I feel like not every sandwich shop or bakery gets a BLT right but ovenbird does. Maybe it's the mayo, maybe it's Maybelline. This cute little bakery has so much more to offer, including the fresh baked bread, many other types of sandwiches, coffee, and the lot. Not lots of seating inside, but in the summer, they have four or five tables out. Good place to chat with friends.

Fresh, tasteful and full of flavor. It hit the spot. The latte was amazing, and I even opted for sugar free vanilla (an uncommon choice for me) and was very pleased with how much I liked it. The straws were more for a smoothie though. The inside is definitely run down, and I would opt for carry-out but ordering was convenient and easy; both with the ladies working and the kiosk. It is exactly what you would expect out of a bagel shop, in the best way possible.

Overall did not come close to fulfilling my craving. Service was the same to follow. I approached the counter where I was greeted. The only customer service part of my experience. I told her my name and she said it would be a few more minutes. The woman then stated talking to her coworkers.. nonstop chatter. All the while the back cooks were bringing up food. And they were bagging it. After about 10 minutes of waiting. I interrupted the chatter and asked if my sandwich would be coming soon (at this point it had been 20 minutes since I ordered). She then asked me my name again and then grabbed a bag that had been sitting in the counter for some time and handed it to me. No apology.. nothing to show my bag had been sitting there for the last 8 minutes while I waited and she as the "greeter" forgot to check on it. So overall I would say the one star given is generous for the service, and food I received from this store.

A good amount of options for Bagels and cream cheese as well breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Saw an area with a few coffee carafes also. A picture of the Reuben on Asiago bagel convinced me to order it. Solid with the right meat/cheese ratios and Asiago Bagel paired nicely. The Jameson on Rosemary Salt Bagel was also tasty-would call this one a Club. Also ordered the "Lots of Lox" on Everything Bagel-enjoyed the Dill cream cheese, that said, the Lox was barely there. So if you want a Lox Bagel sandwich that resembles the ones you get in NYC, ask for extra Lox. Service was friendly at the counter and our order came out In a timely manner. When I walked in the other day, the baked goods on display made my jaw drop. I would have loved to stay and enjoy my breakfast but I had to get back home so grab and go is my only option. First time here, I'm going to start with a croissant and a special latte they were promoting. The croissant comes to me, warm and fresh in the bag. Ovenbird Bakery makes a great croissant, very buttery and flakey. I'm just passing thru, I'm glad I discovered this great bakery in Baltimore.

The vegan cinnamon roll was unfortunately out by the time I arrived, but I would love to have tried that (their other pastries looked incredible). For coffee, I got the coldbrew, which was delicious with a bit of oatmilk. The high ceilings make it feel larger than it is, and the bright patterns add so much personality to what would otherwise be a rather austere industrial space. Recommended for both vibe and food :)
