They never stopped moving, took care of all of my belongings, even moved a few things for me that they were not taking. I can not say enough about how great these guys were! I book ed them paid the 100 dollar deposit over the phone. First the movers were given the wrong address then when they found out I might have an entry problem with the landlord they cancelled. We used them in 2017 to move across town. The guys were awesome. Loaded everything up and unloaded in 4-5 hours. We just hired them again to move 4 houses down the street. It took over 8 hours! After they left we checked the old house and they left a bunch of boxes and furniture. I called back the next morning and they did send a crew to finish up but I felt taken advantage of because I tipped these guys as well. I later found several pieces of furniture, our new front door, and newly finished floors all scratched up. I filled out a survey they sent me and let them know the issues. Honestly will never use them again or cannot recommend them. It's a shame because I know they have some solid workers that I've worked with on the past. read more

The move was disappointing because movers unloaded everything at the door instead of in each room. As well I was charged 2 hrs setup time. Called office and response was nothing they could do. And if I want movers to return and setup, will be charged again. I would never recommend this service. read more

The good thing is they are quick to book. However, I had 2 pieces of furniture and a lamp damaged. I was also told by a neighbor that they are pretty rough moving past clients into the building. They were also late. read more

Just don't. If you have a terminal cancer and have to leave town quickly and efficiently for treatment, THESE ARE NOT the people to use. There are plenty of other moving companies that cost less and do a much better, efficient, and consistent job. Our 1 day job turned into 2 and still wasn't done. What they tell you will happen is not what actually happens. 1st day went well, or so we thought. Odd things happened but it was a quick move. The movers introduced themselves. My husband need radiation and chemo in NC and we were selling a house. We were leaving for NC and treatment within 24 of the move. Our move was into a storage unit. Our boxes do not have tops (they over pack the boxes using the the lids to extend size of box). Keep in mind there were not unusual shaped items than in the past had been packed in boxes. We had already ordered moving boxes from Uline. They were going to use those. They did not. Instead over packing and leaving boxes open that are in storage. Yes, open boxes in a storage unit. When I spoke with Jordan he assured me this was normal. In our previous moves that was not acceptable and the movers even told us they could not move open boxes. So we are in Durham, NC. We have paid 2,500 plus 200 in tips over two days and still have unmoved items. We were initially told they took off money for not having the key to the storage unit we left with them and they had to wait for their office to bring them. They also said they took off for the china boxes (we had no china nor fragile or Knick Knacks. Oh, they did leave moving paper, as in 3 rolls if it. One in its plastic lying in one room of the house. Another in my living room not in it wrapping but all spread out in and empty room. Then the third was outside and blew all over our yard and neighbors. When we were told about the second day, we were told it would be less than 1/2 the time of the first job as 3/4 of the stuff was gone. Rooms empty just a little left. We even had a local volunteer outreach come and take some of the remaining furniture. The second day job was longer and $400 more than the 1st. The crew from the first day was not there for the second day. They did not introduce themselves. They spent a good bit of time not packing the truck. They did not fill up the truck. Now we have to figure out how to get the rest out of our house with us in Durham, NC having finished week 1 of chemo and radiation. Jordan assured me they wanted to resolve this. The amount mentioned above reflects 300.00 off. Jordan said it was a communication issue. He blamed my mother and 19 year old son as being confused. My mother and son have stories identical to each other but are no longer in the same environment where they could even compare stories. I offered to have him talk to my mom or to my son as he kept saying it was third party conversation. Did my son or mother leave drink bottles all over my house and yard? Did my mother and son leave their unused and extra packing materials or make them do that? No! He did say that offer another day they guys could move us, possibly reducing the hourly rate, but still not able to guarantee it all would be gone. He said he he would want a good crew and he couldn't guarantee having one available. So if you have read this all the way. We also had boxes dropped during unloading. So now I am in Durham, NC with my stuff in Macon, GA in storage with NO WAY of know if our stuff is damaged. If items are okay being in open boxes in July & August in a storage unit. Again, Good Guys come across that way initially, but save yourself a summer of worry and look elsewhere. read more

When moving day arrived I was worried about everything going smoothly. The movers arrived on time and jumped out the truck ready to roll. We were able to move my entire two bedroom apartment over to my new house in 2 hours which was insane. Definitely have to give a shout-out to Rondarius, Mr. Gary, and Jerrel for showing up and never letting their feet off the gas from start to finish. I will most definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to move their entire life in a speedy fashion. I moved some items from an apartment to my house and then the remainder to a storage place. They shared concerns they identified from my previous move from New York City and went over and beyond to set up my furniture as it should be done. We moved from Macon to McDonough over a two day move. The guys were very pleasant and in turn we bought the crew breakfast and dinner to show our appreciation. Four things unfortunately soured our move. 1) our quote was $250 more than originally quoted. 2) large scratch on desk and hole in wall (things happen but no one pointed it out the desk until we noticed later that night). 3) dresser was left sideways in a room missing it's legs. 4) after swearing the legs were in the garage, the next day we received a call saying they left them in their truck. I then drove 45 min down to Macon and 45 mins back to pick up dresser legs. He offered to bring them the following week but we were kinda done. The guys were very professional and on time but we decided to switch companies for the following week's move of a storage unit. read more

Awful moving company! This company scratched my kitchen floors so bad they have to be redone. They also refused to help fix them!!

Setup an appointment. Estimator was a no show. Called and they had no record of the appointment. Was told that an estimator we be at my house just after lunch. Once again they were a no show. How can you keep track of people's stuff during a move if you can't even track your appointments. How about a little honesty if your not interested. What a waste of time. read more

The biggest complaint I have about this company is that I emailed them to inform them that almost $300 is missing from my purse. I did not get any sort of response from them at all about it. So someone on their staff is not trustworthy at all. We had two moves from them and they worked really hard and moved quickly on both moves. They wrapped and protected my antique furniture; however, on the first move, they left an item at my house that was factored into the weight and did not compensate for it on the second move. And they left an item in the truck on the first move. Luckily, I had a second move so was able to get it without too much trouble, but still...So if you want a company that will work hard and get your stuff moved quickly, but you don't mind not trusting them or having things left behind be sure to use Good Guys. read more

These guys did a great job. I liked that someone always picked up the phone right away when I called with questions. I was looking for a good local company that wasn't just a call center dispatching workers that did not have a vested interest in doing a good job.
