, they dismiss legitimate safety issues, and they talk to customers like they're idiots. They hide behind word games and technical nonsense to avoid standing behind the garbage they sell. A battery exploding on a children's four-wheeler is a SAFETY ISSUE, not a customer inconvenience -- and their response was essentially, "Not our problem." STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They will take your money, screw up the delivery, sell you unsafe equipment, and then smugly tell you to go shop on Amazon instead of honoring their warranty. If this is how they treat customers within four days of purchase, imagine how bad it gets later. You've been warned.

It seems like the corporation that runs…read moreit goes around looking for motorcycle shops in busy areas that are not doing well, buy them up, slap their corporate logo on everything, bump the prices up on everything they sell, and people just... accept it. Every Ride Now I have been in is there because it was an old shop that got bought out, and the building they are in always seems to have something off about it. This is the second one where the bathrooms are some of the oddest ones I have ever been in. I know of another store location where the bathrooms have literally been condemned and they have had to install a fancy porta-potty out in the parking lot for everyone to use. OK... aside from that, when I first pulled up to this store location, parking was fine though a bit cramped... not really a lot of parking available here. Walking up to the place, I first went down the line of used bikes that they have. Sadly nothing really popped out at me as being what I was looking for. Got to the end of the building, then went inside and worked my way through the new inventory. Again, nothing there that was what I was looking for. A lot of models that should have been there were missing, including manufacturer flagship models. Walked the entire way through the store, back out to the parking lot, and hopped back onto my bike. Didn't get a single approach from sales personnel asking if I was finding what I needed, or asking me what I was looking for. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Rode out of there sorely disappointed in the customer service of the place, along with the knowledge that there is really no need for me to return.

That led to me eventually damaging the latching mechanism and rendering the seat pan useless as I tried to work through the issues myself. Fearing I burned my money with my blunder, I reached out to Sargent as a last ditch effort to hopefully have the seat repaired. I got a reply from Bob, who said they could replace the pan and cover for about half the cost of retail, I just had to send the damaged seat in first. After a whopping $113 dollar shipping charge (WA to FL), plus the initial cost of the seat, and the cost to replace/repair, I was creeping up on the retail price, but I told myself as long as I didn't crest that threshold, I was going to be happy to not have a super expensive, totally useless hunk of plastic. I was absolutely floored today to find out that after receiving and inspecting my damaged seat, Bob wrote up my order as a full 100% warranty replacement and waived all my return shipping!! This to me is just outstanding; here is a company that stands behind their product, even if it was purchased on the used market! I have nothing but good things to say about my experience working with Bob. It's too bad that there are some pretty negative reviews for him, and the company itself - it would seem some of the things people are upset about (like shipping turn around times) are a bit outside of Bob's control. He's earned my future business, and I can't wait for my new seat to arrive!

The seat had to be sent back. They made a second attempt and the hole and mounting hardware would not lineup with the mounting port. It was unbelievable that they could not center the hole and hardware in the seat. That is strike 2. Two attempts at my OEM seat and they couldn't get it right. On the third attempt, they were able to dig up one of their seat pans and sent me a new seat. It looked better than the other two but the fitment was incorrect -- wobbly, gaps at panels, etc... The first day out the right front part of the seat would not stay secured at my gas tank. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I thought maybe I didn't install it correctly. I reinstalled the seat and It worked well for two days. However, today the right front portion of the seat popped out at the right side of my gas tank again. I wasted six weeks and $450 plus a lot of pain and suffering and back back-and-forth and photos and videos and dozens and dozens of emails. I'm 60 years old and I've had a lot of motorcycles over the years. I know a lot of folks. I'm in a lot of motorcycle clubs and I will make it a point to tell everybody I know not to buy one of your crappy seats. The only positive in this absolutely horrible experience was a customer service representative named Collin. He should be made the CEO of the company and fire everyone else. It's no longer worth my time, but I will do everything in my power to let everyone I know not to buy a Sargent Cycle POS seat! I might even take some videos of me burning the seats and posting it on social media. That is how disgusted I am with this experience. Fire the R&D team fire the people in manufacturing fire the designers they are all worthless!
