Your dog's safety is not their concern only making money. Find other options! I have used Camp…read moreBow Wow for two years for boarding, prior minor incidents...however, this last stay he was there for 8 days.... when I picked him up (545pm Saturday July 6th) he seemed ok, when I got home and I inspected his neck...he had severe skin irritation and his hair was clumped like dread locks...nobody did anything to help my dog likely his entire stay. In addition he also had an infection on his front paw (claw) ...that needed medical attention from his vet. While this was not life threatening, I had to wait til Monday to see a Vet. Needless to say, we will never return and I hope their careless ownership and management staff learns a valuable lesson. They took no responsibility and hid behind the waiver I signed. Oh, $55 a day for My dog to be ignored and thrown in a kennel. Heading back to Biscuit Garden or Green Level Kennel and planning his boarding well in advance. Cody is a Golden Retriever who is 100lbs and a gentle giant always happy to see people. I will not post the response from Camp Bow Wow because the assistant manager did apologize but otherwise offered nothing, I asked them to refund his $117 vet bill and they declined...but I will say that their ownership took no responsibility and claimed they were un reachable for a family emergency...awful convenient...I wonder how many times they use that excuse?? Stay Away if you love your pet.

Unleashed Cary - Dog Bath Area

‍Reactive dog owner here!…read more I'd like to start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at any of the Unleashed locations! The staff at each store are absolutely phenomenal. I frequent this store for their dog bathing station. General Unleashed info: I always call ahead to reserve a spot for a bath- you must do this to ensure they have time for you. Baths are reserved for an hour. They usually fill up quickly for a weekend spot but I've never had any issues with same day reservations so long as you are flexible. I also really appreciate that the staff has always been super considerate and understanding when I specify that my dog is reactive to both other dogs and some people. I usually let them know while he looks super approachable because he's so fluffy and cute () he's kind of a butthead with strangers (). They always respond with kindness and politely give him plenty of space when we come in- and also let us know if there are other dogs in the store when we come in! I cannot tell you how much reassurance this gives us as owners to a reactive dog- we appreciate this courtesy so much! Protip: buy the frequent bather card! $60 for 4 baths and your 5th is free! They link this to your phone number so you don't have to worry about losing the card and it is good for use at any of their locations! Cary specific: The bathing area is in the back of the store where they stock bigger items. There is a baby gate and curtain you can use for some privacy but as my dog is reactive and as the location of the bath is open to the public I do wish there was a door just for peace of mind. We have had instances where other curious customers try to peek in the bathing area which has caused my pup to freak out a bit. The room is a little tight but you can make do with two adults plus your pup. I would say the bathing station is a good size for dogs up to the 60-ish lb range. 70 and up might be a tight squeeze. The always are stocked with plenty of soap/conditioner/ear cleaning/grooming tools! TL;DR $15 self bathing station, well worth the price for not having to clean up/well stocked bathing area and very accommodating staff.

This place is the only one around where I can wash my pooch myself! Great set up and it's 15 bucks…read morefor an hour with all the supplies! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Dr Williams demonstrated a high level of competence and compassion. She explained things fully and offered treatments and suggestions that have greatly aided in our pets recovery. My maltipoo had patellar (knee cap) surgery this year and had trouble using his legs normally after surgery. He is very sensitive to pain and she helped me keep him comfortable and did physical therapy rehabilitation to help him learn to use his legs correctly. I could feel the muscles in his hind legs change over the weeks as his strength improved and he was not walking with a slight hunch in his back. She showed my exercises I could to with him at home. I feel if you are spending a lot for orthopedic surgery, this is a great investment to make sure recovery goes well! The surgery would have been worthless if he hasn't had an effective recovery. I can still call her for tips, advice, or follow up appointments when he is having a hard time but it is so nice to see him back to running around comfortably. The surgeon had left me with very little follow up care so thank go I had Dr. Williams! She has also worked with my horse who had some serious back and hind end soreness. It was amazing to see that at the first visit he was so sore at his acupuncture points and by the end of a series the points were treated enough that he was calm. His performance has greatly improved and I can palpate a difference in his soreness! It is very nice they are mobile as it would be very difficult to haul my horse and my dog gets nervous when I take him to a clinic. Highly recommend!
