Sorry no pics of the food. Just slipped our minds. Went here twice while staying in town for a baseball tournament. So that should tell you that the food is way better than your hotel breakfast option. Food was hot and tasty. Prepared fresh. Breakfast quesadilla was really good. Pancakes were fluffy and sweet. Breakfast burrito was and is huge! Made the mistake of thinking it was small the first time and ordered additional food. Huge portions, great service, and very convenient. If we are back here again it will be our breakfast stop then also.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this place. I'd call it a hybrid fast food and sit down restaurant. You order at the counter then they bring your food to the table. Real silverware and plates that came out heated. Food was very good and the servers very pleasant and helpful. I was even surprised that they brought chips and salsa while I waited for my food and even brought extra salsa when I asked. I'll be back.

After a week in Memphis, I was headed back south home and wanted something quick to eat. I saw they were closing at 5pm and was worried since it was 4:15 when I arrived. But there was no need to worry. They were still hard at it and as I sat and ate, I saw many more come in with no slowing down from employees. I ordered the beef nachos and a drink. Total with tip was like $12 and some change. The drinks are self serve and they bring out chips and salsa to the table. Let me mention your order at the counter and the only table service is when they bring your food to you. This was fine as it seemed to speed up service. My nacho platter was huge. Everything was hot and fresh and I could tell my nacho chips were fresh as well. That close to their closing time this really surprised me but the food was very good. I couldn't finish it all it was so much. Great food at a good price.

I was craving a breakfast burrito & decided to stop by this place after my workout on a Saturday morning. I was tired so I decided to take my food to go. The restaurant itself was clean and there were families there enjoying their meals. It is indeed a place where you can order your food to go as fast food or a nice place to dine in with friends and family and have a great time. My food came out within 10-12 minutes, the service was friendly. Overall the food was delicious!

Found this restaurant on Yelp while looking for a spot for breakfast. Breakfast at a Mexican joint? Why not! And it was delicious! The first place to EVER cook my husband's eggs the way he likes them! (He's weird, I know!). I had the breakfast bowl with chorizo which was excellent! The service was awesome! The only downside was the gentleman sitting in the booth behind us who talked loudly on his phone. But, one of the waitresses came over and told us they would move us if we wanted! Great little place!

As others have mentioned, this is a fast casual restaurant, where you order at the counter & then a server delivers your food. This is one of the very few places I've seen in awhile that appears to be well staffed, and they operate like a well oiled machine. We visited on a Saturday at lunch time and had no issues with waiting . They have a sizable menu. My husband ordered the 4 street taco combo, while I opted for the Shrimp Fajita bowl and a delicious Mexican Melon water. Once we were seated, a server came almost immediately with our drinks and chips and salsa. The rest of our food followed very quickly. My Fajita bowl had at least a dozen good sized shrimp along with rice, beans, sautéed peppers and onions, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and 2 flour tortillas. It was delicious and a very good value at 13.99. We will definitely visit again to try more menu items.

This restaurant is practicing the COVID-19 protocols. Social distancing, masks required, limited indoor seating. The restaurant is clean, neat and arranged in a way where you flow through the ordering process to the dining area. This is my 2nd visit. I had the ground beef burrito, with chips and salsa along with two Jarrito drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have questions about the menu, they will help you during the ordering process. You can dine in or takeout. You can also call in your order and pick it up. This spot also serves breakfast. I have not tried their breakfast yet.

If you're a local, then this is probably a good place for you. Otherwise, skip it. The staff doesn't understand their own menu. When something is advertised as a combo, make sure the price is correct. Also the staff doesn't understand how to use their own POS system. While my burrito had some good flavor, it is not worth going back. read more

Not a bad meal for 7 people. Food came out kind of, well very, staggered. 3 people got their food then the other 4 waited about 6-7 minutes for their food. I had street tacos platter, which comes with 4 street tacos each with different meat and all were good. The green jalapeño crema sauce that comes with it is excellent. Salsas are good as well but the crema was better. It's a nice quiet environment inside with TVs on the wall but the sound down. There is outdoor seating as well. read more

Arrived during lunch time. Had no wait other than for staff to take my order. As I ordered, three others were behind me. Various menu options. I selected combo #1, which were street tacos, all pastor. I love restaurants that offer healthy side items, and selected mixed vegetables. It took a little while for the order to be completed, but it is not fast food. The wait was reasonable. Arrived home and the tacos were amazingly tasty! I can't wait to try breakfast. The veggies were good as well. The serving size was good. Approach senior age and needing to run errands, I only ate two tacos and half of the veggies. Chips and salsa came with the order as well as a drink with the combo. read more

I'm staying at Fairfield by Marriott hotel and was recommended by Dominique who works at the hotel. The food did not fail me. I am sooo full after eating my food as I type this review, LOL. Taco Felix has great customer service and I did not have to wait long for my order to go. I ordered the burrito Hawaiian. The burrito was so flavorful with the rice, chicken, grilled peppers and onions along with the other ingredients in the burrito. The chips were crisp, light and delicious along with the salsa. You can't go wrong at Taco Felix! The food is reasonably priced! read more

We enjoyed two delicious meals here and found Taco Felix 2 has everything: great food, friendly, courteous and speedy service. Unfortunately, I got interrupted during this review and didn't get anything more in the review. Suffice it to say, had the dinner we ordered not been good, we wouldn't have gone back for breakfast the next day. I don't remember what we had and my hubby likes pretty much anything in a breakfast menu. I, an the other hand, am not a breakfast person and feel sure the only things eggs are good for are cakes and ice cream. Taco Felix II proved me wrong and my breakfast (whatever it was) was delicious. Looking forward to being back in the area so we can enjoy another meal there. read more

This hidden little gem was a delightful surprise. Friendly service, plenty of options, very reasonable price point, fresh/warm chips with salsa. I didn't get a margarita, but they looked good. I got a mixed steak and shrimp fajita bowl. The hard shell taco was fabulous as well! read more

I am staying across the street at a hotel. I wanted BFast before I went to work. Made the short walk over. Walked in and the place was packed. I did get the 1 seat that was open very fast. Ordered the southern comfort breakfast plate with 1 extra egg and grits. Service was excellent and the breakfast was cooked fresh and was very yummy. This is a real deal breakfast spot. read more

The food here was much better than we expected it to be. On a trip to St. Jude we ended up eating here multiple days because of how good and convenient it was. We tried basically everything on the menu, tacos, quesadillas, tamales, enchiladas,nachos, amd the fajitas. Everything was good and honestly some of the best seasoned food near Memphis. I thought the tamales were especially good, as well you can get a horchata or Agua Fresca with any meal. read more

Just as good as the original location! If you have not tried Taco Felix for breakfast then shame on you. Admittedly I would not usually consider a Mexican eatery for breakfast but it is a pleasant surprise. The portions are VERY generous and pricing is also reasonable. We saw Breanna when we ordered, as the runner put down our meal-she asked if it looked okay. We never saw her again until we were done with our meal. Not checking on us after we've taken a bite, asked for refills, tried to offer desserts-nothing. It wasn't that busy so very discouraging that you couldn't check on us, remove a plate, grab a drink... nothing. We would probably come back because of the menu but customer service is everything. Although we always tip 20+ percent, there were so many missed opportunities to increase the total of our bill or at least fill up our drinks.
