This place is great. The staff is friendly. They have a real family vibe. No judgment and everyone can have a good time. They have at least 50 bys and even then it does get crowded especially in the evenings and weekends. It is one of the only ranges close by that actually has you hitting off grass everytime. Now if we can get some shade and if the city would allow lights, we would be in business. Overall its a great place to get outside and hit some balls. read more

Been coming to this range with my family since I was a kid and it's always been one of our favorite spots. Super nice range with reasonable prices and really solid practice facilities. Great place to work on your game whether you're just starting out or play a lot. Facility - Clean and comfortable, someplace that feels like home, relax and unwind after some practice. Restroom available, plenty of parking, overflow parking too. ALL GRASS! You wont find mats here. Bonus. Two separate LARGE chipping areas, with SAND! Hey, we've all been there, now let's practice getting out of the sand. 18 hole putting practice area, plenty of room. Snack, sodas and 'adult beverages' available, long with a small assortment of supplies. Also a CLUB DOCTOR! Decades of experience. Grips, repairs, onsite and quick. Plus, he's a nice guy. Our family always enjoys the peaceful and beautiful surroundings and the perfectly groomed Tee Line at MVGR, the staff is very helpful and they have a Great Club Repair Shop as well as having Golf Pros available for lessons or suggestions. My Grandchildren and I always enjoy spending time together hitting balls in the Sunshine and having snacks and Gatorade. MVGR is the only Golf Range around that we have found with a real grass tee line instead of hitting off mats. Very Affordable and Highly Recommended! A+++ read more

This range has been closed more often than not during normal business hours and just been a disappointment overall.

Been going to this driving range for about 3 years. It's not the worst and not the best. Prices are okay. Under new management they have implemented no shag bags while chipping and no chipping unless you buy a bucket of balls. Which is frustrating because it's rare you have enough time to hit a full bucket and get a solid amount of chipping practice during the same visit.Especially since I come here all the time to either hit a bucket or practice chipping. This would be understand if the facility was in great shape but it's sub par. The chipping greens are rough / grass around the chipping greens is okay and the actual range is hit and miss on whether you are hitting off grass or hitting off dirt. I thought with it coming under new management they would make it better but it seems they prefer to keep it the same and force you to buy a bucket every time you go. read more

The range is great. It's hard to find a driving range with grass. Not only do they have grass, it's in great condition. The balls are the best range balls I've probably ever used. I can't say enough good things about this place. The chipping area and the putting green are top notch. read more

I've been using Murrieta Valley Driving Range for 30 years and highly recommend it, awesome place to practice. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is for the following reasons; 1. Hours of Operation; several times I've gone during their normal business hours, and low and behold, it's closed. No prior notice on Website, no message on phone greeting, No prior notice at business location. 2. Rarely answer the phone. 3. Because they are so popular, the grass doesn't have time to grow back and therefore you have more dirt than grass. I hope this feedback is taken in a constructive way, as meant. read more

I always try to stop here when passing through the area. Grass well manicured, plenty of bays and plenty of targets but does get busy on weekends. They also have a great practice green and chipping area. The staff could be a little more friendly in the pro shop. They sell beer, drinks, and snacks if needed. Ricky Fowler, you should ashamed of yourself! First the deplorable conditions that you've let the driving range develop into after your purchase of the facility, its ridiculous. In my two visits this August and September not one tee box has had any actual grass to hit from. The gentleman next to me had to bring his own piece of artificial turf to hit from. Maybe you should rent some in the shop they would do well. From senior citizens like myself down to young aged kids hitting balls off pure dirt repeatedly while beating our wrists, elbows, necks, and backs should alarm you! I walked around all the chipping areas and not a single divot was repaired or at least had sand in them. I would love to see you have to warm up for a round at your own facility before a tournament. Patrons on both sides of me were cussing after every shot due to frustration of hitting a golf ball off dirt. These people posting how perfectly groomed the tee boxes are must be paid clients because they are full of it. There must be a reason the facility doesn't rent clubs to first timers trying to learn. Most likely they would be broken hitting of solid dirt. Before you took over there was at least some effort to seed the driving range area. Put mats in if this is the best you can do so golfers wont continue to abuse their bodies. Until you get things improved I HIGHLY RECCOMEND PEOPLE AVOID THIS RANGE!!!! read more

Nice driving range. Tried during the Covid-19 era and I will definitely return. As a general rule, I don't give anything 5 stars.

Been going here for years...staff was always grouchy but we just went about our day. Went downhill fast this past year probably bc all the cool ppl that moved here. They don't move the markers back soon enough so you're usually hitting on hard dirt. Inconsiderate ppl hitting into you bc the chipping area is packed. Old cranky rude staff..good luck if you don't have the right complexion. Smokers and drunks all over the place acting like it's top golf. Prices went up when its already overpriced. Ricky doesn't care about the juniors either and clearly doesn't have oversight or a good manager. After the place was bought there was new patio furniture for the cranky crew to hang out. You cant chip if you don't pay for a bucket...theres no signs but grumpy guy came to warn me after we had been doing it for 2 yrs already. Wont be wasting money here anymore. Tip: pick up free balls that ppl leave at the chipping area then head to the range for free. read more

Jim the Golf club repair specialist is the best I have dealt with since I started playing golf over 40 years ago. Re-grips clubs in one day or on the spot depending on work load. Repairs clubs, builds clubs and even built a set for my 5 year old grandson. I have been using Jims club services for 10 years and no one compares. I have been to this range several times and purchased several buckets of balls. However, today I was met by a grumpy older guy who had the opportunity to politely point out that the green I was chipping on was for putting only. Most practice facilities post a No Chipping sign otherwise it assumed it is okay to chip. Well, he was not so polite about it and then he automatically presumed I would not be buying a bucket of balls after my chipping practice which was an incorrect and presumptuous assumption. I will not be hitting balls here again. I recommend Pala Mesa Golf Resort where You can chip. Pitch, putt for free without any hassles and I reward that faculty with hundreds of ball buckets purchased over a period of time. Now that good business. read more
