Cheap. Filling. Delicious. So you say Lehigh is shit for food? Break out of your box Ringo. Because you obviously haven't eaten goat curry at Good 2 Go. It's a grocery store, ok? Go in and grab a Red Stripe from the cooler. Head to the back left of the grocery and get an order of chicken curry with rice and peas to go, or have a sit at the tables in the small room to the right when you enter. My god this is good food. Good. Good. Food.

Not to many places for tasty yellow curry. It's very pleasurable besides the tiny chicken bones. Eat with caution

I came in on a mission...I wanted to cook a special dinner for a friend who absolutely loves Tadka Dal. I had a long list of authentic ingredients, many of which were completely unfamiliar to me coming from a very American cooking background. I was definitely wandering the aisles with that unmistakable "lost" look on my face. Before I could even ask for help, one of the store employees approached me with a big smile. His English was broken but his enthusiasm and confidence were crystal clear. He took one look at my list and immediately waved for me to follow him. From aisle to aisle, he moved with total authority and warmth, showing me exactly what I needed, explaining options, and helping me choose the right sizes and quantities. No upselling, no rushing...just genuine help. In a short amount of time, I had everything on my list and felt way more confident than when I walked in. The store itself is packed with variety but not overwhelming. Shelves were clean, no dust anywhere, which made it feel like products move and stay fresh. Prices were very fair, honestly better than what I found online, and portions were practical for home cooking. What really stood out was how welcomed I felt, especially when it was obvious I was out of my element. That kind of friendliness matters. If you're looking for authentic Indian groceries in the area, this place is fantastic. I'm genuinely excited to have found it and will absolutely be back.

For clarification this is Indian food only. They have the basics and lots of little thinks like…read moreincense

Whole Foods, Sprouts, Bravo Supermarkets, The Fresh Market, Lucky's Market, Trader Joe's and Aldi have grown their footprint and expansion here in recent years. Walmart and Publix had battled against Sweetbay, Food Lion, Bruno's and Albertsons. There were several Bravo Supermarkets opened here in the last few years. How they fit in the grocer battle in Southwest Florida? I was in the Lehigh Acres in late Sunday afternoon. My curiosity made me swing by a Bravo Supermarket in Lee Blvd. First, most Bravo Supermarkets are franchised and locally owned. Bravo grow into Florida from New York. It catered to Latin Clients with fresh produce, dairy, meats, seafoods, snacks, drinks and prepared foods. There were two food trucks at the end of parking offer Jamaican and Latin food. The produce area is adequate but not that big. Pickup parsley, one eggplant and two bitter melons. I was looking for tropical fruits but the Papaya was huge and the size is not suitable for our need. Only three Mamay Sapote were available but there were good selections of Malanga and yuca. The green guavas were very fresh and looks amazing. Will check out the seafood and the meat department on the next visit. From the frozen section, I got 4 Mango Ice Cream bars and a Argentinean Beef empanada. From the small bakery section, I got two Pan Mexicano and croissants. I was at the store around 4 PM and did not explore the prepared food or deli section! This is a good side store and not huge. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. A good Latin Supermarket! Now, I know how Bravo and others can compete with Walmart and Publix. Just differentiate yourself from Publix and concentrate on your own niche.

Let me start by saying the service is TRASH…read more The only time you'll get any customer service is when the wife decides to be in a good mood and that's usually only around midday. Coming here for breakfast will leave you and your children's stomachs in hell. They do not answer the phone or communicate properly. Even though online it says they're "OPEN" at 9 a.m., in reality they open whenever the grandma in the back decides to take her time and finish what she's doing. My friend, her daughter, and I stood outside repeatedly knocking on the door, watching them look at us without having the decency to come and tell us they needed a few more minutes since they weren't opening on time. We couldn't even get that basic communication. It's sad to see so many Haitian businesses come to Lehigh just to FAIL over the basics. NEVER AGAIN. You're better off going home to make your own breakfast or going to Mickey D's. I'm highly disappointed.

I believe this was the former Andy's Cuban Restaurant but a new owner made an expansion and upgrade. Now it is Jacmel's Caribbean! I asked if they have Ke Bef or (Haitian Oxtails). They normally serve this daily but not today. I quickly select Kabrit (a marinated fried goat) with a salad, plantains and bean and rice. The salads are fresh. The goat meat was tasty and full of flavor. The bean and rice combination were amazing seasoned and the plantains just hit the spot. Well worth the drive just for Jacmel's Caribbean! The staff is super friendly and more than happy to answer question you have. We already plan out our next dinner selections like Groit Kochon, Ke Bef, Lumbi, and more! Give Jacmel a try, you'll love this place!
