Also after golf we went upstairs to the bar , there was no wine the first day! None. The second day the girl went to the cellar and found 6 bottles., they were expecting the group it's inconceivable that they wouldn't have wine. They set up by the beach at the lake (this is Canyon Lake remember, home to the privileged and stars like Kiefer Sutherland) and raffle prizes for the kiddies that would "drive" (golf humor) any child crazy! The raffle is exclusive to the participating children of the clinic as their names are entered once each. They have the chance to win prizes likes one of numerous bikes, tons of full Golf Club sets ( I always enjoy the children that pick these as they entered the clinic for the right reason), Wii, ipods (all kinds), TV's, scooters, skateboards, Nintendo, stereos, . . . you name it! The best part is that the whole thing, the entire clinic and all, is JUST $35.00! SERIOUSLY INSANE! As you can spend the same in your first 9 minuets of Chuck E. She wanted to see if he'd be interested too. And she was tickled that he enjoyed it so much. The interior is no frills and very clean. There is a waiting area for observation. The instructor/owner was very patient & encouraging providing tips to improve his swing & grip. It was apparent it had a positive outcome. My daughter was amazed at how much he had progressed from the first lesson. My grandson absolutely enjoys it and he hit the ball really well. I was so proud of him. I can tell he has a great rapport with his instructor. My daughter wants to continue these lessons as long as my grandson desires. As his grandma (I may be biased) I came away impressed.

Dogs! Unleashed dogs!…read more My complaint is not about the disk golfers. They are great! They are alway polite to a fault. If you need to walk by where they are playing? They actually stop and wait for you to pass. I've had that happen many times. My complaint is about people with their dogs. I had another incident with someone who didn't honor the leash law. Small, but a reminder that I can't go to this park with my small dog. It's just not safe for him and it might not be for me either. I don't know these dogs who are loose. Well, at least I wasn't jumped on by a large dog, like last time. That was pretty bad and the dog did hurt me. What if that had been a small child? So, my second incident... I actually saw a woman walk out of the park, leaving her dog inside the park, to choose whether to follow her or come towards me and my 10 pound dog. There's a walkway, back into the adjoining neighborhood. This was not through the parking lot. The medium sized dog, maybe 40-45 pounds, was anxious as to which way to choose. He/she started to come towards us. I mean... honestly! She would no doubt defend her actions by saying her dog is friendly... ...yadda, yadda. Point is, THERE IS A LEASH LAW THAT IS ***NOT HONORED!*** People who don't leash their dogs here are growing in this park. No one does! And because no one does, everyone seems to think it's ok. It isn't! It's not ok. While a large dog might be friendly, they can pounce on a small dog and injure it. Or a small child! If your dog is unleashed, it's out of your control and that's the point. The whole thing makes it near impossible to use this park. It's in my neighborhood so that just should not be. I'm still giving this 4 stars though because of the gold disk guys... they are mostly guys. They're great. ...
