6th for 2022 Kinda surprised to see such low rating and do not know why. They just do not have that many reviews and few from the early days are very very off. I came in just to get the Vietnamese coffee and when I asked the older lady and she acknowledged with "Yes", I was just glad the had it. Gave her $7 and she gave me back some changes. I think the Viet coffee was about $6.50 She blended some of the ice and served in a nice over sized container with a lid and cheap plastic straws. It was still very concentrated and after I took a sip, had to fill with some water. It was strong, very flavorful and definitely it was prepared ahead of time. They also served other entries and also bahn mi but did not know how good it is or the pricing. My only gripe is for a cà phê đá was kinda pricy. Around $5.50 should be the nominal pricing for any coffee drinks for that small size. Its not like I ordered venti size at Starbucks. After looking at the review, I believe the lady charged me for 24 oz smoothie price for about 12 oz size of coffee. I was craving some dessert later at night and decided I wanted some Vietnamese dessert and this was the only place open. When I walked in, I had walked into the restaurant side and was super confused. The cafe is right next door, almost looked closed with the metal fence gate thing and all. I got the standard Che ba mau, and like someone else mentioned, it's a little too sweet. If it is at all possible, I would have asked for a little less sweetener or waited for the ice to melt to eat. The lady working there was nice and explained what the toppings used in the different Che were. A little pricey for what it is, but always happy to support a small business. Since the March Madness basketball games were on, we sat for a little bit and watched. There's tables and chairs and also a few recliners. If they usually put games on, would be a nice place to sit with a snack or drink and watch or chat with friends. read more

Best prices in town for a true banh mi sandwich. Made very authentically. Traditional styles offered as well as their own twists (like roti). $4 each, sandwiches really full! They have vegetarian meals available too. Very good Vietnamese style tofu. Drinks are a little over $5 and are refreshing esp for summer. My bang mi go to! read more

The South Federal favorite known as Viet's Restaurant has been dishing out hearty homestyle Vietnamese food from its (now thankfully expanded) storefront for many years. But folks may not realize that right next door lies an equally fabulous find - Viet's Deli! You may sometimes hear this shop referred to as "Viet's Deli & Fruit", or "Viet's Boba & Smoothies", or occasionally, even "Viet's Deli & Smoothies". But as I'm so fond of reminding you on here, what's in a name, really? I will, however, clarify that the business is probably best known for its delicious fruit smoothies (or as they'd be called in Vietnamese, Sinh To Trai Cay). The variety on the day you visit will be determined by what's freshest/most available, but at any given time you may well see tangy Khe (starfuit), musky Mit (jackfruit), or even creamy Mang Cau (soursop - a favorite of mine) offered here. But if none of those sound appealing, there are other beverage options to ponder. One I'm especially fond of is Che Ba Mau or "three-color pudding", made with layers of sweet red beans, unctuous mung beans, and squiggly pandan jelly enrobed in coconut milk, plus a layer of chopped peanuts. Or perhaps a refreshing cup of Rau Ma (pennywort juice) will quench that thirst of yours instead. But of course, I need to also devote some space in this review to the food offerings found here - the business does have "deli" in its name, after all. Maybe you want to fill that void in your stomach with a plump pork bun (Banh Bao) or two, or some very tasty vegetable chips (personally, I like the Khoai Lang - sweet potato - ones the most). You could also avail yourself of one of their Vietnamese-style sandwiches (Banh Mi), with selections including Xiu Mai (crushed meatballs in tomato sauce), Xa Xiu (roast pork - why yes, that term does derive from the analogous Chinese expression Char Siu), and the Dac Biet or "special" sandwich consisting of multiple meats plus a smooth layer of pate (what would you expect from a snack with partial French origins, after all?). There are even a few mock-meat and vegetable stirfries (Do Chay) as a nod to the vegetarian themes prevalent in some Vietnamese Buddhist traditions. Anyway, my point is that Viet's Deli gives you a bounty of options, so head on over pronto! read more

Good che and boba options! I got the che with 3 colors (jelly with variety of beans like mung beans and kidney beans) and it was good but too much coconut cream and was too sweet for my liking. Their Taro Boba I got another time was really good and not too sweet though! read more

Not very happy! Bought a combination Bhan mi and there was only meat and bread nothing else in my sandwich. It is super upsetting to open your sandwich that you have anticipated all morning only to find an empty sandwich. Who makes a bhan mi sandwich without the veggies inside, that is half the goodness? Also ordered a boba. Boba was ok, was a little crunchy due to ice not being blended accordingly. Place needs a bit of improvement before I'll recommend to a friend or give my business to again. read more

Pretty skeptical when first coming into an empty restaurant especially with no restaurant inspection rating shown on the outside or inside. I don't know if it's a requirement in Denver or not but just have to let any future people know. They also got our orders wrong and would pile up the drinks without letting us know which one they made. Also when asking them what they made they became stumped on the question themselves because there were about 4 people making drinks behind the counter. I came with a big family so we ordered multiple bobbas. The bobba itself is ok. Edible but wouldn't get it again. read more
