His entire team worked very hard, despite the cold and wind, taking only a break for lunch, and staying until very late to get the job done. They did an awesome job. We would recommend them to everyone. The work was done fast and professional. We called the owner with a last minute request for a whole new roof. Our house was for sale and needed a new one before we could close. His pricing was great and had the job done in less than two days. Competitive price, recommended the low energy shingles which gave a substantial PNM rebate, prompt and polite. I will call them this fall to schedule re-roofing the flat-roofed addition. I wrote that two years ago... Here's some more kudos: Isaac and his crew are trustworthy. That's a lot to say about roofers in this town. I've had my two most recent roofs done by them - one flat, one pitched (shingle). Excellent work. I noticed a few spots where the flat roofing was separating from the parapets a couple years after the job (probably more because my stucco is old and cracked, and not because the roof was faulty). We have hired Gonzales and Sons for two jobs. First our large flat roof on the main house. Their estimate was the best we got out of four. We did not want a TPO roof, and they did a tar and composite roof for us, and painted the entire roof with silver/tar coating. We added a two car garage to our house and hired Gonzales to do the new roof, with canallis, and the roof is beautiful. Isaac is great to work with, prompt, and courteous. The crew is quick and efficient, and very clean, and always on time. Their equipment is new and impressive.They cleaned-up everything each day. When you contract to have your roof reconditioned (mine a flat roof adobe style), this is what you can expect, when Gonzales and Sons Roofing does it: a. Re-sealed and coated all parapets with plastic cement. b. Re-sealed and coated all roof penetrations and parapet laps. c. Re-sealed and coated all skylights. d. Re-sealed and coated all canals. e. Painted all parapets, laps using aluminum coating after re-sealing is complete. f. Cleaning and disposal of all trash and debris on roof. I called them to plug leaks and tune-up the whole roof. Gonzales and Sons Roofing recently re-roofed our house. Everything that we had discussed during the quote session was completed to our satisfaction. Isaac and his crew showed up the first day on time and his crew showed up on time everyday thereafter. They spread tarps over the driveway to prevent spills and stains and rolled up the tarps at night. They cleaned the work area every night before leaving. Gonzales & Sons are nice people. They put a patch on my flat roof but that did not solve the problem. They came back a couple of times, and patched some more. Then they gave up. After that I asked around for recommendations and finally found one company that knew what was wrong and fixed the job right. The flat roof was leaking because the sloped part of my roof was the cause. Gonzales & Sons either did not recognize this or decided it would be too much trouble to repair. I finally got the job fixed by a roofing company from Albuquerque that was fair, quickly knew how to get at the real leaks and solved my problem. read more

Over the years, I have had many roofers try to repair a stubborn, leaky flat roof at our business. We even had the roof "redone", but, every year, we'd have the same leaks.
