My house is 1243 Sq. Ft. They measured it to be over 1380 sq ft and ordered flooring for that area. Then refused to take back the excess or to refund the money for the extra cost, which was a lot. They said there installer was on vacation for 2 months after I purchased the flooring so instead of waiting I hired a different installer. Because I did that is the reason they said they would not refund my money. On top of that, they ordered too much for my backsplash. Again, they would not return my money or take back the extra product which was very expensive. However, they didn't return the excess back to either so I could sell it myself, after I took it to their warehouse. Do NOT use these people. They will rip you off and smile while they do it. read more

I would be doing people a disservice by not leaving a review. Do not go here. The carpet installation on the stairs is terrible and needs to be redone. The installers also managed to melt two feet of carpet in another room and hid it and never told me anything. Once I discovered it, it was a huge pain to get them to remedy. Their customer service was nonexistent. I asked the installers not to take the existing carpet and they stole it!! I have never had such a bad experience with a local company. read more

Jeanie was excellent and scheduled us almost immediately, gave us a fair price for 3 bedrooms, and told us the approximate time the technician could come out. She was friendly and professional. Chris was polite and professional, and the carpets were cleaned so immaculately, it's as if they were brand new! It was necessary to have a truck-mounted carpet cleaning service in order to align with the terms in our lease agreement, so Good Shepherd was just what we needed. We were very impressed with the customer service we received from Jason. Kenny called the day before the scheduled installation of our carpet. When my husband asked about what time they would be here, Kenny said, "Between 9 and 9:15 tomorrow morning." He and Tanner arrived at our house promptly at 9 a.m. They moved our entertainment center and sofa without any problem. My husband explained to Kenny what was going to be replaced. He took the measurements to be sure there was enough carpet. Once the living room was emptied, the old carpet and padding were removed and the new padding and carpet installed. Kenny and Tanner were very professional and made sure the seam did not show. We will definitely use Good Shepherd again when we are ready to replace more carpet. read more

Please what ever you do run from these people. Most bizarre experience buying cabinets. Crooks, lack of integrity, unskilled, no responsibility for THIER mistakes, anger issues and lying. Jim came across as knowledgeable and trust worthy. He came to the house, measured for cabinets and then proceeded to order the incorrect size. Guess who Jim and Ed the owner blamed for their mistake?? Me! Both Jim and Ed struggled with basic math. My main island is 102" long. Jim ordered cabinets for 108". My dry bar cabinets were supposed to be 21" deep. Jim ordered 24" deep. Dealing with Jim was painful but Ed was even worse. Jim came to the house on one occasion and became VERY verbally aggressive in front of myself and 2 other women. This aggression was about a sink!! He thought I needed a bigger sink. We said we like the one we have. When I discussed this with Ed he told me that Jim is just a loud person. Seriously?!? Never let these 2 men in your home without another man in the room. Just never let them in your home Ed agreed to reimburse us for the main island cabinets, however we've never seen a dime of that money. Ed refused to take back the dry bar cabinets. At the end of the day we are out around 29,000. We've taken out all of the cabinets some were donated to a family in need and the rest are being used in our friends garage. Oh did I forget to mention that the cabinets are cheap and not worth the money we spent. The installer was completely unskilled. This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. Their commercials are as cringy as they are. Do not be fooled by how long they've been in business or the name. read more

I had my center's floors done back in February 2022. I have waited this long to post a review hoping that they would fix issues. They worked with me on installing during a holiday weekend (presidents day). The installers and salesman were polite and patient. The issue was the materials used. The product (mohawk) shown was a small 6x9 inch sample. There is a fingerprint actually printed on 1 piece it's repeated every 5th piece. Could not send it back because we had already prepped 3,000 sq feet and closed our school to install. Another issue was the vinyl trim and Good Shepherd refusing to fix it. I was told by the salesman that most commercial buildings have vinyl trim and it will work great. Within the first month the kids found the weak spots and pulled it off in two small areas easily. They fixed it in the toddler room but didn't bother to see if any other rooms might need touched up. We were told we would be charged to fix any other area. It was literally slapped on. A few areas covered damaged drywall from them pulling the old off (no glue there) cracks/splits around corners and areas that didn't even connect to the end of the space. I pointed this out to the owner and he shrugged about the drywall and said that's not their job to fix drywall. They slapped the trim over it anyways leaving it gapped. I complained about the trim coming away from wall and the owner said he would have never recommended the glue on and we would be charged to fix it. (blamed the kids) Areas that needed caulking were done so poorly. We asked for the section in front of the sinks to be redone. The owner agreed the sink area needed to be redone. He gave us simple tricks to fix the issues with cracking or pulling away from walls at the corners. Promised to have someone come in late August (30 days to fix). It's now December and we never heard from them again. I ended up using someone else for my home. read more

Terrible customer service. Do not shop here, save yourself time and headache. I ordered 2400sq ft of LVP, upon instillation of the first 200sq ft I had major concerns with the product and felt it was faulty. Ed and Jason came out and said it was my instillation error and that the product was good. I again attempted to install but the product was not laying as it should. After a few exchanges about the flooring and me asking to return the faulty product under warranty, Ed was very rude. He belittled me and even said he had to stop a conversation at one point because he had become angry. Extremely unprofessional. He accused me of changing my mind and that the reason I wanted to return the flooring was just because I wanted to go to Home Depot or Abby. He insisted the product was good, I was incapable of installing it, and the manufacturer would not warrantee it. After being completely disrespected and getting nowhere, I installed the flooring in my home. For my family financially, it was better to install the flooring rather than of throwing away $10,000. Months later the flooring was coming apart. I decided go above Ed to the dealer and the manufacturer Tri-West. They sent a representative to my house and agreed it was a faulty product. They asked why I hadn't brought up my concerns when I installed the product. In the end they sent me 2400sq ft of new product. It went in seamlessly with no problems. It's beautiful and we love it. I dropped off one blind two weeks ago to their Glenwood store and told them i wanted 2 more just like it. I knew it was a small order and just wanted them to make 2 more. In spite of that, the sales person said he would email me a price later that afternoon. After waiting 2 weeks, I never heard from them. I called this morning and asked when it would be ready. The sales person's response was an angry tirade ending in him telling me that he was too busy and to just come get my blind and take it somewhere else. I am shocked at his attitude. just because he has a lot of work and doesn't want to waste his time with my job, he could have just said so without the angry, disrespectful tirade. He always took the time to email or call to follow-up in a timely manner. His artistic knowledge and guidance was very helpful in completing the installation of our new quartz countertops. During the installation, there was a little snag on supplies being available and I called him for assistance. Sooo dissatisfied! Communication was poor at best. Sales couldn't remember information and several times stated that they were sorry but they were too busy. I didn't feel comfortable with installation. Tried very hard to develop relationship as I have several rentals and several home projects I'm working on.
