Loved lunch at this place. We just went in for pupusas, thinking they'd be your typical snack food, but it ended up being a whole meal. The menu is so varied, so you'd be hard pressed to not find something for someone. My boyfriend got the yuca frita and I got the bistec encebollado. We shared the ensalada drink and two pupusas, one with spinach and cheese, the other with a local Salvadorian plant and cheese. The pupusas are huge, which is why each is $3. They are so delicious, especially with the salsa they provide. Our entrees were the perfect comfort food and portions were huge plates. My steak and his yuca were cooked so well. The drink was the perfect refreshment after such a heavy meal. It's so sweet, but not artificially-tasting, and comes in an enormous pitcher. Overall, enjoyed every bite. Also, the owner is a hoot. This place is a hidden gem. The food is authentic and fantastic. The owner runs the place and he is a delight. But the killer items are the pupusas. Oh so good and at $4 a great price. Place is small and booths are a little tight, so come early at lunch because this place packs out. One of our local favorites. read more

This little hole in the wall is very much a door to another world. The owner was so nice, accommodating and funny! He talked us through the menu since it was our first time and explained how Salvadoran food works. I highly recommend the pupusa. They are like little bread-y pancakes stuffed with love. Cheese, beans, pork....pretty much anything you want. They're all amazing and come with a salsa and slaw that set each other off. We also got the fried tamales and they also come with a crema. It resembles mayo but has a completely different flavor. I also got a fruit juice which was refreshing and cooled down the heat from the salsa. 1000/10 please don't miss out on this delicious food. read more

The food here is amazing especially the Pupusas , as a Salvadorian myself these are one of the best Pupusas that are authentic they're rich,stuffed and great. Me personally I love the beans,with cheese Pupusas I know it seems weird but it's great!! The service is also great , the owner remembers my name too as me and my Salvadorian family come here all the time. They also have a selection of Central American chips The ambience is great they had some Salvadorian scenery on the television and had some pictures and even the display of Salvadorian money. The food is great! The owner really makes a point to make customers feel comfortable/welcome, even if they have no idea what the menu/experience will be like. The "fruit punch" drink is DELICIOUS and well worth it. Loved how clean and presentable the dining area was--I felt like I could go there for a date, or for a quick meal. Stopped in to try this new Salvadoran cafe for a quick to go lunch. We ordered their specialty, the stuffed papusas, the fried corn tamales with creme, and the beef stew. It was all delicious and very filling. Will definitely be back. read more

Incredible food! Serving authentic "comida Salvadoreña" and other antojos latinos, this place is a must-try! Excellent customer service, too! Pupusas are the national dish of El Salvador, so I highly recommend those. However, their other plates and dishes are excellent too. FYI, if you order the Ensalada drink, be prepared to share!
