So I next thought of the giant PGA superstore, but even though it was a Friday, they had no fitters available as they both had the day off. On a Friday, really? Surprised, I went down the list of stores from memory and thought of the Wide World of Golf. Kinda far away, but why not, I'll try that. Max Farlow from the store greeted me promptly, fit me with a great club at a great price and before you know it, I was well pleased with the purchase and the treatment. I've shopped for my husband, grandkids and myself and I have been happy with my purchases. I bought some great seasonings for myself, sports items for my grandkids, and lots of outdoor equipment for my husband. Everything has been used and enjoyed, and has held up well. The prices are comparable to other places. I absolutely think their seasonings are superior to grocery stores for outdoor cooking.

They have improved my game a lot. The courses are a lot of fun to play and they have several games to choose from if you don't want to play normal stroke play golf. We walked around for a bit then I walked back to the front and asked for help, I stated online says you have 3 sets in stock. The kid up front said online was wrong and to maybe try Dicks instead. He didn't bother to even look it up on the computer in front of him. There is no value in going here, in town in the PGA store, a handful of nice clubhouses and Dicks. Nothing is discounted and they don't even have customer service, I wish I could be paid to do nothing all day as well.

Played one of the first rounds at the new Cadet Course at Falcon Crest. Greens and fairways were in…read moreexcellent condition, of course being opening weekend. Hopefully golfers will fix divots and keep the course in good shape thru the summer. This is a 9 hole course great for beginners or working on your short game with distances ranging from 80-150yds from their back tees (2 tee options). There are several water holes as well to add some challenge. It's easily accessible for walking and a cart is not needed. We finished a round in about 80min. This could be a great warm up round before 18 on the championship course or quick round for an early morning/evening wrap up.
