This is our family's favorite THB location. I've known this for a couple years but it just dawned on me how much our family loves THB. One of those realizations was when I was stoked on two different days of cancelled morning work meetings, because it meant the opportunity for a solo weekday treat (large mocha coffee + egg and cheese on an egg bagel) in the past couple months. I take my bagel eating very seriously, because West Coast bagels suck so, when I make it back East I have very high expectations. The Bagelry met my minimal expectations. The atmosphere is like that bougey cafe that looks sideways at you if you stay longer than your coffee lasts, the staff seems uninterested, and the bagels have this weird look, like they've got blisters on top. This was my first time coming to this location. They definitely maintain the standard that I am used to from THB. I use the app to make my order while I was shopping in the area. When I arrive, my food was already sitting in the waiting area ready for me. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. It was a little bit crowded but that just means the food is good grabbed my order and was on my way. The sandwich was delicious. Bacon was nice and Chris with plenty of it on the sandwich. This THB location is solid! It's definitely busy but it has easy parking, it's clean and the bagel sandwiches aren't greasy (like some of the other THBs I've been to). Easy to order ahead or on the kiosks and they're pretty quick. If you can catch them as they have fresh bagels coming out of the oven it's delicious! Just would recommend if you order some bagels to go for later make sure to specify not to heat them up first, otherwise they get dry and hard which isn't as tasty a day or two later. read more

Heard about this new bagel place and saw that they have many locations throughout Maryland which is also good. Stopped by the Owings Mills locations on the way to work. You can smell all the flavors from the outside. A burst of aroma hitting you even before walking on. Place is very bright in colors and the decor is nice. Was greeted by 2 greeters that guided me to the kiosk so that I could make my order. I went in with my mind set on one thing but then I saw the pictures as I was making my order and I ended up making another choice. Lol Ordered the Skinny Ham. Normally comes with a poppyseed bagel but I changed it to a marble bagel. That was the only change I made. The bagel wasn't too breast which I really like. Too much bread can ruin a sandwich. There was a good amount of ham in the sandwich and the Swiss cheese was just right. Very much enjoyed my sandwich. Already planning on my next visit. Hoped I won't change my mind again when I order. I love THB and have been patronizing them since their opening last year. The bright colors and the creative signage welcome you into a clean, bright, contemporary styled dining area. They have several kiosk where you can place your order or they can also take your order at the counter. They have several selection of bagels and my favorite is the Asiago. They used to serve an Old Bay bagel that was amazing. I hope the bring it back. The bagels are fresh and very close to a New York bagel. If you've ever had a NY bagel you know what I'm talking about. My go to sandwich is the tuna melt. This was the first place I ever had a tuna melt and fell in love. I decided to try it on the multi grain bread and fell in love all over again. The bread was soft in the middle with a rustic chewy crust and added to the deliciousness of the sandwich. I ordered my food from the kiosk and within 6-10 minutes I had my order. If you want breakfast or lunch fast you can get it here without compromising taste and you can get something that's more nutritious then a fast food restaurant. Of course you will pay a little more. On average a sandwich is $10, but just a bagel is $1.37. I say it's worth it and the staff provides excellent service as well as making sure the tables and restaurant is kept clean. read more

If you want great bagels in Owings Mills, go to Towson! The Towson Hot Bagelry does great bagels and is now in Owings Mills where the Mall used to be. I love the bagels as a breakfast. Medium size bagels always crispy on the outside and good bread on the inside. Nice selection with Maryland themed creativity. Points for trying here even if the Maryland Flag donut didn't look very appetizing and the Old Bay and Asiago is a great combo, it better buttered than cream cheesed. Lunchtime they had some great sandwiches. The Ruben covered Cole slaw and was topped open face style with a Swiss Muenster like cheese. Only surprise was that it was on bread and not a bagel!?!?! I have ordered fromTHB more times Than I can count but today I was utterly disappointed with my order. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a plain bagel not toasted and on the side because I was given the option. When I got home I realized the bagel was not on the side and that Okay. The sandwich was cut in half. I tried to separate it. This was impossible because the sandwich was not cut all the way threw. I tried to cut it only to find out my bagel was toasted hard as a rock and slightly burned on the top. I tried to suck it up and eat it but my gums became sore trying to chew so I wound up scooping the chicken salad out and eating it with a fork. I took pictures of the interior because most THB's have the same menu across the board, but this is by far the nicest looking location and the staff is great. This THB has four (4) kiosks/screens where you take your order or you can do so from your phone. The online/phone and the kiosk are setup very similar and they both make ordering pretty seamless. I highly recommend downloading the app if you are a frequent THB'r as they have deals that are app specific and you only get if ordering via the app. The Owings Mills location has never let me down with the food or service. It helps that I have a great environment to look at while I wait. If I forgot to order from the app before arrival. read more

Stopped by THB for their grand opening, and (consistent with the brand) the bagel breakfast sandwich was delicious. I had a turkey sausage, fried egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and it was scrummy. They also had the new Asiago Old Bay bagels, so I took one of those togo with a container of the Old Bay Hot Sauce cream cheese. I'm thinking what I can make for lunch with these delicious starters. Was a pleasant surprise. This location was newly opened and the son wanted to try it. The sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwich were his. He devoured it and said it was very good. He did leave some for later. So it's an ample portion. I had the Reuben. The corned beef on the bagel was very good. Nice and tender. The melting of the cheese when it was toasted did dry out the roast beef that was not under the cheese. The coleslaw was sweet and refreshing. It was a pretty good sandwich. I was first introduced to THB by friend who worked in the city, and I tagged along to the Columbia opening. I loved it, but since I live in the Owings Mills area, I didn't get to go that often. I was sooooop excited when I saw the signs that an Owings mills location was as opening, and it's lovey to know that this business was able to open two new stores during the pandemic! I ordered the egg white omelette with extra spinach and turkey sausage and it was delicious!!! I love that even though it is essentially a bagel place there are healthy options as well. I also got the Pride bagel that came with the meal and it's so cute! I don't eat carbs but I plan to give it to my sister and will update the review. The customer services is always excellent and I'd say so far the Owings mills location has Columbia beat. The iced coffee is pretty good too! It's the perfect location between my home and office so I look forward to using the app for early morning runs and eventually ordering bagels packs when I return to the office. read more

I ordered at one of the kiosks and danced around the crowd that was waiting to place their orders too. There was a ringmaster of sorts directing patrons to order at the counter and the kiosks, and pick up mobile orders at a wall of cubicles labeled alphabetically. I stood off to the side but still got bumped a few times. People certainly have had enough of social distancing and masks. I received a text alert that my order was ready and I picked it up and filled my drink at the soda fountain. Customers sat inside and outside. Things appeared to be pretty normal and THB kept up with the bustle. However, I did have to wait 10 minutes for a powerhouse bagel. read more
