I get a call from a very angry nurse with an heavy accent asking me why the prescriptions are not covered. I try to explain to her that insurance needs doctor to call the insurance and get PA, but she keep interesting that how come none of them is covered, so I asked to talk to the doctor. Dr Su was on the line this whole time, he spoke for the first time, he said: "yes, I was listening and you are a bitch " and hung up the phone on me!!! I was speechless! I couldn't believe that a doctor called me that! I don't care where you are from,or whatever your culture is, You have no right to call a lady that name! Shame on you doctor! I wouldn't go see this doctor, or let him touch me even if my life depends on it!

I went to see this doctor and he had me do a number of expensive tests, all of them showed normal. Despite this, he still went on to say that my problem is most likely cardiac and he's not even a cardiologist! I had seen a cardiologist earlier who conducted a number of tests on me and clearly explained to me the potential trigger for my problem. But Dr. Su went as far as dissing the cardiologist conclusions!! With absolutely no evidence. This doctor could not find any problems with me and just says that "the tests only describe the time when you were tested so I still dont know if you have problems but I have no evidence that you do". What a useless doctor -- I want to see a doctor because I have a problem and want a solution or at the very least, an explanation. This guy has no clue and only says to you the same things you have told him. USELESS!!

The person on the phone told me $250, which is fairly reasonable. I was there for about 10 minutes tops, and the doctor really didn't do much (to be fair, by then, the issue seemed to have resolved itself). But it wasn't much different from what I saw on YouTube. Anyway, far from $250, this doctor charged $1,232!! You'd think I had surgery or something for that price. Do NOT trust what the receptionists tell you! I will certainly not be returning. If this invoice doesn't single-handedly explain how broken the U.S. health care system is, then I don't know what does. Honestly, I've had haircuts that were much more time-intensive and worthwhile than this visit, and the invoice is outrageous.

Less than an hour before the scheduled visit, while I was literally on the train commuting from work, they attempted to reschedule yet again. I told them I was already en route, and the call abruptly dropped. No follow-up call. No explanation. I arrived, checked in, and was left sitting in the waiting room for 30-45 minutes without a single update. Only after wasting that time was I informed that the doctor would not be seeing me at all. I took early leave from work and commuted for absolutely nothing. What's most unacceptable is that no one acknowledged the situation or offered even a basic apology. This level of incompetence and indifference is staggering for a medical office. If you value your time or expect minimal professionalism, avoid this place entirely.

By the time I met with Dr. Golzad, I had lost all hope. I had seen many doctors and rehabilitation…read morespecialists for a work-related Traumatic Brain Injury. I was suffering from many cognitive, psychological and physical problems. I had to walk with canes or walkers, I couldn't concentrate on conversations, and I couldn't finish the simplest task. I was given the impression that I wasn't going to improve and that the passage of time would only make my symptoms worse. I was frightened, isolated, and profoundly depressed. My wife heard good things about Dr. Golzad and forced me to see him. My first visit with Dr. Golzad was very different than anything I had experienced until then. First, he observed my gait. Due to my balance disorder I had fallen several times. I used walkers to go around. Dr. Golzad realized that I had developed an extreme fear of falling and that I needed to overcome before I could improve. He attached me to a harness that was rigged to an overhead trolley. He took away my walkers and asked me to walk. The harness held me up. After several steps, Dr. Golzad gradually loosened the harness and encouraged me to walk from one end of the hallway to the other without my walkers. Then he removed the harness and to my surprise I walked. Within several weeks of performing a series of exercises, my legs got stronger and my mind got over the paralyzing phobia that several falls after the TBI had left me with. I became capable of leaving my house without my walkers! Still, as I explained, the depression was profound. I had seen psychiatrists. I was proscribed one antidepressant after another. My depression was resistant to Prozac and other drugs. That left me feeling like a failure. My whole life had changed. I didn't want to be depressed. No one wants to be depressed. Dr. Golzad began regular injections of the drug Ketamine in his office. Music therapy and aromatherapy were part of the treatment. After several sessions, my incurable sadness lifted. I wanted to and did engage more actively in the various therapy sessions to improve my cognition. All along, Dr. Golzad had me take nutritional supplements. I began an intensive program of supervised neurofeedback-assisted cognitive remediation therapy. It took several months until I made enough progress to stop supervised therapy. I continue the exercises on my own. I have restarted projects and I engage in activities I had to abandon after my accident. I no longer feel isolated. I feel hopeful again. Just a few weeks ago I started a volunteer job in a chronic healthcare facility. In my experience, a TBI injury is devastating. A patient must get the right care. Dr. Golzad personalized my care, all of it. I needed a lot of help and I got it. I am so glad my wife insisted I try one more doctor and that doctor turned out to be Dr. Golzad. To my fellow TBI survivors, do not give up. Wherever you are in this country, find the right doctor. There is light at the end of a dark and scary tunnel.

I wish I could give this place zero stars…read more Went to Dr. Castro for a check up today after my accident. I was hit by a car while riding my bike. I had one appointment with Dr. Castro where he mentioned the word surgery twice THEN sent me for MRI's of my shoulder....we don't even know what's wrong why would you even mention surgery? Luckily I have common sense combined with anatomy training so I knew better than to pay this any mind. He said he would call me if there was anything major (like a tear). Otherwise I could rest up and we would go over the results at my next visit. Fast forward two weeks. I Was expecting nothing abnormal since he said he would call if I had any tearing. He had two weeks to get the MRI images from the place that did my MRI and review them. I have them on a CD at home but thought "why would I need to bring them with me? This is a professional" I was very wrong. He didn't even HAVE the images on hand never mind having looked them over. He had two weeks to get them and to do his job. I was told by a nurse that Dr. Castro "doesn't need images because he can read from the report" oh, you mean a piece of paper that anyone could read? Ok. Thank you. I was then told that I "Probably maybe have a less than 50% tear in my rotator cuff-but it might just be inflammation." He "wasn't sure" The reason why he couldn't tell? Because he didn't have the images. That he had two weeks to obtain. He also explained nothing to me. When I asked him which muscle tendon had the tear he said "rotator cuff" yea buddy there's 4 different muscles in the rotator cuff. THEN he told me he thinks that I should "go on medication, do physical therapy if I want and then if that didn't work, get an injection in my shoulder in three weeks" Sigh. So. Many. Issues. With. This. 1. "Probably maybe" isn't an acceptable answer. 2. Less than 50% tear. First of all, it's degrees, not % and secondly what does that mean? Is it a 3 degree tear or is it a 49 degree tear. Distinct difference. Experts know the difference. 3. YOU HAD TWO WEEKS TO OBTAIN THE IMAGES AND YOU WASTED MY TIME. 4. I told this man repeatedly that medication, surgery, injections-anything invasive was absolutely not happening. The fact that he kept trying to push it is absurd. 5. Why wouldn't he CALL me as he PROMISED and let me know that my rotator cuff tendon may be torn. so I don't further Injure myself. So I could make appropriate steps to take care of myself. I've been walking around with a tear for 3 weeks? Are you kidding me? Just came from my new doctor (Dr. Neuman-he's wonderful and explained everything) and as I suspected, I do have a tear and guess what this is a big deal and will take time, patience and proper rehab to get better. He advised me on physical therapy and proper rehab. Oh, castros office also gave me the run around on obtaining my medical records. Dr. Castro wasted my time. I'm a massage therapist. Time is essential in the healing process. It's also essential for me to go back to work as an independent contractor. But by far my BIGGEST issue is the patients out there who don't have any formal training in anatomy that just "trust the doctor". These are the people who are being drugged up, injected and cut open unnecessarily by people like Dr. Castro. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy as well as educate yourself and listen to your gut. It's your body and you only get one.
