Their chicharrón con queso and loroco pupusas were spot on. The curtido and salsas were done right, a must when enjoying the perfect pupusa plate. Service was good. The restaurant is very family-like, so don't expect the latest trendy notes inside. Also the Salvadoran horchata was tasty, and the agua de jamaica was on par with most other places. I'll be back.

I am infatuated with the Salvadoran culinary delight known as the papusa. Pillowy pockets of meat and cheese hidden in what can best be described as a pancake like package, this is a food that someone should be passionate about. I ordered two papusas, an asada taco and a chorizo taco (total was $9.50). The food arrived rather quickly and I waited in a storefront that they converted into a dining room of sorts. Oh, I think it bears mentioning that the food truck is in a converted Winnebago (it just adds to the "cool" factor). I have had better papusas, but these were solid. They should be proud of their papusas. I am just a papusa snob. The tacos, particularly the chorizo one, were very good. All in all a very good dining experience.

Best Tamales Ever!…read more This place is actually El Salvadorean not Mexican, so the food is a tad different. For example, they don't have al pastor for tacos and other things. They also had a ton of things I had never heard of. It's great though. I just wish I was able to try it! They were all out of most of the things I wanted to try and said we should come sooner. They're open M-Th 11-8 and F-Sun 10-9. I will definitely stop by here again though because their tamales were amazing. I usually don't like the tamales wrapped in banana leaves but theirs was so moist and tasty I just loved it. Hubby and I returned hoping to try some more stuff and found out half of their menu (mostly all the really authentic Salvadorean stuff) is only available on the weekends. Bummer! But we got to try the amazing passion fruit drink called maracuya. It's so freaking good, hubby and I definitely competed over who was going to get the most. I didn't like the pupusa and I don't think I'll like any of them because they're all pretty much the same with some different ingredients- cool if you like it, not so much if you don't. To Try: - Nuegados - Riguas Loved: - Maracuya (Passion Fruit) Drink - Tamale (in banana leaves) Didn't like: - Pupusa de Queso con Loroco
