We ordered some appetizers from Pete's menu they have. Not really younger kid friendly because we had to keep out of the way and mostly in the front. The spaces to sit are mostly higher chairs or stools. The staff are friendly and show you how to use the equipment. I'm just an average player and don't play too often, but for Roseville locals or anyone stopping through town, Diamond Oaks is definitely in my top 3 local golf courses to play. The course is well kept, and the grass was very well maintained, which made it enjoyable to play on. The only issue I had was on one hole I don't remember exactly which one where I hit into a sand pit and the ball bounced right out, which affected my score. I wasn't too happy about that, but overall I still thought the course was good. Hopefully that sand issue gets fixed soon. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend Diamond Oaks to anyone looking for a nice local course in Roseville. Thank you diamond oaks!

He checked in online prior to us getting there. That's a first. There was a golf tournament that began prior to our tee time. That might explain the slow play. The threesome ahead of us said the foursome ahead of them kept dropping two balls. We noticed the same golf marshal driving around the whole time. The biggest thing - at least 4 times a golf ball came flying over to the wrong fairway. And the fairways were wide opened. Must be weekend warriors. Good thing we weren't hit. The only hazard other than water - Hole 6 - the dogleg blind spot hazard. We rounded the corner and then saw the barranca. Other than Hole 6 and the balls flying into the wrong fairways, it was a nice golf course. We'd play here again.

It was my first ever visit. It's easy to book a session via the website. Pre-pay and heaven code is sent to open the locked doors. This business is open 24/7. It is unmanned. The place is squeaky clean. It's well organized. As a newbie I did have a steep learning curve to launch the game console and the projection system. I've never played video games. After 15 minutes of button pushing the control monitor and flubber-dubbering I finally got it up and running. So #1 recommendation: offer customers the assistance of an employee who teaches a newbie how to run the simulator. If it would cost an extra $15 that would be a good value. I had a planned routine to test 5 different golf balls. I ended up having to swing 125 shots for the record and another 30 for warm-up and repeats when I flubbed a swing or when the Uneekor system did not correctly track the shot. That took 75 minutes. I only paid for an hour session. The system did not lock me out after the 60 minute session expired. My one criticism is the responsiveness of the operating system. It was S...L...O...W... Choosing a routine such as a driving range took the machine at least 2 minutes to launch. I poked the touch screen multiple times to choose a function with no beep feedback response nor the function launching. I don't know if the machine (Bay #1) was glitchy or if this is the usual quality. Once I got the system to work, the simulator did track the ball flight and display the data pretty quickly. So will I use this facility for practice or a simulated round of golf? Probably not. The allure of golf for me is being outside in the sunshine, breathing fresh air. So being in a dark room smashing golf balls into a movie screen is a completely different experience. I will return if I'm tasked again to test golf equipment that requires data gathering.

It had a coffee machine, water dispenser, & two sofas. Very relaxing. The golf simulator is not a top of the line Trackman and not nearly as accurate. I've been fitted at several places like IGolf in Rancho where they have a Trackman simulator. My son and I found the simulator unit to record distance in ball yardages that are off by about 15 yards versus real life at the range or using a Trackman. The simulator is easy to use. You do need to pay attention and place your ball near the two cut out holes and the computer will "ding" to let you know it's ready. I have a Swing caddie-sc200 which I use at the range. That unit records distances much closer to the Trackman. All in all it was fun time to hang out. When it's hot or rainy out this is a good option instead is sitting at home.

Their high tech golf tracker system was amazing as it shows your yardage, club speed, how you impact the ball, everything you can imagine. He built me a custom club on the spot and I ended up ordering. What a difference in the feel compared to my old clubs. Can't wait to get them!
