Been going here for about 6 months now. Tbh my first visit with Dr. Edgar I wasn't happy with. I waited 45 min past my appointment time (yes the wait time here is always pretty long). I was seen by the triage nurse and she asked me a ton of questions and did small preliminary tests (ex: typical tapping my knees to get reaction, etc). My issue was actually with Dr. Edgar herself. She came in the room and was very nice but spent all of 5 minutes total with me before she started putting me on a bunch of medications....seriously...blood pressure meds, nurtec, tizanidine, and one other I can't remember the name of. She also said we should try Topamax. Then they scheduled me for weekly infusions. She left the room and that's the last time I've ever seen her. I was extremely bothered about being tossed a ton of meds when there weren't any actual tests done first to find out why I was having these migraine symptoms. I expected much more from her honestly since I heard she was one of the best. I wasn't impressed. And I didn't take any of the meds she gave me except for the nurtec and weekly infusions because I wasn't comfortable doing so without test results. I decided to stick with the place since they seem to be extremely thorough in their testing, which they are. They did almost every test under the sun for me over the course of a month. All the people who administered the tests were very nice. Especially the man who did my nerve test. I was so nervous about it and he made me very comfortable. The girl who does the infusions is a doll and really sweet. My next appointment with a neurologist I saw Dr. Silverstein and holy cow what a difference. Dr. Silverstein actually takes her time with you and listens. She goes over each result with you so you understand and will be honest with you about medications and not just try to push them on you (I was honest and told her which ones I didn't take and she didn't think I needed them anyway). She's willing to schedule other tests to really get to the root of the issue. I really appreciated her. I haven't seen Dr Edgar again and I don't plan to. I've seen another neurologist when Dr Silverstein wasn't available. I forget his name but he was also very nice and efficient. The office itself is fine. The front desk staff is hit or miss and some of them aren't very good at scheduling or keeping track of things. Overall it's a good place though and I'm happy with it. As long as Dr Silverstein is there, I'll be returning. read more

I made an appointment because the website said this office treats snoring and sleep apnea. And the doctor I saw said "oh, I don't do that, you need a different specialist." Seeing as I was already there, I took an EEG, but was then told I cannot get the results on the phone and need to come back again. So I was charged a copay for services I did not need, plus lab fees, and will be asked for another copay when I return. At best I will learn something about my brain, but that is not why I was there! They really must change their website. And I am starting to think that doctors make more money from their share of lab fees than I realized since I have been charged often for them. My neurologist, Dr. Sapreet Sahai who treated my Myasthenia Gravis was very good and thorough. She did test and scans on things that most neurologist would overlook. The front desk girls are unprofessional and the turnover at the desk is high. I was never given a warning, a call or anything. I was never told that she had left. I went in for my appointment and they told me I would be seeing someone else and that Dr. Sahai had left the practice. The person they have me with now in completely incompetent!! I do not want to go back to this place anymore since she is gone. read more

Thank you for your feedback, Inga. I received a call within 5 minutes of posting my last review early January, something that did not happen in six months of leaving messages. And although I appreciate the call and two or three follow up calls within the following week basically explaining your office procedures regarding priority ranking and telling me that the matter is now being fast-tracked, since then, I have heard nothing further, and the issue is still unresolved. Moreover, no-one mentioned the portal to which you refer. I left another message two days ago and have had no response. I reached out to my insurance and was advised that they are awaiting a retro authorization request and additional documentation from your office. Although the clinic is crowded, the staff treats their patients respectfully and patiently. One of their neurologists, Dr. S. Sahai, was very welcoming and thorough in her evaluation of my concerns. This practice appears to pride itself in "providing compassionate, personalized service to their patients", but it seems that either I don't comprehend what COMPASSIONATE and PERSONALIZED care means, or is that they just don't get it. I made an appointment a month ago with this practice because I suddenly developed a very debilitating and painful neurological condition. On the day of my visit, I had a prior appointment with another medical provider that extended beyond my expected/calculated time (I had one hour off in between appointments and they are only 15 minutes away from each other). I called this people to let them know I was going to be 10 minutes late (due to the unforeseen circumstance and due to the distance and traffic in between appointments). The gentleman who answered the call told me that the "doctor doesn't allow for late appointments (something I was not told at the time I booked the visit). I explained to him the reason I was late and asked if they could kindly take me in, as I have been waiting for so long. He granted the courtesy. I arrived 14 minutes after (due to traffic on Queens Blvd because of construction and parking ). When I got there the receptionist (red hair lady) was polite and started to communicate with her male co worker in another language, I guess he's the person who told me to be there in 10 minutes, she then referred to me and told me that they couldn't take me because I was 14 minutes late. I asked her to kindly ask the doctor, as I really needed to see a professional regarding my medical condition. She hesitated and looked borderline scared and replied: the doctor would not take you because you were not on time. Although I do recognize I was 14 minutes after my scheduled time, I find it very disturbing that a medical practice doesn't allow any flexibility for their sick patients, even when one calls ahead to let them know. This practice/provider (SUPREET SAHAI) does NOT put patients first. They do falsely advertise a "personalized service" but they cannot even accommodate the access to the healthcare they advertise it's offered by them, as this inconvenience them. I looked in their website and nowhere I was able to find a late policy or a warning to patients stating they would not be seen at all or to even give them other alternatives. I was neither informed of this policy when I made my appointment, however, on their code of ethics they do seem to talk a lot about the Global Capital Market, investing for clientsand practicing professionally and with integrity, there was probably not enough space left for any late appointments on that page. They might be good in medicine (something I will never find out), but they suck at having empathy, compassion and consideration for patients. If you are like me and value providers who ACTUALLY care about their patients needs and being treated with consideration, do yourself a favor and avoid coming here. I'll be taking my cash to a practice that values me as a person, instead. That 1 star does go to their staff, they were professional at least. read more

I always show up to my appointment on time or a little earlier then my appointment and i'm still waiting there for an hour and find out they changed my appointment time without notifying and telling me. its pretty messed up. "First -- the place is FILTHY. Absolutely disgusting for a medical facility. So gross. They had me take my shoes and socks off and I didn't want to touch the foot rest or floor with my feet. And staff were eating in every room, with food smells everywhere and their lunches in the patient room garbage cans. Next, I've never been treated so dismissively. You come into a place already stressed because of your symptoms and the Dr. Rapid fires questions at you barely letting you answer. Then she says "we're going to run tests" and you wait 1/2 an hour for "tests" with no explanation except "the first will be electric shocks, the second will be a needle." the technician explains nothing as he pokes and shocks you (having told you to sit on a dirty table with gel on it from the last patient and only fixing that when you point it out). And he inserted the needles with no pre-swab of alcohol or anything. Then they move you to a different room and run some test where an computer voice tells you to relax but you can't because you have NO idea why they've strapped four bands around different parts of your body and stuck sticky things to your feet. ARE MORE shocks and needles coming???? Who knows?? I started crying in the final test I was so discomfited. And the tech didn't even ask if I was okay (he was on his phone making personal calls, so he probably didn't notice) And when I left, I burst into tears at reception. I scheduled an appointment for 11:30am. At 8:30 I received a text that the appointment was changed for 1pm, as I am arriving around 12:15pm I received another text that the appointment was changed again this time for 1:30pm. Not sure if their appointment software that has a mind of its own or someone keeps changing appointments without consulting the patient. I think it may have to do with ratios to benefit themselves; appointment time to the time you are actually seen by a doctor, a complete disregard to people's time. When I finally went to see the doctor, I found it weird that the patient's chairs are against the wall and the doctor, sitting behind a big computer screen, is about 10 feet from where I was sitting. I was almost shouting as she was asking questions. I asked why are the chairs so far, she did not reply. It did not feel a friendly environment, I felt unwelcomed even if I was wearing a mask. Complete Neurological Care is the most unprofessional and negligent business I have ever encountered. First, it took them a staggering 5 months to send the necessary notes to my insurance for migraine medication approval. When it was time for my MRI, they only sent half of the required notes, causing significant delays and forcing me to return multiple times. The process was incredibly frustrating as the MRI place struggled to get through to the office to retrieve my notes. Even after finally getting my MRI over a month ago, they have had the results but did nothing with them. I had an appointment with the doctor, and no one called me. When I called to follow up, the male receptionist assured me someone would call, but no one ever did. After continuous follow-ups and no response, I finally secured an in-office appointment, only for it to be canceled on the day of the appointment. The male receptionist is particularly unprofessional and rude, repeatedly hanging up on me and putting me on hold for over 5 minutes. This pattern of behavior is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of respect and care for patients. Avoid Complete Neurological Care at all costs if you value your time and health. read more

Steer clear of this place! You can surely do better. For every appointment, I had to wait over an hour. When I complained at my last appointment about being kept waiting - with no updates or apology during the long wait - she responded very aggressively, saying all her patients have to wait and I'm no different than anyone else. I said perhaps she is over-scheduling appointments, and she flippantly replied, "If you have a problem with the scheduling situation, talk to management." She was supposed to transfer me to management at the end of our call but she just hung up instead. I called back and left a message for the office manager that I would like to speak to someone to provide feedback; so far, they haven't responded. Another thing worth mentioning is that --even though I went to her about memory issues -- the doctor (Dr. Dargah-Zada), kept prefacing her answers to my questions with "As I said,". I found this very insensitive to the fact that I can't help it if she has to repeat herself with me; I have memory impairment! She is also rough around the edges when it comes to demeanor and bedside manner. Frankly, she is a rude, unpleasant young woman. During in-person appointments, you can't see her face because she hides behind a computer screen and types the entire time you're spilling out your guts about deeply concerning medical issues; there is absolutely no eye contact. Similarly, when I had a telemedicine appointment with her, she did not turn her camera on, claiming she couldn't. Presumably she uses that telemedicine platform all the time in her practice, so I did not find it believable that she didn't know how to turn her camera on. So I had to talk to a blank screen. But then again, maybe she's just not the brightest bulb. Her medical degree is from Azerbaijan Medical University. Go elsewhere! Find a neurologist who treats patients with respect and compassion. You will not find that with Dr. Dargah-Zada. read more

I've been a client of Complete Neurological Care for about a year now and find the staff very friendly and professional. I was going to the mid-town location but switched to the Queens Blvd one later on (my doctor was switching over there). Both locations are always clean. The mid-town location is larger and modern whereas the Queens location is quaint and homey. However, homey is scary during a Pandemic! They are doing their best to social distance and for the most part it's working. I believe the doctors are truly concerned about your healthcare and go the distance for you. Between getting your history, listening to you, doing the diagnostics and trying various treatments (whether it be in pill, cream or vitamin infusion form) they do their best to heal mind/body. read more

This is the worst Doctor's office I've ever had to experience. Unfortunately, this is the only place I can easily get treated from my current location. I've been going for over 2 years and have had at least 4 appointments flat out cancelled on me AFTER I've arrived and waited for a while, with no notice. I've taken off work countless times for no reason to come to this office, they never call to follow up, every single appointment there is an issue where they don't arrange to receive my medication, the Dr. doesn't show up, or they'e overbooked and don't have time to see everyone. She will call your phone like a psycho ex-girlfriend and cancel your appointment if you cannot pick up the back to back calls. Don't waste your time here. They are generally unprofessional and there is a lapse in medical care due to the high turnover of doctors and other medical staff. Many seem unknowledgeable about the medical care that they are in charge of. To my first point, the NYC Midtown office was not sufficiently stocked with medical equipment rendering them unable to provide treatment that they kept scheduling me for. Not only did it not make sense to schedule appointments in which they couldn't provide treatment, one part of the instructions from the neurologist is to maintain regular medical care based on my treatment plan in order to mitigate the painful migraines. They were preventing that from happening. Instead of scheduling the appointment where the treatment could be administered, they kept scheduling me for this treatment at the office that wasn't stocked with the necessary equipment. Over the past few months, I've been scheduled to get infusions (similar to IV therapy). For three consecutive visits, I couldn't get the treatment because the needles that the assistant used were too large (this information is based on her admission during my third visit). I would bruise, swell, and would feel intense pain that lasted a few days. In one instance, the bruising and pain lasted a little over a week. The assistant who administered the procedure, Marissa Reyes, was reluctant to address the issue when I spoke about my concern with her. Again, during my third visit, she said it was because they didn't have the correct size equipment (their needles for the IV were too large). This last time (my fourth visit), when I got into the room, she said they didn't have the correct size equipment and offered me the treatment anyway. I asked her if she thought another attempt at it was a good idea considering she wasn't able to administer the infusions before. She was upset by my question. I will leave out the frustrating details about the difficult conversation we had and instead say that ultimately, the visits over the past month and a half have been useless and I got a lot of flack from Marissa when I asked her why she couldn't provide the treatment. To my second point, the main appointments are scheduled with a rotating set of doctors. It seems that because of the lack of familiarity with a patients medical history and treatment plan, doctors often have to catch up in a big way. Mistakes have been made because they've assumed the wrong treatment plan. I attempt to describe my experience briefly: I saw a new doctor and she increased my medication and gave me instructions on how to take medicine when I have really bad migraines because overall, my headaches hadn't improved a whole lot. At my next appointment in which I got Botox for neck issues, I saw a different doctor. Per usual, she asked about the progress of my symptoms or whether they were getting better at all and asked if I needed any refills. She ended up refilling my medicine at a much lower dose (which we didn't discuss during the visit). The office downtown hasn't been great either and at times my experience has been bizarre. While they have some good staff members, most are unprofessional and there are hideous wait times (I've waited a couple hours to see a doctor). Once, the front desk assistant attempted to help with a medical procedure when they were very busy and short staffed. The front desk person said that she wasn't certified for removing the IV but did it anyway. She removed an IV from a patient and bizarrely laughed about it, and said something like: look what I did. The pro is that they have an aggressive approach to pain management and, from my understanding, that is the job of a pain management practice. But because of their mistakes and lack of professionalism, this practice ends up costing people time without providing medical treatment that is necessary for them to live productive and healthy lives. And unfortunately I think that one star is too generous a rating to give them. read more

If you value your health and well being you would avoid this place like a plague. Antiquated office building with a makeshift elevator located behind the building at least a 10 minute walk from the main entrance. When I say makeshift I mean makeshift. It's literally a box with a door that is rusty and weathered. After telling the young lady that my mom was a wheelchair patient, and getting the address of the rear entrance, we waited 15-30 minutes in the cold for someone to operate the thing. The buzzer for the office apparently doesn't work and nobody was monitoring the camera . You cannot call the office directly, so I was on hold with the 800 number. Finally a young man came to operate the thing and the way it creaked and grinded I didn't think it would make it. My mom is not heavy and the chair is small so imagine a large motorized wheelchair in that thing. Not to mention it operates like a clinic with patients sitting in the most dilapidated looking chairs in the hallway. I must say the young man who operated the elevator was very nice as was the African American young lady at the reception desk. Now the Dr.. not so much. Dr Sul seemed stand off ish. I've never encountered a Dr who doesn't identify or introduce himself. He appeared to be annoyed we were there. No bed side manner at all. After asking me about my moms condition, he stated I should have brought her hospital history with me.. granted that would have been a good idea, but maybe the staff should be requesting that of new patients, and also letting them know about the wheelchair entrance should they need to use it. I chose to leave with my mom before the appointment was finished because I didn't plan on returning. If I wanted a clinic I would have gone to one. The office looks like they have more patients than they have staff or room for. If I were you I'd look elsewhere.. read more

I have been going to Complete neurological for 9 months now . My appointment time is always over booked and the wait is 2 hours + . The girls at reception are always busy on personal calls and when asked a question they answer rude and sarcastic to me and other patients . The office in Astoria is not very clean as opposed to forest Hills it's cleaner .I have yet to been seen by a MD it's either a PA or NP . I'm very disappointed , I would switch doctors offices but my insurance has approved the tests I need for their office The NP and PA were very thorough and ask many questions once you actually get in to see them . read more

This place scheduled an appointment for me on Thursday, 1/13/2022 originally. I drove 45 minutes from West Palm Beach to get to the appointment in Boca Raton and was told by the staff there that they did not know of any Complete Neurological Care. I had to call in to the number on the website to reschedule for Thursday, 1/20/2022 and then I drove the 45 minutes back home. I was told that the appoint on 1/13 should not have been scheduled in the first place because the office was not supposed to be open until the week after. Today I drove the 45 minutes back to Boca for my appointment, and I was told the same thing by the staff--that they did not know about any Complete Neurological Care and that there were not any neurologists at that location. I called the number on the website back and was told that this second appointment had to be canceled because the doctor had COVID. I had called that morning to confirm the appointment and they confirmed the appointment. No one ever called or left a voicemail for me to let me know the appointment would not happen that day. I drove the 45 minutes back home. They rescheduled me for next Thursday, 1/27/2022. Total driving time so far: 3 hours Total appointment time so far: 0 minutes Total time on the phone so far: Too much too count I recommend staying far away from this place. The front desk of the location they have listed on their website for their Boca Raton location does not know they even exist and they have not given them any sort of protocol for customers showing up wanting to see the neurologist. All of the phone support people are with an answering service that are from a different company. You will be promised an appointment time, but no one will ever show up there to see you. read more

This place is pretty good. In a convenient location. Doctor has been extremely helpful with my son who has adhd but I did have an issue with Nina who does video eeg. She called me to tell me my son was approved and made me an appt and told me it was very important. It's not easy for me to get out of work early but I managed to do so for this appt. The day of the appt she called me to tell me we needed to reschedule because my son was not actually approved. Hassles like these are ridiculous. You shouldn't call someone to make an appt until you have approval in your hand and then when I spoke to her on the phone she was not very nice and could not understand why I would be upset about this. The best neurologist office care by far. The receptionists are super friendly and can help with any concerns or questions you may have. My doctor Silverstein is the best, I went here because I was having really bad migraines and instead of prescribing me medications she suggested doing 8 sections of injections worth of vitamins which I loved! Beware! This place is negligent with personal information. Scams. Very unprofessional. My father, who has dementia, left his jacket at this doctors office and when we went to retrieve it THEY GAVE IT AWAY! Not only did they give it away, but in the jacket had my father's wallet (his id, insurance card, and other personal information) and house keys, which we told them about the same morning they gave it away. The medical assistant at this office, called another patient saying she has a gift for him and he needs to come pick it up on Monday. Which is when they gave the jacket to some random man. After we called and told them my father left his jacket and to hold it for us. They said they cannot look in the pockets of the jacket, because it's policy, yet can give a jacket away which we told them had his personal information. I cannot say they are running a scam and selling information but the math isn't mathing. They lied and said they gave it to another patient because they were cold, but the man who got the jacket said he never said he was cold and he never needed a jacket, she just gave it to him. They also have another patient my fathers contact information which is a Hippa violation. What else are they doing? Hope this place gets investigated. read more

This place is garbage. Go to another provider if you have the option. Albeit, the doctors are good if you can ever get to see them. The office staff are rude and unprofessional and are not concerned about the patients' needs. When you call you may get an answer and then you will be transferred to "the front desk" where you will get hung up on. If you have an appointment at 4:30pm you will likely not be seen until 6 or 7, if at all. The waiting room is always full. It seem like it is a first come first serve situation, so why even have appointments? Also, if you do a virtual visit they will not stick to the appointment times and you will be placed behind the patients that are in the office. Thus, it is hit or miss when the doctor will call you, if at all. As you will see from other reviews, buyer beware. read more

The office on 385 Fort Washington Ave is a NIGHTMARE. Was told I would get my results for an EEG by the PA in 2 weeks and it's now been over 3 weeks and still NOTHING. They said they've had a backup in their office with the uploading of EEG's for over a week now and are doing nothing to solve it. These are serious results for people who need answers! The receptionist didn't even ask my name or who I was when I called and just told me they'd be in by the end of the day to appease me. I plan on taking my results, if I ever get them, and bringing them to another doctor who focuses on attention and care! read more

My mother saw multiple doctors and assistants here and they often spoke to each other in Russian about her without translating. They went over her charts in this manner and indicated nothing to me until I asked--and still barely gave me an explanation. They insisted on doing an at home EEG for 5 days on a patient who was suffering from short term memory loss. How can she keep it on for 5 whole days if she can't even remember why she's wearing all this elaborate equipment? She didn't last 10 minutes. When I requested they remove the equipment because of my mom's noncompliance, they said they can't do that, she should wear it overnight and return it in the afternoon. I was told someone would be in the office to accept the equipment. The next day, I called before I drove down and the same woman who told me to bring in the equipment was now telling me the person in the building is not going to be able to open the door for me, so I should return it the day after. How did the person enter the building if they can't open the door? How are they going to leave? There is a lack of communication/coordination between the front desk and the doctors. I've often gotten repetitive phone calls from each informing me of the same information. Most of the front desk staff do not have sufficient medical knowledge--they were often unable to answer simple questions. Some of them are also rude. The older Indian man (not Dr. Patel) refused to say good morning and just silently pointed to another girl: a rude indication for me not to speak to him, but to her. He went on to discuss the sexual voracity of his younger days unbeknownst to his wife with the rest of the staff. Hello there, I took my daughter to the CNC over Forest Hills. We liked the doctor, but the EEG room was not nice. It's not even a room. It's a hallway with a closed door. The EEG chair for the patient was falling apart and it was not appropriate for kids. The guest chair was a broken and wobbly stool. Also, the room did not feel clean. First of all this place needs a whole new crew of people.These youngins are out of order all they do is talk about dam iPhones and about patient info out loud WTF!!The other issue is the infusion hag Nina or Lina whatever her name is she is disgusting to deal with she needs to be retaught people skills and manners she talks to patients and co-workers like if we are pieces of shit lady is frustrated with life don't bring your personal issues to work and the wait time is hell they are way too disorganized wht give a 9:15 appt and the doctor comes extremely late 10:30 to be exact.they need to rethink how to make this a better place for patients. read more
