Came in there with a great attitude, kind, happy, nice. Immediately saw the worker was in a bad mood. Extremely passive aggressive, asked him what flavor blue jam was & he started getting annoyed saying i dont understand your question. So i asked again and he just kept staring at me. Hes like i dont know what you want me to say its blue jam. Being a total jerk, told him i wasnt being rude so i dont know what the problem is. He doesnt say anything just stares at me. Ive been coming here for almost 10 years now and never had a problem. I was going on vacation & was going to buy at least $400 worth of juice/coils. I walked out with 1 bottle of juice. Im going to a different vape shop to get my bulk. Genuinely one of the worst most obnoxious experiences ive ever had. Great staff, I just went in for my first foray into vaping and my first set up ever. I had my heart set on an Innokin iTaste VV (variable voltage) 3.0 battery, a Kanger Pro III Pro Tank various accessories and a juice. They didn't have the color I wanted in stock for the battery mod. The salesperson who helped me; Leo I think was his name, let me purchase the show case model after making 100% sure beyond the shadow of any doubt that it was a brand new working quality product. Then I needed to get juices, the person over at the juice bar (I didn't catch his name but rest assured he's a cool dude too) was really helpful with getting me rolling. He explained how the taste station worked and was really understanding when I accidentally spilled a sample. After all was said and done he helped me get the juice I wanted in the strength I wanted. I only mentioned what I went in to get, I left out the fact that they also have a huge selection. Standard starter kits, intermediate mods and then they have beginner to advanced level customization options. Not to mention they have a wide variety of accessories. Tons of different carry cases, lanyards, drip tips. They have whatever you need to make your set up yours. All in all I have to say: Good Guy Vapes, AWESOME store with phenomenal staff, and they have great prices; very competitive and the atmosphere is chill as you could want. This place is a literally a scam I pay for the same product a total of 18.76 including all of the taxes and whatever bs NJ nic tax they say is included. Well not today today the total was 21 and some change. I asked the guy what the reason for this was and he said the nic tax. Been doing business with them since they were in a garage in Paterson. For lack of a better word, they are Good Guys, hence the name. I remember back in the day when they first opened like 2 years ago, they used to text me when they got in new toys or juice flavors. Back then everything could fit in a single small glass display case. Not so much now. It's always refreshing when someone starts a small little business, works hard, makes people happy and needs to expand. I had been smoking logic e-cigs for the past year and a half, and was pretty tired of them, the monotony, the cost and the fact that they break down and die quickly. Recently, one of my friends got in to vaping, and my girl decided she wanted to quit smoking. With all of these factors moving, my friend decided to take a group of us to GGV this past Sunday.. let me tell you, I couldn't be happier. My girlfriend has completely stopped smoking cigarettes within 3 days, I no longer have to waste money/time on logic crap, and we have this awesome store within minutes of my place. Their house juices are AWESOME (Nuport and Jersey Fruit are my current faves) and fairly priced. Their premium juice selection is out of this world. I was so happy here, that i brought another friend on Tuesday, who was trying to transfer away from actual cigarettes, and just last night, he tossed his last pack, in favor of vaping. The staff were EXTREMELY helpful and cool, my first visit was nearly two hours of shooting the shit, and learning all about vaping. The guys here set me up with a Vision Spinner 650mAh battery with an Aspire 2.2 mL tank. My only regret, is not getting a bigger battery! The great part is, that they are priced so well, my girl went back and purchased another Tank, to be able to swap out flavors on the go. From my two experiences here in one week, once when they were packed, and once when it was dead, there is no better staff around, and anyone who had a bad experience is most likely a GIANT DOUCHE.. these guys are the best. cant wait to go back, buy more juice, and start getting into mods and all the fancy stuff read more

These are thoughts based solely on my personal experience with the store and their staff. Some good things about this store... 1. Good customer service and friendly staff. Some are more enlightened and interactive then others when it comes to discussion and their thoughts on personal suggestions. 2. Wide assortment of ejuice and moderately priced, not grossly overpriced like other vape stores. 3. Good assortment of clone RDAs for newbies wanting to start safely vape drippers, without shelling out $50-$100 on an authentic RDA. 4. Some good authentic box mods, starter kits, etc. Much more geared towards the entry level sub-ohm'er who wants to buy a starter kit with all needs included, rather than buy different mods, tanks, drip tips, etc. 5. Wide assortment of tanks and are pretty well stocked with the different coils for each. Bad things... 1. Although friendly and nice, the staff are kind of dumb. I asked about an RTA in stock, the person replied that "they" are still testing it to see if "they" like it. Mind you, customers are not "they". 2. Over the phone, they all seem to be preoccupied except the tall, skinny guy with the beard and hat(forgot his name). He's on point with focusing on what I'm telling him. And great in store customer service from him. 3. The short girl that works there with black hair and glasses has some customer service issues. She wouldn't even offer a bag to me and I bought 4 bottles of juice. She took 10 minutes to acknowledge I was even in the store and it was just me and two kids sitting on bar stools. She was busy building a coil for some 19 year old sophomore at Clifton high school. Hope this gives some info. I've been going to this store off and on for roughly a year and a half since I stopped smoking. They are good people, just need to trim the fat and organize their customer service a bit better. read more

Even though I started vaping a few years ago, I never really visited B&M stores. I started and used cigarette look alikes for a long time, and when I upgraded to buying clearomizers, variable voltage batteries, and custom e-liquids I mostly shopped online. Having visited Good Guy Vapes a few times now, I thoroughly regret not trying B&M stores sooner. I've been to a few other B&M's in the North Jersey area, and none of them offer the great prices and selection at this location, nor the knowledge and friendliness of it's staff. Good Guy Vapes lives up to its name in troves. The prices on many things I bought were cheaper than what I was paying online even BEFORE the discounts they offered me, and the staff was extremely attentive and answered any and all questions I had. On my last visit, I wanted to get a mechanical mod as a birthday present to myself. The two gentlemen working, Dave and Dave, both spent over an hour helping me put together the right mod, batteries, charger, wiring, wicks, EVERYTHING to help me get started. Not only did they help me put together the kit, they actually showed me how to set up the atomizer and use the mod, and I left the store an hour and a half later with a ready-to-go mod that was miles better than what I could have put together on my own. I did a comparison when I got home to see what I would have paid had I bought online - I saved over $50 through Good Guy Vapes. tl;dr - Amazing staff, great selection, better than online prices. I've been to a couple vape stores over the past couple years as I have been in and out of vaping for a while now. This store is just amazing. Really no reason to go anywhere else and from the looks of the business that they do in the store many people know that this is where you go for a great experience. After visiting this store I have one regret - that I ordered a bunch of stuff online the week before, and I'm STILL waiting for it. Would have gladly paid the in store prices (which are somewhat higher than online, but not too much so, especially once you consider having things in hand vs paying shipping, and waiting). The store is pretty easy to find, with a nice bit sign, though also very easy to pass. If you do, just turn around, and come back. Inside, there is plenty of space, with large uncluttered counters, with lots of mods, tanks, etc,. They also have a very large selection of liquids. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. I didn't feel the least bit rushed, unwelcome, or out of place, as is often the case with stores that have niche product or clientele. Cant get better service. I bought my Magnito and RSST from here... (i didn't even know what these were like 2 months ago). They taught me all about coiling, wrapping, whicking and cleaning... Of course you can buy much simpler ones but either way this is the spot. I travel 20 minutes at least once every week or so to go say hello and clean out my tanks and buy new juice. I was honestly blown away by the customer service at this vape shop. I walked in with very little knowledge about vaping, and brought in a vape I bought off the internet. I explained that I had problems with it leaking, and Mario helped me out by telling me why and explained how to fix the problem. He was very knowledgable about vapes and explained the differences in the pieces that go together. Mario helped me pick out an atomizer to fit my current batteries, and even threw in 2 bottles of juice for free! So this whole vaping this was confusing to me but Jason at Good Guy Vapes took his time with me and answered all of my questions. He knew I was new to it and I was not looking to spend a ton of money and he didn't try to up sell me anything. He set me up with a limitless marquee mod kit that has an internal battery. This thing is awesome. Smaller than other mod boxes and very powerful. It works great and he hit my price range exactly. I checked online at other retailers for the set up that I have and Good Guy Vapes is cheaper than them. Plus they had a special yesterday on Valentine's Day, 15% off starter kits and 20% all juices. Who can complain about that!!! The only down fall is that you cannot vape indoors there so every time you want to try a new juice you have to step outside. So for customer service and discounts as well as happy hour Tuesday (20% off all juices) I would highly recommend this place. Stopped by here a few weeks ago because a friend told me they carry Cuttwood brand vape flavors. Their flavors are awesome! I purchased Cuttwood Unicorn Milk and a few other flavors. Very top notch and much better quality then what other vape stores offer. I am definitely coming back to good guys to buy the flavors. Only problems are you can't vape in store so trying flavors before purchasing is tough and the store gets really packed or at least the time I have been there. read more

Went in yesterday after being a customer for years here. My girlfriend wanted to get into vaping spoke to one of the guys Asian guy with glasses, short slim build. He gave us the wrong with Vape pen batter for a aspire tank. After saying multiple times to us "these go together" suffice to say after setting it up in the car it wasn't the right fit. We went back in and another guy helped us out with no issues and gave us the right Vape pen. My only bad experience here but other than that besides the Bayonne location this is my favorite store. read more
