Doorman was great. No cover. Drinks were around $15 each. I bought one for a a dancer who didn't even say "thank you." Supposedly this club has the same ownership (and possibly senior management) as the poorly run papermoon club in northern Virginia. That club has multiple dancers running around whom are dishonest, unethical and even violent and management is aware of them but continues to allow them to work there. The only redeeming factor for this place is the much larger variety of dancers, and no entrance fee required. However some people have been told food or drinks are required In which case it isnt a free entrance fee. But that could be a hustle used by servers who may get a cut of anything they sell. Like the other place, good guys has started scanning photo ID since sometime in 2022. It's very likely their scanner takes photos of all scanned photo IDs and stores it in their computer system. We don't know exactly how securely that information is stored, so be on your best behavior here since they have scanned your ID and staff may be able to access it. While they do offer private dances now, these aren't the same as lapdances. DC clubs dont allow touching or lapdances, and there's sign's saying no touching allowed. So, if a dancer claims you can touch or get a lapdance, you are opening yourself up to the risk of being scammed, or breaking DC strip club policy if you do actually receive a lapdance. At the other place, supposedly cameras in lapdance booths weren't recording the activity. It's possible and likely that it's the same here. You would have no recourse here if anything goes wrong in a private dance or if you were expecting a lapdance but got an airdance, because there aren't lapdances being offered to begin with! Prices are the same as PM; $150 for 10 minutes, $200 for 15 minutes, $400 for 30 minutes which includes a free $10+ bottle of champagne. There are three stages and the girls come around asking people for tips or may say thank you for watching. It happens at some clubs but you don't actually have to tip, but it can get you more attention. Northern Virginia doesn't really have options for lapdance clubs, DC rules dont allow touching or lapdances, so your best bet would be to drive the extra miles to Maryland and Baltimore. DC clubs are fine if you just want to watch dancers on stage or talk to them and try to date them. Even though a few DC clubs have started offering private dances these are just meant to be an up close private dance not a lapdance. read more

Great club! Open basically everyday from 12pm to 2 or 3 am! (Except sundays 4pm to2 am) This is a STRIP club! While there is no drink minimum, you do have to purchase A DRINK. You really cant expect to walk into a club where you know girls will be NAKED & not buy a drink or tip. Dancers are providing entertainment. Lots of girls do wonderful sets & pole tricks. Ive traveled to many clubs & good guys is the most intimate/personal one. While lap dances are not offered, the girls are always open to all sorts of conversations. Amazed to find this entertainment in Georgetown. It's not the best but you get what you pay for. After visiting an establishment downtown, we hopped a cab and asked for the next "whiskey" bar so to speak. He brought us to Good Guys. Surprised to find it on the upper end of Wisconsin Ave past all the posh shopping. No line no cover and not not that busy on a random week night. Monday nights are busier as we found out. 3 stages and a decent flow of dancers. Some were good but more were below average. They try hard though. I stopped into GoodGuys last week for the first time in awhile and found a great array of dancers (e.g., Joy and Marley) with shorter one song sets that allowed the best dancers to cycle around sooner. The one thing that ruined the entire visit for me was the loud acting-out and attention-seeking behavior of drink fetcher Ginger. I call her that because she doesn't dance and that, it seems, leaves her shorted on attention from guests and paying customers. This club has been around for a long time and has come under new management/ownership. A short while ago it was a shadow of its former self before the pandemic and the last owners. It has, however, come back into its own with a remodel and the same inviting atmosphere. The only thing missing is a functional menu and food during the day. I've never actually been to Good Guys but my husband has. You might be wondering - why in the world is a wife whose husband came to this establishment writing a 5 star review?! Well it seems my husband had a nice time with his friends here. We live out of state and when he arrived at the airport for his flight home he realized he didn't have his ID or credit card. Panic ensued and we quickly realized the last place he used his credit card was at Good Guys. As my dumb husband was trying to get through airport security without his ID, I called Good Guys and left a message. I was quickly called back by the owner or manager (can't remember which) and they confirmed they had both of his cards. Within days both the ID and credit card showed up at our house via mail along with the receipt of his purchases. Husband made it home - although missed his original flight in first class and flew home in the last row middle seat on a flight hours later. He seems to think it was worth it all. The party planner of the night decided to take her to Good Guys, a friendly neighborhood strip club in Georgetown. As soon as I walked in my glasses steamed up immediately -- not because of the smoking hot girls on the stage but because the air conditioning seemed to be broken. This is one, hot, steamy club! A few observations: - To the party planner's credit, Good Guys did play a lot of eighties music. - The dancers had to wipe the mirrors down themselves after every dance. It is between two saloon-style doors which made it fun to enter but did not seem very safe. I've read all the reviews good and bad and there's some truth In all of them. But the reality is, you have to look at it over a broad span of time. I've been going there for over thirty years, once or twice a year every other year, and I can say unequivically, it does its job. It lets guys look at women's naked bodies in a safe environment. Now and then someone might have a bad experience, as the reviews illustrate, but overall it's good. The food is varied and decent. The drinks aren't that expensive if you choose carefully. The service is fine if you allow for a server having a bad day occasionally. The music is loud but so what. Women patrons are just as welcome as males. Security can seem overbearing even to a 78 year old fart like me. But remember, their job is to prevent trouble and provide a space where everyone- entertainers, customers and staff- can feel safe. That's what they do. Yes, there have been a very small number of incidents over the years but management always makes changes and comes back better. That's what is important to me. "Gentlemen", I've been going to Good Guys for the last 15 years or so; and have been in there every day of the week and every time of the day. Things have sometimes changed for the better and sometimes for the worse. The talent here waxes and wanes but generally could be described more as the girl next door or the crackwhore next door rather than the supermodel or hometown hottie. You will see that sometimes they are old washed up dancers who used to be hot and cute or you might find the ones that didn't fit or didn't make the cut in the other clubs. Most of the girls are tatted up. Even though they aren't super hot, a lot of them have sex appeal/energy (despite being naked duh!). Food is decent and the drink prices have gone up. Since there are no lapdancing in DC, the girls work for those singles and tend to pay more attention to regulars or guys who will tip them for their time off stage. Some of them are appreciative and others are more demanding and feel entitled to your money. The bouncers have always been egotistical and brash - borderline assholes at times depending on their mood I suppose. I go to Good Guys when I want something a little more trashy. I've gotten a few phone numbers out of there but the girls never follow through. Some of them might latch on if you are a sugar daddy but in general they are super flaky. I've never heard of nor experienced anything on the dirtier side of the business as the management and other girls are rather keen to any propositions that come up. If you are looking for that anyhow, the stripclub is really a horrible place to go. All in all, if you are bored and want to watch the game and see the sexy tatted girl from the wrong side of the tracks dance around the pole, this is a good place to go. I could be biased because I'm far from a regular to gentlemen's clubs that have exotic dancing unless someone invites me to go, but Good Guys Club is pretty good. It's not the kind of place that sticks out in this part of DC, nor is it high class, but the women who work here come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and I see that as a plus to this place. When you walk in, you realize it's not the biggest strip club in the world but there aren't too many large places in Georgetown. There's about three dancing platforms that the dancers perform on and it's relatively clean. Security is pretty good too, so no one will get too handsy on the dancers. No contact is permitted in this club, so while it is a strip club, no lapdances are permitted or special one-on-one rooms are located here. Some like that for the dancers' sake, some don't. That'll really come down to what you personally prefer. The biggest reason I'm giving four stars for Good Guys is for the variety of women here and I personally enjoy that. The women here are realistic and they all are able to flaunt what they've got. Whether you're into women who have more curve to their shape, thin women, or women who look like glamour models, they pretty much have it. If you're looking for women who look like they model for Maxim or Playboy though, you could be disappointed. The variety of dancers that are here also complement the clientele that visit Good Guys. While men are typically the brunt of people who visit, men who are professionals down to the college kid and even women who are out on a girls' night out come by too. Of course, there's some men who shouldn't even be always at exotic dancing establishments, but that comes with the territory. One last bit for Good Guys is that the dancers here when not actually dancing will sometimes come by and sit down and talk with you, and many of them are pretty cool and friendly too. Granted they, for the most part, won't be all over you but they respect you if you show the same respect back. I'd recommend Good Guys for just about anyone especially if you don't regularly go to gentlemen's clubs and would like to try something new. I am "lucky" enough to live close to two DC strip clubs and I hadn't yet ventured in to either of them until this past Friday night. I was immediately carded by a very large bouncer as soon as I walked in. There were three stages along the length of the room and the girls would rotate among them. Out of the 10ish girls I saw that night, I would say that only one or two of them were really all that impressive. The crowd was pretty diverse: creepy old men, creepy young men, drunken frat guys, obvious pimps and their hooker dates, and us. The drink prices were insane and the waitress that was trying to sell shots was really pushy (and her outfit was soooo not flattering). The girls would come up to all of the tables but weren't exactly friendly. Security was super tight, as we saw them "escort" a guy out very very quickly. Much better than the food at a fast food restaurant or a buffet. Even if you're not into the "entertainment," go there for the food. My wife took me to Good Guys at lunch time for a birthday surprise. She teaches pole dancing and was thinking about performing on amateur night, but once she saw the platforms. She said, "it looks like those women are in cages." The three stages don't have enough room to do any pole tricks. Each stage is about four feet long and five feet high. Instead of one pole in the middle, there are two poles set in the front corners where the women perform their routines. The moves in their routines aren't what my wife teaches. The men (half were senior citizens) stand right next to the stage and the dancers wiggle their pussies in the men's faces for ten seconds, then the men will toss a single dollar bill on the stage, which the women pick up after their 20 minute "shift:" is over. After seeing this, my wife doesn't want to perform on amateur night, and I don't want her to either. I'd never seen a strip show before and it was exciting and boring at the same time. We were there about one hour. The music was very loud. There were three naked women on three stages, and three more half-dressed women, who'd finished their shifts talking to the customers. When their shift was over, the women would come down, and change with the other three women, who went onto the stages and quickly removed what little they were wearing. About half the women we saw were in good shape, but there were two or three that were a bit on the heavy side. All were young, college age or a bit older. read more

This was a decent spot to take my friend on his birthday. Friendly crowd and the layout is good - a long stretch with three stages so you can take your pick which one you watch. The girls were all cute and many could do some pretty impressive acrobatics. After their dance, the girls would walk around and half-heartedly shake your hand. This wasn't a shake-down for more money, no... even if you never give a stripper a single buck **cough Kathleen cough**, they'll get you back in drink prices. Domestic beer was $7.75 and imports were $8.75, so I was a bit miffed to be charged $8.75 for a Yuengling.
