Seemed really nice and she seemed to really want to build a business and I supported that. I learned the hard way. I had Abby watch my 2 dogs back in 2019 while I was out of state. I had a camera on so I was able to watch (when I had the chance). Throughout the week, my pets were neglected. Did not show up when she was supposed to. Left my pets for hours and hours. I was very upset. Seeing more recent 1-star reviews does not surprise me. Pay attention to the 1-star reviews. They are the most recent very accurate. All of the 5-star reviews are from when the previous owners of Good Mojo owned the business. Abby is not responsible, full of excuses and I would never trust her or her crew with my pets. My husband and I only have great things to say about Kim and Trish at Good Mojo. We have two wonderful cats, and we travel relatively frequently. The first time we used Good Mojo, they stopped by our place to meet the kitties and get very detailed instructions on caring for them. They took such good care of the cats, sending pictures of the cats playing, eating and enjoying the attention. We've used them many times over the past year, and during our most recent trip, Good Mojo really went above and beyond. While we were away, we had to move the cats out of the house for a short period of time. Good Mojo handled everything perfectly, and it was such a relief to know that the cats were in good hands and that everything would run smoothly. Went out of town for Christmas and left our black lab and 2 cats at home. Good Mojo came over 3 times per day, and provided EXCELLENT CARE for all three of our furry family members. The staff member freshened the water and topped off their food, and even cleaned the litter box on each and every visit. For our lab, she took him out for a lengthy walk once per day, and on the other two times let him out in the back yard to run around for a bit. Notably, they sent summary notes and pics after each visit, which we really appreciated as we felt like we stayed really connected to our beloved pets. And in advance of our leaving town, the pet sitter came to the house and took copious notes on where to find everything in the house, and memorialized our various care protocol instructions. My dog Rigby loves going out for long walks with Good Mojo. Kim is an expert with dogs and understands their needs very well. Good Mojo is very convenient and affordable. I trust Kim follow to enter my home when I am not there to pick-up Rigby to take to the park. Rigby gets to stay at the park for hours which works great for my long days or when I have night classes. Stella is a big girl so Kim and Trish do a phenomenal job at getting Stella mid day for doggy adventures! They take her swimming, long walks, and whatever else Stella may need. These women are super accommodating and flexible. They have watched Stella over long weekends and always send updates and pictures. We decided to find a new cat sitter after our last experience with Good Mojo. The average visit time over Thanksgiving week was 6 minutes which seems fast to feed, water, clean two litter boxes and give our elderly cat her medicine. When we got back a full litter genie bag was left sitting out and not even tied shut and the pet water fountain that holds a half gallon was empty. This was the third time where we've had issues (the previous two were due to the litter box not being cleaned at all for at least two days, but it could have been longer), though I'll admit that we only complained once and were given a credit instead of a refund. Also don't expect them to clean up hairballs or any other messes that your pets may cause. When I noticed that it was the owner that had been by that week, rather than one of the rotating cast of employees, I decided that it was no longer worth giving the benefit of the doubt. After using a new service our two cats were much lest stressed when we made it back. I wish I had made the decision to switch much sooner; Good Mojo lost their namesake vibe when the original owners sold the company. Maybe they're good with dogs but should in no way be trusted to care for your cats. read more

With Good Mojo, you get everything that you would expect from a quality pet sitting service, including scheduled visits, mail pickup, watering plants, etc. But the highlights for us include: * Texted photos of our cat - such a simple idea, but such a nice gesture to remind us that our cat is happy and healthy while we're away. * Trained in cat CPR - what?! (am i a bad pet parent for not being trained in cat CPR?) hopefully it never comes to that, but it's nice peace of mind... * Occasional treats - we got a nice bag of chocolate peanut brittle for the holidays. I would like to insist that these become standard--delicious! But setting aside the standards and the extras, the real key is that, when we return home, we find our cat content. My husband and I have 5 pets (2 cats, 3 dogs, 2 puppies) and after speaking with our vet it seemed like a good idea from a cost perspective as well as potty training the puppies to get a pet sitter. Kim and Trish wanted to have a first meeting as well as 2 meetings with the pets without us before we went on our vacation to be sure everyone got along alright. I LOVED the daily texted pictures and update on all the pets! But the absolute best review would have to come from our oldest dog, Decca. Kim had told me they were going to be at the Nashville Pet Expo, so Decca and I went to check it out. We have used three different pet sitting services for our semi-frequent "staycations", and have always felt, meh......it's pet sitting for goodness sake, what is there to rave about? OUTSTANDING PET CARE SERVICE! Kim and Trish go out of their way to care for our puppy Koa. Recently, Koa was attacked by another dog while my husband and I were taking her for a walk. We had to take to her to the ER that night and had a treatment plan for the next month issued by the veterinarian. Kim and Trish took exceptional care of her while she was healing. They were attentive, had a flexible schedule to accommodate the emergency, and were pro's when it came to changing out bandages.
