We never crated Bandit. Our primary issues were: leash pulling, jumping and recall. Each week, Coach Abeer added value to her class. She emphasized the importance of establishing a leadership role, a solid/respectful relationship with your puppy, the importance of crate training and the importance of mental and physical exercise. Bandit did not like the crate the first couple weeks. It's been a few months and now he goes on command during the day for a couple hours and every night for bedtime. He no longer whines and understands the value of "place" (elevated bed) when not in his crate. He doesn't pull and sits when greeting strangers. After her 6 week class, one private one-on-one home session, a week for a board and train and then doggy day care, we established boundaries and gave him structure which has helped with his separation anxiety. There is so much that we learned that we never knew. We highly recommend her class. She is direct with her training but we know she has the best interest of the puppy. Some people may not like to hear "bad" news about how they have been training their dog but if you're open, it will make a world of difference to your dog. Bandit is much more respectful and knows his place. We are satisfied.

We took our Artie and Gwen to Pup Hub in December while we visited family in Montana. We were very…read moreapprehensive as we've only boarded Artie once and Gwen was abandoned with us and we've never boarded her nor did we know how she'd react. Thankfully, the experience couldn't have been more of a relief. We brought both dogs in before heading to the airport and they immediately took to the staff. The staff assured us they'd be just fine and quickly took care of all administrative items and catalogued their items. Off to the airport we went, still a little worried. We had barely made it through security before we saw a post on Pup Hub's Facebook page welcoming Artie and Gwen with pictures of them playing in the yard. This took a huge weight off our shoulders. Over the next 4 days, Pup Hub posted adorable pictures of them at least three times a day to let us know they were doing well. When we got back, I don't know if the dogs were even ready to go! They seemed to both have a great time and the team there said they did well. They ate their food, enjoyed their treats and played with their toys, which is a great sign they were comfortable. The session was extremely informative - she even had us try our hand at training which felt SO empowering when our little Lucy listened to our commands. By the end of our session, he had taught me how to effectively communicate with my dogs, understanding things from my dog's eyes. I could walk my dog on a loose leash, he became more confident and quickly understood what was expected of him. They were having lunch somewhere. The daughter was feeding the dog part of their lunch and giving it water. He commented that it was terribly hot and how thirsty the dog was. He said we had to leave him there. Really? A man of God, dog trainer and supposed animal lover and you just leave him to fend for himself knowing this poor dog needed help. You will not get me to believe that there wasn't something you could have done. He also commented how his daughter cried for an hour after this. I can imagine she did. What a horrific thing to do to an animal in need. At first I just commented to his post that I could never have done that and wasn't there anything he could have done to help. No comment from him. I waited awhile and put a review on Google with the rest of his 5 star reviews. It wasn't long until he removed the post about the stray dog and I was unable to get back on his Facebook and still can't, so I assume he either blocked me or made a new Facebook. If that's what he did he's a coward. You put the post on, so let people give their thoughts. They told me he would be okay to go to my Vet the next morning because my Vet was closed this day. As soon as I got home he passed out and died. I made an emergency call they would not let me talk to the Dr. Moore or nurse. I talked to them several times days later and they were unamused about my loss. They acted like well you only had $240. I would have sold the house to save my friend. I'll never get over the loss or this experience. I feel like they could have saved him but instead took the money & pushed us out the door. I feel like they facilitated his death.

Over Winston's 8 days I received daily updates with pictures that was very reassuring and comforting to me that he was in excellent hands during his stay and he got to meet and play with other dogs. He came home happy, healthy. We definitely recommend Dotson Dot's & Brother Link Kennels and look forward to future visits.
