So tasty, this poppy bagel is irresistible!

The Best bagels in Baltimore. Don't bother with the coffee, you want a bagel. The recent renovation got rid of a bottleneck.

Went early and the service was excellent! Ordered a large coffee with half and half and an everything bagel with creamed cheese, lox and a slice of tomato. Not a better breakfast for me and it all tasted great! Sat in the far side room but there was a nice seating outdoors which would have been nice if it were a bit cooler outside.

Issa no for me dog. I wanted to like Goldberg but too many issues in my first visit. When you first walk in, no clue on what or where to order. There's a register if you just want a plain bagel. If you want a breakfast sandwich, you have to use the other two registers behind you. Theres a brief menu of non breakfast bagel sandwiches on the wall. Where's the full menu, sis?! Then there's more registers for coffee and other drinks. Very confusing and weird set up. Also weird alliance when it comes to the mask policy. Some staff had on masks, others didn't. So I ordered a bacon egg white and cheese on an everything bagel. Simple right? Few moments later someone from the back comes out and informs me there's no veggie bacon. Veggie bacon!? I didn't ask for that. Regular bacon me please. They don't have that either. Okay so egg white and cheese me. Even though I was charged for the bacon they've been out of for MONTHS and for some reason, the cashier didn't know. I eventually eat my bagel. I could have done without it. Disappointed is an understatement. Would not recommend and definitely not going back.

    A cookie for our order.

This bagel spot was recommended by my husband's Coworker. He said if you're looking for NY bagels try this place out. Def looks like a bagel spot from Long Island but the quality was not what I was looking for. My bagel tasted like it was from yesterday's batch. Hubby and I went in bright and early so, I was looking for a fresh out of the oven bagel. The kind of bagel that is soft to touch but crunchy and crisp with each bite. Sorry not here. The cream cheese tasted like sour cream so I wasn't pleased. You go in and you see the bagels but I had to go the opposite of the counter to order my bagel with cream cheese. I didn't see anyone come out a grab a fresh bagel from counter so I was a lil suspicious since it was given to us from a different pick up section. There's also a coffee area but the barista was busy having a conversation with security guard about gun use and other non sense so we didn't even bother to order the coffee. Service needs a lil more work. Other wise, I did enjoy the side of home fries. Good side portion for reasonable price.

Fantastic service! The everything bagel had just the right amount salt, and complimented the cream cheese and lox perfectly.

The short version is you won't find better bagels dine in or to go in the area. Their menu is well designed with a decent variety of options without being overwhelming or trying to do too much. As a regional chain, they have several locations but this one is very well situated. There's a free parking lot and free parking on the street out front. They have a decent inside dining area and outdoor seating on the patio as well. During the pandemic, they kept going with delivery and curbside pick up and eventually opened for in-store pick up and eventually for in-store dining again. Over the past few years they have been rewarded with a growing and loyal customer base. All of this means that if you want to place an order, be prepared, especially on weekend mornings, for a decent delay as they will at times become swamped with customers. I highly recommend downloading and using their app. Much better than trying to use a third party app to order. Plus you get occasionally discounts/rewards. In order to help address the breakfast rush hour, a few years ago they installed a very large wall with alphabetized shelves for pick up orders. in addition, they recently added a monitor that shows which orders are currently ready and on the shelf, and which orders are in progress with a time estimate for when it will be ready. In terms of specific food items, I highly recommend all of the breakfast egg sandwiches. Be aware that the 'ham' they list is Taylor ham; also known as pork roll. Very delicious, but not the same thing as deli ham. All of the lunch sandwiches are well-made but I am partial to the low fat chicken salad. It's great on a bagel, cold, or on rye bread as a Panini. The french fries are a must have, and I would absolutely get them with breakfast or lunch.

The Canton location is dog friendly. No one said anything about my pup being inside and I saw other people bring their dogs too which was neat. We ordered lattes (mine had a shot of caramel to give it some flavor), the Crabby Melt (collab with Jimmy's Seafood), Egg White & Veggie Omelet, and some bagels to take home. The crabby melt was good and the omelet was decent. Nothing spectacular but good to try out. The bagels are probably the highlight along with my latte. It's a good spot for people who enjoy breakfast bagels.

But they do have a wide menu which includes cheesesteak so I decided to give them a try. Then came the 100% disappointing sad cheesesteak I was served. From the soggy bread, to the wrapper that stuck to my cheese and turned my cheesesteak into just the "steak" part. The flavor was that of a piece of bread soaked in water and tasteless. Overall did not come close to fulfilling my craving. Service was the same to follow. I approached the counter where I was greeted. The only customer service part of my experience. I told her my name and she said it would be a few more minutes. The woman then stated talking to her coworkers.. nonstop chatter. All the while the back cooks were bringing up food. And they were bagging it. After about 10 minutes of waiting. I interrupted the chatter and asked if my sandwich would be coming soon (at this point it had been 20 minutes since I ordered). She then asked me my name again and then grabbed a bag that had been sitting in the counter for some time and handed it to me. No apology.. nothing to show my bag had been sitting there for the last 8 minutes while I waited and she as the "greeter" forgot to check on it. So overall I would say the one star given is generous for the service, and food I received from this store.

There was a long line, but we were able to find a table relatively quickly. The vegan cinnamon roll was unfortunately out by the time I arrived, but I would love to have tried that (their other pastries looked incredible). For coffee, I got the coldbrew, which was delicious with a bit of oatmilk.
