Water and snacks for dogs outside and if you bring your dog, they will come out to you and take your order, that's service lol. Inside is cute they have Polaroids of doggos with their names on the wall. So the bagels /food. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel which is my go to breakfast bagel order, cause they have the option I added a hash brown which put it over top. The breakfast bagel was delicious, the bagel crisp and chewy with plenty of toppings, cheese melted, egg and bacon cooked fresh all for $7.75 what a deal! Ordered an iced americano to drink and that came out fast and refreshing, The service here was so welcoming and friendly. You definitely get awesome neighborhood spot vibes. This is my new favorite spot for breakfast bagels and just to get a coffee drink in the area. Always love supporting small businesses and this place does an exceptional job. What a great addition to the Baltimore bagel game! This place was bustling on the weekend with not a lot of space to wait for your food but there's a decent seating both inside and outside. I grabbed a sesame bagel with the garlic jalapeño cream cheese. The bagel was chewy on the outside and soft inside. The cream cheese was blended well and not super overwhelming. I honestly could have done with a little more spicy but totally understand the choice to make it more approachable. Given we don't have a ton of shops that specialize in bagels, I went into Good Boy Bagels with high expecations and unfortunately left with mixed feelings. I love the premise of the bagel shop being dog themed and all of the pictures of dogs on the wall are so adorably cute. During my visit I stepped up to the counter to pondered a little over the menu but was never greeted by the young lady attending the counter. She just looked past me, which wasn't very welcoming. Once I told her good morning and that I was ready to order, she then spoke. I ordered a few items since the bagels were going to be breakfast that morning and then a quick breakfast while on vacation. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, three flavors of bagels, the honey old bay cream cheese, a brownie, and a matcha. Now the matcha was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed that and could see myself paying them another visit if I were in the area. The cream cheese was also very tasty. And there are no words to describe how good the brick of brownie was. Now the bagels were just mediocre to me. I wanted more flavor from the french toast bagel but it was kinda undesired. And I know a good bagel has a good chew to it, however, these were just a little too chewy in my opinion. My sausage and cheese bagel was ok, but I wasn't a fan of the sausage they use. A lot of quick breakfast options. The bacon eggs cheese on French toast bagel was good! It's not giving NY bagel but I'm satisfied with the Baltimore style. The Valentine's Day latte was not good at first but as a kept drinking it grew on me. The service was quick and the workers were working really hard. Good Boy Bagels is a dog themed bagel shop located in the Brewers Hill neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on Conkling St. as well as the adjacent side streets. I came in on a Friday morning for breakfast and was able to find parking the block down. I came in not for a prepared bagel with spreads or a burrito or even a coffee but I wanted to buy fresh plain bagels to take home. They do offer this! Single bagels are between $2 and $3, while they offer deals for a half dozen or dozen. 3 everything bagels came out to $6! While I didn't try their bagel sandwiches; I definitely think they can get pricy. I do have to make a note about their customer service as well; they made someone's drink incorrectly and did correct it and offered me the incorrect one as opposed to just tossing it out. I also asked about their stickers (dog themed as well) and while they were out, she did tell me they'd be coming back in shortly. Everything bagel (plain) 4.5/5, this was soft with light toasting on its exterior. Everything mix covered the top and bottom (!) of the bagel and they retoasted well after storing them in my fridge overnight! Iced coffee with vanilla maple sweetener 4/5, I normally do not like coffee but this predominantly tasted quite sweet and was perfect for me! read more

This is a cute spot that we were excited to try. Now, I am a NY/NJ bagel gal and while these were close they were so tiny. A little over half the size of what I'm accustomed to. Service was okay but what really caused the score was health and safety. They have a sign about no pets inside yet someone came in with a non service pet and they did not ask them to exit with the pet so the dog was near all the items (napkins, utensils, etc). On top of that, someone asked for extra milk for their beverage and they handed the carton they use for everyone else's drinks to use at the customer's leisure. Unacceptable. Soon to become one of my go to neighborhood spots, this rowhome gem is churning out top notch bagel fare with some of the friendliest staff on the block. I arrived late Sunday morning to find the line nearly out the door, but with many folks ordering to go, I was able to find a table, which with excellent free WiFi, I was able to post up at to work. The GBB staff is warm, welcoming and accommodating from top to bottom. Place your order a the front register and collect any drink orders at the cafe bar once called out, while any food orders are brought straight to your table. I ordered the weekend special--bagel of choice topped with cream cheese, local bourbon-cherry jam, aged-balsamic and basil. Truly one of the best bagel bites I've had in recent memory. Let's talk bagel first. I went with the Everything, which had a nice bagel base to seasoning ratio. The bagel itself had a perfect crisp exterior to chewy, soft interior. The house cream cheese is divine--thick and creamy but restrained in flavor so as to not overpower the rest of the bite. The bourbon-cherry jam was out of this world. Sweet meets rich, complex savory flavor with whole cherries that melt in your mouth. The aged-balsamic drizzle and basil added just the right acidity and fresh herb pop. I paired with a hot oat milk latte which I'd give a solid 4/5 stars. Espresso roast was a bit darker than my preference but would certainly order again. I love GBB!! Best bagels in Baltimore imho, they're hand rolled and you can really tell the difference in texture. Also, the owner here taught me about how to properly make matcha and encouraged me to try one. Even though I thought I didn't like matcha, it seemed like she really knows her stuff so I thought what the heck. Turns out I don't like poorly made matcha, but theirs is delicious! It seems like the Good Boy Bagel sign has been up for what seems like years. Driving down one of the main roads in the neighborhood, I try to use my restaurant activity super-vision to see if someone is making bagels. Well finally the neighborhood social media let me know the bagels are out of the oven and Good Boy Bagel is open. I stopped by on a Friday morning after the gym. I brought my laptop to do some work and there was a brisk business the whole time I was there and I shut the place down. You order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready. I had an iced vanilla matcha latte and it was perfect after the gym. I was excited to try the bagels but I couldn't resist a chorizo burrito especially with queso and hash browns inside. I have no regrets. The staff was great. The place was nice and sunny. It has seating for maybe 30. There is also seating outside. If you come with your pet, you can order and have your food brought to you outside. Next time I will get a bagel and there will be a next time. read more

Yum! Found this place on Instagram and immediately visited after a nice workout at Orange Theory. I ordered the vanilla matcha latte and the Club Hon on an onion bagel. That old bay cream cheese is to die for I will say I wish the bagel wasn't as well done and it came out a little cold so it was harder than my personal prefer. The matcha latte was perfect and just the right amount of vanilla that it wasn't overpowering and the drink wasn't too sweet. They have quite a bit of seating inside and the drinks came out quick! What are the odds that I hear about this place then have to pick up a recliner around the corner the *literal* next day. I went here the other day and was really glad I did! We arrived around 11AM on a Saturday, and there was already a line out the door and down the street. The wait wasn't bad, about 20-25 minutes, but they were out of plain bagels by the time we got to the front of the line. They promised us fresh bagels if we waited another 15 minutes, and because the rest of their offerings (everything, sesame, and poppy) are all seeded and I can not eat seeds, we agreed to wait. The fresh, plain bagel was worth the wait - crispy outside, doughy inside, so yummy. The vibe inside the café is very cute and welcoming. Appropriately dog-themed, which I ADORE. Drove down from the county because I heard these bagels were like New York/New Jersey bagels so I was definitely excited to try it out. I ordered a BLT and a bacon egg and cheese on an onion bagel, one hot chocolate, one Matcha, and two iced teas. The bagels seem to be overcooked. I can bite it, but the pull away was really tough and the onion bagel wasn't necessarily a onion bagel, but rather a plain bagel with onion sprinkles on top. The iced tea wasn't sweet at all, but the ice maple vanilla Matcha was great. They forgot to give us the hot chocolate, but then said that they never put it on the order slip, but eventually they gave us a really tiny cup of hot chocolate for free. I probably won't come back because it was nothing memorable, it wasn't like a New York bagel and it's a little pricey for what I want to pay for a bagel sandwich.
