Here…read more Megan Nelson, the owner and director of most productions here, comes off as kind and pleasant to work with at the start of your experience working at this theater but very quickly shows her true colors. Prior to performing here, I had already heard negative reviews of Megan's character but still decided to give her and her theater a chance. Ultimately, Megan is extremely unprofessional. She often leaves rehearsals early "to rest", putting the assistant director in charge of blocking. She will then come back and yell at her cast/assistant director for "not doing what she envisioned" and change everything putting her cast under pressure that didn't need to exist to begin with. She doesn't follow throw on and promises she makes to her casts/crew then is extremely unkind (screams in actors faces, throws tools, throws temper tantrums, etc) when the cast tries to alleviate pressure by picking up the pieces of projects she chooses to neglect. I'm not sure if the same goes for her children productions but if you're adult, run!!!!!

It was the talk of the show last night when people saw it. How embarrassing for her honestly. It sounds like this whole cast has been betrayed by this pathetic person over and over again. She needs to never do anything with Broadway on the Side so the company can succeed. I will say; the show into the woods I saw this weekend was actually one of the best performances of this show l've ever seen. But that's strictly due to the talent of the actors. I KNOW theatre and I could tell that they were never given good direction by their "director" * I also heard rumor that their "director" quit the show anyways so I hope whoever is in charge now takes the show and fixes all of the directors mistakes. No... we go wondering how much of it we'll have to swallow whole because our teeth aren't quite up to the job of the chewy mound believed to be prime rib on our plate! NOT THIS TIME!! The prime rib was rubbed in rosemary and other herbs and was awesome. Tender and juicy. The part-roast potatoes were also bathed in rosemary and were cooked perfectly. I'll even mention the veggies, which were not your usual soggy mess, but still al dente and tasty. Our friends who had the Salmon raved about how tender and perfectly cooked it was. They were wondering if it had been poached rather than grilled - it certainly looked poached - and looked lovely.

I wouldn't have selected the correct shoe size, the leotard was an "easy-off" option (which is worth so much dressing/undressing a 3 yo) and the tights are soft (which is also great, as my kid hates tights, but wears these with no issue). Beyond that, the customer service is amazing. The associate selected these options for me after listening to what the studio required, AND who was going to be wearing the items. I will definitely be going back.
