RACIST. NO ACCOUNTABILITY and HARMFUL to innocent animals. if I could leave zero stars I would! I called the school because my dog and I aren't in the best place and had to take him from his normal groomers who he has never had a problem with! He has some matting on his butt because the hairs grew really long around it so I understood it would be a shorter cut. I dropped him off at 10:30am I was told to pick him up at 5pm and when I picked him up he had random pieces of hair hanging all over his body, cuts and lumps , no nail trim, no teeth brushing just a rushed Job done for over 6 hours. when he got into my car he ran under the passenger side seat hiding and growling at me and refused to let anyone touch him. I immediately went back into the school with tears streaming down my face and asked the school what happened they stated it took 3 people to hold down a 13 pound mini poodle and that he experienced some trauma I shouldn't have paid but I did. and left. When I returned home my dog continued to hide from me, looking into space and would flinch anytime I tried to get him. I knew in my heart something happened to him, I went back the next day to get some type of justice for him after seeing some hidden reviews over the years of them doing the same to other dogs. I went in stern because I was upset over my dog, I didn't curse, didn't throw things around and I still got the POLICE called on me. When I said very loud "wow to be black in america standing up for yourself gets you this" the owner Sasha laughed in my face and said with this attitude why would I help you. the police were called and their solution was they would have my dog return in 2 weeks and they would finish the haircut free of charge. I have so many issues with their resolution. Not once did they take accountability, they had lite me trying to convince me that my dog myst have gotten injured prior to Him coming to them and to top it off I was so much of a "threat" To them that they would call the police but not enough that it was okay for me to return. NOT OKAY. Don't EVER bring your animal here if you care about their well being. read more

I love bringing my two dogs to TAGS for grooming, a white terrier mix and a Shih Tzu. They do a beautiful job and Verdran is super! I like that I usually don't have to leave my dogs all day, maybe only about 3-4 hours. Makes it easier on them and me! Also, TAGS is more affordable than other groomers. I have been going there a number of years with multiple purebred dogs of multiple breeds. I even took my show dogs there for grooming between shows (the show grooming would be by my handler before a show). In all instances I have been pleased. The work is professional and done well. I currently have four dogs going there with a variety of grooming needs from hand stripping my Russel Terrier, dealing with matted hair on my Sealyham terrier, to scissors sculpting of my poodles. This is my favorite place to have my dogs groomed! I previously used Petsmart and I can tell you Texas Allbreed Grooming School has surpassed them by far! I never have any issues here and my dogs are always happy and smell pretty when leaving here! Not to mention the haircuts looks just like I wanted, if not better! One of my dogs has a bunch of issues with her skin, but the students and staff here are more than accommodating, ensuring my complicated instructions are followed to a T. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable grooming facility that is also less pricier than Petsmart and does a way better job. read more

We have 2 mini schnauzers, Buckee and Delilah, that hadn't been groomed in a long time and were really raggedy. Just loved the cut and care they got at Allbreed. Gave them some written instructions and was so pleased with the results. Best grooming they have had in a long time. will be taking them back again! read more

I have been to many groomers due to moving around quite a bit within the last couple of years. I was taking my dogs to Rendon tx to be groomed and they did an AMAZING job. This place was close by so I thought it would be easier on us if we used this groomer. I wish I had NEVER gone to this grooming facility! I have a long haired german shepherd and I absolutely did not want her shaved. It ruins her coat. She's been shaved once and her hair came back wavy in several places, plus I HATE the look. When I called up to schedule my appointment, I specifically said I did NOT want my long haired german shepherd shaved just trimmed very short. When they called to confirm my appointment the day before I repeated that I did NOT want my dog shaved. Debbie said that I needed to make sure that I show them how short when I come in. I did do this and we had a discussion about how much to leave and take off. It was written on her card w her name. When I went to pick up my dog she was completely shaved!! Debbie said that she had gotten my dog mixed up with another dog in the facility. I was and still am furious with the service! They did give me my money back on her, but nothing can be done with the fact that my beautiful dog (that we get compliments on all the time) is hideous. This has never been a problem at any of the other grooming places we have been. I was expecting not great service here since it is a school but not the exact opposite of what I asked for several times. My advice, save your money and go somewhere else. read more
