I have been taking golf lessons from the pro there. His name is Blake Garmin. I am 74 years old, Blake is not only a good player but he is a Great Teacher of the game and a Great person. I used to play golf a lot but I went around 15 years without playing. Last year I got back in the game and struggled. I decided to take some lessons before I went out this year. I had been taking lessons from Blake for about 6 weeks, once a week. He is very knowledgeable, has great patience and very good explaining so I understood it. First time out this year I shot 41 for 9 holes. I had not shot that good for 40 years. I HIGHLY recommend this man if you need lessons, a tuneup, or anything you need. IT does not matter what age you are,just starting or been playing for years. THIS GUY REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF. you want be disappointed! He is worth every penny you pay. read more

This place is terrible! Today I was going to purchase two drivers and all I needed to do is try them out. As I asked an employee they told me yes one second as they helped another customer. I continued to wait for 10 minutes as an inexperienced golfer tried out the new p790s p770s and the new Qi10 irons. He proceeded for the next 10 minutes hitting shanks left and right and evidently wasting his time as he wasn't ready for these types of irons. I had known what I needed, and need to hit a few balls to ensure they were good for purchase. However I was unable to do so as the employees were oblivious to me being there after I had asked for assistance. If anything go to the PGA tour superstore as they would most likely ensure that all my needs were met. Beware!!! read more

I would never ever step foot in this store again. If you're a female I highly suggest avoiding this store as the numerous male employees I encountered are misogynists who couldn't take the time to listen to what I was trying to ask or say. Came in to get a few club repairs. A few of the guys there (grumpy old men) were standing around doing nothing. Even though it would take less than ten minutes to do the repairs, was told it would take a "full day" to make the repairs and they would "get to them when they got to them". One of the guys was the "assistant manager". They all seemed to just want to stand around, pretend to act busy, and collect their hourly wage. Golf Galaxy rates a ZERO out of 5 stars in Customer Service. My son spent $1600 on irons and was told that he would have them in 6-8 weeks. it has been over 15 weeks and of course they are blaming Titleist. I understand that they cannot control the production of clubs by the manufacturer, but what they can control is someone updating the customer with status. We have had to call them multiple times and keep getting new "drop dead dates." Clearly the SPRINGDALE, OHIO location does not care ONE OUNCE about retaining customers. I really like the new technology for fitting and lessons. I've seen the pro Kelly there and he is great at what he does. This is my favorite place that I have been fit at. Want the worst customer service? shop here immediately. I was unsure about purchasing a used golf club and was reassured by the staff that i could take it out to a driving range and return the club for a full refund. The next day i did go to the range and did not like the club so i decided that it would be best to return it. Upon arriving to the store and asking for the refund i was met with a strict no and was told that i would only be able to get an exchange credit for the club. I was shocked as i was told by an employee that i would be able to get my money back. I immediately asked to see a manager and i was disappointed as the rude woman who i was currently speaking to said "Oh that's me". I tried to be polite and explain but all she said was "Its the policy" and eventually told me "i guess you're stuck with the driver". Never shop here. Not only is the staff unaware of its own policy the manager is rude over confident and pleasing customers is the last thing on her mind. i would have gave 0 out of 5 for the review but i had to give 1. read more
