In the past couple years, I hate how Dicks added their political views to everything. I just wish businesses and whatnot would stfu about their political views. I don't shop at a place because they're super conservative or if they ...super liberal. I go to businesses if they have what I want. So when places add their two cents, specifically on anything political...it ruins them for me. I know I'm not alone in this. Seriously, shut up. We wanna buy sneakers or a water bottle, we dgaf what side of the aisle you stand on. Ok that's my rant on that lol. I rarely go here. This was my 2nd time in this store since it opened. They opened 6 years ago, maybe? I went in right after and then this time. I was at Petco next door and needed to check out their weightlifting belts. Reasonable prices on that but everything else....priiiiicey! If you shop at Dicks, you know this tho. Checked out some of their sale items and if you can get something on sale (depending on what it is) their prices can be pretty good. Big 5 is next door...right next door. The huge corporate stores love to do that to the smaller stores like Big 5. Big 5 is a better store, but of course they don't carry as much. Their prices are certainly better and makes happy this location hasn't been forced out because of the giant Dicks (lol) right next to it. There's a Big 5 minutes from my house too, so I go there more. Dicks is across from the mall so if I am In that area I may think of going in, but like I said, this was the 2nd time in 6 years that I've been in that store. I just don't care to go in that much lol. Staff was friendly tho and super helpful. So they have that going for them. Aside from that, I know this review won't help anyone lol. You either love this place or just don't care about it. Everyone knows it exists so yeah, you either go or don't. So many just order online which when it comes to places like Dicks, it's fine otherwise I love supporting small mom and pop/local shops. Ok I'm done writing about this place lol. Worst customer service. The store was empty, and I was trying to have an order shipped to my mom…read more Supposedly one staff was "new" but the manager was there and was supposed to provide the proper support. The manager took over and completed the transaction after several attempts due to the system not liking the address. I decided to call customer service 888 number to double check the status of the order I was told that it was canceled. I never received a notification of the cancellation. WTH! What really upset me was that I repeatedly suggested to have the order send to a another FFS. I'm Not sure if she even tried my suggestion but never communicated anything. She was behaving like she simply wanted to complete the transaction in whatever way, which is a red flag because there is no guarantee that the order will be shipped. Again-- why the option of picking up at a different store was an issue? She ended up overwriting the system to get to accept the address provided. Yeap-- customer service is pretty poor and higher up should look into it. In general customer service is in the drain these days. No one cares anymore. The worst part is that there was no line and no pressure for them. Again, now I understand why this place was empty when I first walked in.

Was told no problem to exchange if something doesn't fit right. Yesterday Dec 27th my daughter turned 13 so she wanted to exchange the jacket I purchased for her and did so for a few different items. ARI the "store manager" took advantage of my wife and daughter during the exchange and did not do an even exchange with same discount even though I was told different at the time of purchasing these items. After reading prior reviews of this establishment I think this is an ongoing process. Tell the customer one thing, but policy kicks in if you want to exchange. My wife has spent thousands at this store. We will never ever shop here again and I am returning everything my first day off of work. They carry a variety of goods for the entire family, including your fur babies. They seem to cater more towards certain brand names, like Teva, Keen, Shimano, Columbia and Born. They also have way more outdoors stuff like camping and fishing gear. Pretty decent prices and I noticed they carry a range of sizes from XS and up. I may find a piece of clothing that I really like at their other stores, but they may not carry that same thing in a larger/smaller size but here, you can find different sizes. I'm glad I stopped in and I'll return when I'm ready to hit the outdoors!!

Quite a difference from my Foot Locker experience (that review is posted). Shawn just moved here from California, but we won't hold that against him, haha! He was great! Truly went above and beyond to help my roommate. Was super patient with us, with anyone who asked for his help. He is super friendly, super accommodating, and if someone annoys him (don't know if that's possible tbh), you'd never know. He seems to truly love working with the public. As someone who has worked retail and did so for many years, it's a tough industry to be in...especially with how entitled people are! And these days! Hard pass.
