A great local company. Aaron really helped us out! We got 2 3/4" of rain in 20 minutes... crazy for GJ huh? My basement started to get some water. This was during the evening, Aaron was able to come out very quickly and set up equipment to dry everything and cleaned up a lot of water while he was out. It was easy and super quick (for me at least). I am so glad I didn't give a giant company my credit card number before they would even tell me if someone was available. DON'T USE THEM!!!! My tenant, who is 82, had a toilet overflow. Another company had come & fixed the toilet but they did not do extraction of water. Rapid Response was there 2 hours to remove water and set up (and less when they picked up). The first time they were there, the tech told her she owed $500 and she gave them a check. When he handed her the receipt it just said "Received $500 for extraction and dry down. $500 deposit" HUH? nothing itemized! no explanation of what the 'deposit' entailed! When I called the next day, he said that was for what they 'planned' to do....without even asking if I wanted it done! Nor her. At the time, they told her the kitchen island HAD to be taken out plus 4" of the drywall cut out at the floor line. And that "they did that work". THEY DID NOT EVEN ASK" He just saw a panicked old woman and TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER. I called another company and they would have charged $100 to extract the water. Unfortunately, she couldn't get ahold me that night. In the end, they wanted ADDITIONAL $277.76 This was the bill. $84.32 - for Service call (he said that was the time to call technicians coordinate) $243.20 - To set up equipment, take down, and monitoring....which he sent me a photo of their meter saying humidity was hi. No kidding!!! At that time!!! Didn't even wait for it to dry out. $242.60 - 5 air movers for 2 days. Quantity 10, @ $24.46 EACH!!! $142 - 1 dehumidifier/2 days @ $71 ea. $65 - Water extraction for 115 sq ft. read more

Cleaning of miniblinds. Cleaning was good. Restringing was not. I had provided a list of slats that needed to be moved either to the top or bottom. Only the most obviously damaged ones were moved. Strings are unbalanced and tight on one side. We hope this will work out in time. Estimte on the phone in February when I made the appointment was not honored. Charged $10 more per blind, total $80 more for the job. m Did not charge for the one blind they could not get clean. This was a good point. I would not recommend them for mini blind cleaning. I like work that is done right the first time, this was not. read more

I had water damage from a burst water line in my home, it involved taking up the carpeting, the flooring, right down to the joists (you can see through to the crawl space). had to cut away the bottom 3 feet of the drywall as it also had wicked the water up. They came over within hours of my call, set up fans to begin the drying process (important to do to keep mold and wood rot from forming). Then we could take our time and manage what was happening, such as create estimates for the next steps.. There were days they were over busy but i was always called and told of status and if they were needed at a n emergency elsewhere they made sure the drying process continued. Only one hitch, for some reason they ignored an existing entrance to to the crawlspace and made their own by taking out concrete block from the stem wall, and did not replace that block when done. (to be fair the confusion could have been that their job is only the drying out and clean up/demolition, and repairs/rebuilding is a separate project) All in all i would recommend them again Their much larger franchise competitor took time returning calls and once they showed up, they insisted on getting me an estimate first, and then never got back to me all the while the house is wringing wet. I hadn't had my carpets cleaned in years, and was highly impressed with Rapid Response. They were able to get out stains that had remained in my carpet after the last cleaning seven years ago. I also had them clean my couch which came out looking brand new. Too bad ash settled over the valley a couple of days later from the Pine Gulch fire, but I just vacuum frequently and admire my beautifully clean carpets. Rapid Response is outstanding!!!! Read below for our problem and how RR completely took care of it. As Melanie writes they are friendly and do an OUTSTANDING JOB!! Kudos, Kudos, Kudos ESPECIALLY FOR JASON he is the stain removal expert in the entire Grand Valley. Don't call any other firm in town!! Had dog urine stains on several carpet areas. We sold our home with the inspector requesting the carpet be cleaned due to the noticeable urine stains. Initially John from Rapid Response came to clean the carpets and he pre-treated the urine stains. Initially the heaviest stained carpet looked fine. However, after it thoroughly dried the stains were still visible. I waited about a week to give it a chance to dry in order it be fair. Unfortunately, the stains never diminished at all. I called back and asked for them to return to only work on the stains. I was concerned he was unable to remove the stains but wanted to have them try to just work on them. I had contacted Mark at Carpet time (they installed the carpet originally two years ago) to see what he recommended. At his suggestion I requested Jason from RR only try to remove the stains. Jason arrived at the requested time and worked -1-1/2 hours. We waited 48 hours for the carpet to be thoroughly dried and were PLEASANTLY surprised that he was successful in removing 98% of the stains. THE CARPET LOOKS WONDERFUL!
