I was seen by the triage nurse and she asked me a ton of questions and did small preliminary tests (ex: typical tapping my knees to get reaction, etc). My issue was actually with Dr. Edgar herself. She came in the room and was very nice but spent all of 5 minutes total with me before she started putting me on a bunch of medications....seriously...blood pressure meds, nurtec, tizanidine, and one other I can't remember the name of. She also said we should try Topamax. Then they scheduled me for weekly infusions. She left the room and that's the last time I've ever seen her. I was extremely bothered about being tossed a ton of meds when there weren't any actual tests done first to find out why I was having these migraine symptoms. I expected much more from her honestly since I heard she was one of the best. I wasn't impressed. And I didn't take any of the meds she gave me except for the nurtec and weekly infusions because I wasn't comfortable doing so without test results. I decided to stick with the place since they seem to be extremely thorough in their testing, which they are. They did almost every test under the sun for me over the course of a month. All the people who administered the tests were very nice. Especially the man who did my nerve test. I was so nervous about it and he made me very comfortable. The girl who does the infusions is a doll and really sweet. My next appointment with a neurologist I saw Dr. Silverstein and holy cow what a difference. Dr. Silverstein actually takes her time with you and listens. She goes over each result with you so you understand and will be honest with you about medications and not just try to push them on you (I was honest and told her which ones I didn't take and she didn't think I needed them anyway). She's willing to schedule other tests to really get to the root of the issue. I really appreciated her. I haven't seen Dr Edgar again and I don't plan to. I've seen another neurologist when Dr Silverstein wasn't available. I forget his name but he was also very nice and efficient. The office itself is fine. The front desk staff is hit or miss and some of them aren't very good at scheduling or keeping track of things. Overall it's a good place though and I'm happy with it. As long as Dr Silverstein is there, I'll be returning.

The person on the phone told me $250, which is fairly reasonable. I was there for about 10 minutes tops, and the doctor really didn't do much (to be fair, by then, the issue seemed to have resolved itself). But it wasn't much different from what I saw on YouTube. Anyway, far from $250, this doctor charged $1,232!! You'd think I had surgery or something for that price. Do NOT trust what the receptionists tell you! I will certainly not be returning. If this invoice doesn't single-handedly explain how broken the U.S. health care system is, then I don't know what does. Honestly, I've had haircuts that were much more time-intensive and worthwhile than this visit, and the invoice is outrageous.

Less than an hour before the scheduled visit, while I was literally on the train commuting from work, they attempted to reschedule yet again. I told them I was already en route, and the call abruptly dropped. No follow-up call. No explanation. I arrived, checked in, and was left sitting in the waiting room for 30-45 minutes without a single update. Only after wasting that time was I informed that the doctor would not be seeing me at all. I took early leave from work and commuted for absolutely nothing. What's most unacceptable is that no one acknowledged the situation or offered even a basic apology. This level of incompetence and indifference is staggering for a medical office. If you value your time or expect minimal professionalism, avoid this place entirely.

Took my elderly father here for neuro evaluation for dementia. I sent over medical records which…read morewas confirmed was received. But the medical assistant told me they didn't receive so I had to have it re-sent and then give a full history. The nurse then came in, didn't make eye contact and didn't listen well. Then the doctor came in and was abrupt with the nurse. The visit was disorganized, fragmented, and rushed. The doctor did prescribe medications but nobody reviewed side effects with me. I was concerned so I reached out and left several text messages but never received any response. I am a nurse myself and I always contact patients within 1-2 days of their call or message and we too are a busy practice. I was very concerned about some of the side effects of one of the medications and really wanted to speak with the doctor or at least have some response! So even though I found the doctor to be caring and down to earth, I must say I am really disappointed that nobody got back to me after a full week and I am still waiting.

Says I need an appointment to get an explanation of my results. It's obvious what's going on at this place. I'm reporting her to Medicare and registering a complaint. Two days later the office calls me and says since I already saw the doctor, I am an exisiting patient and cant book online. They tell me I cant come June 27th. So a new patient can be seen in 2 days, but an existing patient with a medical problem, awaiting test results has to wait 2 month. STAY AWAY - If you are seriously ill, see a real medical practice.
