It's weird rating this place. I was with a group of friends and I didn't go to back, but the lobby was clean, the cashier was friendly, and the service was extremely fast. Predatory, Dishonest, and Complicit. Do not go to Good Day Farm unless you're prepared to be scammed and extorted. On a recent visit to Good Day Farm, I experienced what can only be described as a calculated and predatory parking scam--one in which the business appears to be complicit. After parking near the dispensary, two men standing nearby asked if we were going into Good Day Farm. We responded honestly that we weren't going in right away, but planned to shortly. They gave no warning, no clarification, and made no mention that leaving the premises could result in immediate punitive action. When we returned, our vehicles were booted. The individuals, who are clearly stationed outside waiting to target visitors, demanded $400 via Venmo or Zelle to remove the boots. When we inquired about signage, we found no clear or visible warnings in the spots we parked in indicationg the risk of being booted or towed. The process felt like a trap. Hoping for assistance, we went inside and spoke with the Good Day Farm manager. His response was that the lot is "private property" and under the control of a "private towing company", offering no help and no concern that this kind of predatory behavior is happening directly outside their storefront. In an attempt to be constructive, I suggested to the men operating the booting that clearer signage might prevent confusion. Their response? "We're not legally required to." One man had a firearm visible in his pocket, which made the interaction feel not only intimidating but unsettling. This operation isn't about enforcing parking rules. It's about exploiting technicalities and trapping customers to extort hundreds of dollars in cashless, untraceable payments. The fact that Good Day Farm permits this to occur on their property, and offers no protections or warnings to customers, makes them directly responsible for the experience. It's deeply disappointing to see a business allow this kind of unethical, intimidating behavior just outside its doors. Consumers deserve transparency, safety, and basic respect.... none of which were present here. Shame on Good Day Farm for creating a space where this kind of intimidation and extortion is allowed to thrive. I don't know how anyone involved in this operation sleeps at night. Okay goodbye. I was shopping online looking at various edibles and ordered a brand I like that was listed on the site as a hybrid. When I got home and looked at the package label, it was a sativa. I googled the brand and product, and if fact, it is a sativa. I called the store today and spoke to the manager. I told him their website listed the product incorrectly, that the website said hybrid which I what I wanted, but the product was a sativa. I understand they cannot do returns, but he refused to give me credit or just give me the hybrid that I was looking for in the first place. Offered me a 10% discount if I go back to the store. I wish that 0 stars was an option. I've been a loyal customer at this store since it opened. This morning I came to the dispensary to pick something up. There were quite a few people in line, so I decided to place an online order and walk quite literally 20 feet to the coffee shop next door to grab a coffee while I waited. Within 20 seconds of me getting out of my car, a boot had been placed on it. The towing company informed me that there was nothing they could do unless somebody from the dispensary could prove that I was a customer. The dispensary employees informed me that I'm not considered a customer unless I go directly into their building after parking in the lot. If you make any other stops your car will be booted, $400 to remove it and $690 to be towed. It is two days after the tornado and I wasn't thinking and ran in to get a bagel at Panera. I was gone less than 10 minutes. I understand there are signs and own that I should've paid attention, but $400 to remove a boot seems predatory. I parked in the lot, went in for less than five mimutes, and when I came back out two guys who'd been hanging out in the parking lot had booted my car. For them to have had enough time to do so and be standing back where they started they mustve headed for my car the instant I rounded the corner. When I got back I got in my car and tried to back up, stopping when I heard the scraping and getting out to look, noticing the boot. One of the guys walked twoards me at this point, saying I needed to stop backing up, I was booted- no sh** dude-- and when I asked why because I was just inside, he responded "No you weren't." I reached in my car to show him the bag, after which he looked surprised and asked me if I'd gone anywhere else. No, I haven't. I have the receipt from seconds ago. He then called over the other guy to unlock the boot- I guess he approached me without the key because he assumed wed be having a different conversation- someone from inside the store walked over, and I drove away. Sucks because the actual employees are consistently super kind and helpful, but maybe go to a different location if you dont want your car towed while you shop. read more

Do NOT go here -- As other people are saying they have some shady deal going on with booting your car. I parked and grabbed my pre-ordered coffee from Panera across the lot before I was planning to go in to the dispo. But as soon as I walked out (literally less than a minute later bc my drink was just waiting for me on the counter) my car was booted. They have people sitting in the lot waiting to instantly boot peoples cars. Two extremely sketchy looking men told me its bc I was parked illegally as the lot was only for patrons of the dispo. I explained that I was just grabbing my drink first but that I genuinely was going to the dispo after and Ive purchased from this dispo multiple times before Im on file and all of that so I AM a patron but they basically said Sorry not sorry screw you give us $400. Yes, $400 for literally one minute. The whole thing and vibe of the guys was so weird I thought ok this has to be some scam, but the people inside the dispo pretty much said the same "Yeah sorry its a corporate policy $400 we have an atm inside you can use though." They have brought in a tow company to boot cars. They are charging $400 to remove the boot. They watch you leave the parking lot and immediately penalize you if you don't go directly into the weed store. If you cross the street to go to Panera first, you are no longer a customer and you still have to pay the $400 fine. The posted signs saying you must buy from the weed store before venturing elsewhere are only visible as you drive out of the lot. Meanwhile, the tow company has a huge tow truck parked illegally on Forest Park and is instructing people to park illegally in front of Panera with their flashers on. No worries though, the tow truck driver assured us they were friends with the STL cops and their parking illegally wasn't a problem. read more

This dispensary is predatory, staff is rude, and they are going out of their way to actively harm an already hurting community in the direct aftermath of a natural disaster by having someone actively waiting in their parking lot to boot people's cars and charging them an increased price to get it removed. No warning, no exceptions, no grace. People just lost their entire homes and hey are across the street from a grocery store that doesn't have great parking, understandably people are stressed and panicked and might miss a sign. I worked in a building across the street from Good Day Farm Dispensary in CWE. I can look out my office window and see activity down there. Also when leaving work I observed all the crooked things going on. When I tell you they are scammers!! I have watched them boot cars as soon as the person walks across the street. They don't even warn people that they can't park there, Yes there are signs but the writing is so small you can hardly read them. I had a patient come to my office that speaks Spanish only. Which means they can't read or understand English. I told him to hurry up and go down stairs to move his car before they tow it. By the time he got down there the car was booted. The owner or whoever runs the place tried to charge him $600 dollars to take car off the truck. My patient told the owner he only had $450 and the owner replied ''Ill take that''. I also found out that the tow truck driver is the brother of the owner. Look them up on Facebook they are crooks!! One day my co-worker and I attempted to count the amount of cars that were towed. There were so many that we lost count! They stand down there with tow truck on the lot scheming and waiting on people to park there with the boots in their hand. DO NOT COME HERE!!! There is some shady business happening with the parking lot. This morning I parked there for less than 5 min to get a drink across the street before i start looking to buy. By the time I walked back, i ended up not getting a drink bc the line didn't seem worth it at bread co and left immediately, i had a boot on my car that they said cost $400 to REMOVE?? Then, the only payment options were Zelle or cash... Keep in mind, there were three men on this lot sitting and waiting to boot people's cars. About 5 other cars who also had boots. Another lady pulled up next to me, had a similar plan as I thought I was not able to warn her bc I was dealing with the situation, THEN she also got a boot despite wanting to go in to buy edibles. This is not a good business to support and they are clearly unjustly scamming people. Yes, there is a sign, but to boot your customers who wanted to grab a drink to enjoy while they look at your selection? That's TERRIBLE. Also, all three men saw me and did not say one word to me to make sure I was aware of this "policy" and two of them continued to walk away from me in the middle of us talking. Only one guy in a bright vest was nice and sympathetic. The other two were total assholes and despite me PAYING THEM on venmo, they held me there for another 40 minutes bc they didn't know how venmo worked and couldn't "find" the payment. Who would've thought five minutes would've cost me my whole rent?? That's the policy good day farms supports, and they sure as hell don't have sympathy for their customers. The money also goes to good day farms who is over charging for boot removal, which is usually $50, but they charge $400! Do not support this place. If there were at least five others dealing with this TODAY, I can't imagine how many others have been scammed. Be careful, and no it isn't just the tow company, they made it very clear that GDF is in charge of this mostly. So I will never be shopping here AND you lost a customer today who did plan on buying from you.
