Procedure prices…read more I'm so done with UC. I was trying to schedule a procedure recently and they wouldn't tell me what my cost obligation would be. I refused to schedule the procedure until I knew what it would cost me out of pocket. The staff just kept cluelessly saying "well...it's usually covered..." Not good enough folks. After several back and forth phone calls trying to establish prices one person finally told me they wouldn't tell me the price until after I chose a date because procedures are different prices on different days. I asked if I could choose the most affordable day for me and they said no. So it wasn't "probably going to be completely covered", huh? So I have to hope I randomly choose a day I can afford? I chose to not do the procedure with them. This isn't the first time UC has been a headache about procedures. They once CANCELLED a surgery of mine at the last minute (less than 24 hours before) because some fool in the office misread paperwork and thought I was uninsured. I was insured, everything was approved, they just screwed it up because they had no idea what they're doing. People at my work rearranged vacations so I could fit in this surgery and UC got me in so much trouble. It was a diagnostic surgery that they delayed. So my diagnosis was delayed. Then they lost all of the records of the surgery. The photos, notes, and reason for my diagnosis, all "missing". They still had the bill though, so for years I had to pay for a surgery that supposedly didn't happen with supposedly no results. So, they delayed my diagnosis and severely delayed my treatment. I have over a dozen more examples. Don't bother with UC, go anywhere else.

The corona virus is big right now and I've had cold symptoms for a week so I'm a little worried. I was seen by an APRN (Advanced Practiced Registered Nurse). She listened sincerely to what I had to say and carefully checked me out. Good news I just have a sinus infection. I told her in years past when I felt this bad I was prescribed a Z-pack. She was very knowledgeable on the subject and assured me what she was prescribing me would serve me best. I was impressed. Before I left the the room with her she had printed up a work note for me and put in the prescription to the pharmacy. Wow I'm more impressed! Having the pharmacy right next door is very convenient. Within 20 minutes I had my prescription in hand. I used those 20 minutes to shop for dinner. In short; Check is was fast. I waited 2 minutes to be seen. The nurse taking my stats was nice and efficient. The APRN was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I am so thankful for The Little Clinic inside Krogers. I would've had to suffer an extra 2 days waiting to see my regular doctor on Monday. But thanks to this clinic I'm on my path to wellness starting today! I highly recommend this clinic .

I have this illness frequently and was quickly dismissed that these symptoms were not what was wrong. The medication that was prescribed isn't normally prescribed for what I have and what I'm feeling. I hope in the future that the clinicians do a better job at actually listening to the patients and their negative test that they received during their visits.

She directed me to the patient registration desks where I was greeted by another friendly employee. After she checked me in, I was directed to the waiting area of the lobby to wait for the person to do my blood work. After a very short, wait, I was taken back to have the blood work done. Yet again, the person doing the blood work was friendly and engaging, It made me very comfortable. He explained his process of finding the best location to take my blood and it was done quickly and painlessly. I've been to this hospital multiple times for myself and with other people and I've seen nothing but the highest quality facility and staff. There is nothing I could suggest that they could improve upon.

The phlebotomists were sweet and an easy stick, but they were asking me what to do with the test. ? I don't know my doctor said hand you the box. A week and a half later I don't have my results so we call. They canceled the test. These professionals didn't know what to do with my test, and instead of calling my doctor or utilizing the resources listed inside the box such as a phone number and provided labels, they instead took my blood samples, threw them in the trash, canceled the test and continued with their day. This is the health of my child and my own health as well and they couldn't care less. If you can avoid it I would not go to this lab. It's okay to not know something - it's not okay to dispose of a sample test that costs $400 and not even notify me while I'm waiting for my results. The one star is for the woman working the front desk. She was very sweet. And really everyone was nice. But throwing my test away like trash is unforgivable.
