Carts should have sand so we can fill in fairway patches as needed, didn't see any before teeing off. Nice beverage selection, timber dogs are always hittin' ($5...can't beat it), and plenty of ice to go around. We finished in just over 4 hours so a great pace for a mid morning Sunday start. He didn't say anything and just went to the pro shop when he was done to let them know. Greg proceeded to speak very unprofessionally and actually said to him "if you don't like it then don't come back". I'm sorry this is unacceptable behavior from an employee. I recently got back into golf following my retirement last year and playing golf very infrequently. My clubs were at least 12 years old with steel shafts and I had an even older putter. I am now in my mid 60s and I read that Graphite shafts and new technology could possibly help my game (at the very least, make golfing more enjoyable as my swing speed declines etc.). I went to the PGA Superstore and was fortunate enough to have an appointment with club fitter Max Archibald. I can't tell you enough how patient, knowledgeable and helpful Max was. I thought I wanted certain clubs based on my research, but after working with Max, we determined that I did not need the expensive clubs I was willing to purchase. He could have tried to upsell me, but instead, Max put me in the best clubs for me, and at a lower price. When I went in a couple of weeks later looking for a new putter. Max remembered me and took the time (without my making an appointment) to help me choose the best putter for me. Because of Max, I joined the Players Plus Club there. I would also like to thank Sam Sutherland who helped me pick out a driver and Adam who works up front and is always friendly and willing to help. They have a great crew working there, and I would recommend, that if you are looking for new golf clubs or golf equipment, that you should visit the PGA Superstore in Boise.

My family and I went in to get the set of Callaway XR 13. We walked around for a bit then I walked back to the front and asked for help, I stated online says you have 3 sets in stock. The kid up front said online was wrong and to maybe try Dicks instead. He didn't bother to even look it up on the computer in front of him. There is no value in going here, in town in the PGA store, a handful of nice clubhouses and Dicks. Nothing is discounted and they don't even have customer service, I wish I could be paid to do nothing all day as well.

This was frustrating because we were already keeping pace with the group ahead of us, who were playing slowly. Golf is not an inexpensive, and experience like this take away from what should be an enjoyable day. We felt rushed and uncomfortable rather than welcomed as a paying customers. Unfortunately, because of this interaction, we won't be returning.

He had some excellent advice and recommended me a Westside Warship. I took it up to Bogus Basin and used it as my driver for an entire course. It performed awesome up until hole 18 when a freak burst of wind tossed it clear out of my view and into some thick trees. I never found it, but I bought another one 2 days later. Overall they've got similar prices to everywhere else, an amazing selection of discs, towels, baskets, and other things, and an awesome owner that makes great recommendations. I'll be buying from them in the future at other events!

My girlfriend was kind enough to attempt to replace a disc I lost (not knowing much about disc golf) to surprise me and was told that she couldn't be helped bc she didn't know enough. After specifically saying she wanted an under table midrange similar to mine she was told she couldn't be helped bc there at too many discs in that category. And then preceded to get no further assistance. Not even a recommendation of some sort. My issue is not with not being able to get a disc like mine but the fact that she was told she "didn't know enough." Discouraging peoples knowledge about the game is not helpful in anyway. It wasn't too long ago when I went to the disc golf store asking a bunch of questions trying to figure out what I needed. She still managed to pick out 2 discs and support your business. I don't know why.
