Insanely good food and generous portions. Some of the best jerk chicken I've ever had. Will 100% be reordering.

This spot is a Bushwick staple. They've updated the name and logo since then, but the food hasn't changed at all. It's straightforward fried food--perfect after a night out or when you've got the munchies. Staff is always friendly and service is quick. I've never actually eaten inside, always take it to go. Only downside is everything goes into paper boxes while it's still super hot, so by the time you get home the fries are kinda soggy. Still, solid, no-frills food to soak up some alcohol.

This is a neighborhood gem. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had the lamb platter ($13) and fried chicken drumstick and thigh special deal (4pc for $6) The service was great, accommodating and very friendly!! The lamb platter came with rice, fries, salad, and soda. For $13 thats a good deal in my opinion. Not a huge fan of salad and was given the option to add a little more fries or rice into the platter with no extra cost. The food was delicious, made to order and not just scooped into a container. The lamb was juicy and flavorful, the basmati rice had its cumin flavor (in which is the real deal). I dont understand how people find yellow rice at those famous halal food carts to be tasty. The shoe string fries were flavorful as well but got a little soggy on the way home. The white sauce tasted like taziki sauce without the cucumbers. You can see that they used herbs in it and not just a plain white sauce. The red sauce is super hot and definitely holds a kick to it. I usually have my red and white sauce on the platter but the The cashier and cook recommended to place the red sauce in a small sauce container on the side rather than having it drizzled on top of the platter! Appreciate that recommendation. The fried chicken was flavorful with a thin coat of batter and still crispy when we got home. The chicken was juicy and paired really well with the hot sauce and rice platter. There are many options on the menu in which you can even buy a single drum stick. Overall experience was amazing and would recommend. Thinking about trying the chicken platter next time or wonder if they would do a combo platter. But you have other options like fish and shrimp.

I saw when this place opened up last year, but I had just eaten and I just didn't get another…read moreopportunity to visit until now. It's near a clothing store that I try to visit whenever I'm in the city, but sometimes getting over there is tricky, haha. It's a commitment because it's in the opposite direction from where most other things I visit are. Well I can say is that this is a gem hidden in plain sight. And what I have observed as a heavy Latino neighborhood is this Korean stand that has some outstanding Korean fried chicken. I thought I was just going to get some wings and call it a day, but I ended up going with a sandwich instead. There were a few options, and I decided to do the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich. It's set up to be a to-go scenario, with just four stools and very little table space. But it was raining so hard, so I decided to put my umbrella down and hang out while waiting. The Chef is very friendly and I enjoyed him sharing how he came to establish the stand and his time in the restaurant industry. It was maybe about 10 to 15 minutes before my food was ready, and it was packaged quite nicely. It was tucked in a bag ready for me to hit the train and get it home safely, but I decide to unpackage everything and eat it at one of the empty stools. The sandwich came in a small to go container that was stapled, which is a nice touch. The sandwich also had an option to come with fries, or sweet potato fries for an extra charge. Either one comes with what the chef calls smoky ketchup, and I was eager to try. I got the sweet potato fries came in a separate container and the ketchup was literally taped to the top of it so nothing could happen to it. I loved that. I had to try the chicken on its own first, and I was immediately wowed by the crunch and crispiness of the texture, and don't get me started on the flavor. I don't think I have ever had Korean fried chicken that also had corn flakes to add to the texture. But then once I had all the elements of the sandwich together, including the slaw, aioli, etc., I was quite satisfied. Now, the bun was smaller than the chicken piece, but luckily it didn't all fall into an insane mess. The sweet potato fries were piping hot and seasoned so well, they didn't even need the Smoky ketchup. But the smoky ketchup was an experience on its own too. I was not expecting to come to this little stand and have an elevated sandwich and french fry experience. Looks like they've been around for about a year now, and I wish Chef Sung Park continued success. If I lived in the area, I would do my best to stop by at least on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I need to figure out what I'm going to try next time.

The owner Chef Park manages his small business serving crispy Korean fried chicken!…read more I tried the fried chicken sandwich and some pieces of chicken of each marinade: soy garlic and the hot & sweet. The fried chicken sandwich is SUPER crispy because of the corn flake-based breading Chef uses. Really great flavor and crunch. The chicken portion is generous to the point where a lot of the chicken meat is sticking out of the bun. Chef Park, who takes orders and talks to his customers via the small window that opens to the sidewalk, is very open to feedback as well as sharing about his background and cooking methods/decisions for Lucky Chix's menu. He shared how some of his sauces include 12 or more ingredients to give it so much flavor!! There are a few seats in the front of the small shop. I recommend eating the chicken as fresh as possible, so you can eat a quick bite at the ledge on-site or do takeout/delivery
