That part didn't go as well as it should have, the weather turned up the heat, and for as much as I watered: still the plants were charred by the string of super sunny, hot days. Left with no choice other than to make another purchase-this time I was smart enough to ask Auburn Oaks to add delivery and install of the plants to my bill. WHAT a FABULOUS choice!! Well again a no-show and no communications I finally sent them a text to tell them what a joke of a company and that they have no customer service skills on Monday night. Now they urgently sent a reply saying they apologize for the inconvenience and thats not how they run their company. Buyer beware, no shows..a big red flag, poor communications and just a lack of urgency when this is what they do for a living. As far as I'm concerned I dodged a bullet and you should too! P.S. Drake's is probably the one closest to our home and I like to use more local businesses as long as the quality is good and the pricing is competitive. Depending on the type of mulch you are looking for with respect to color, the desired smell, the type of wood used to produce the mulch, and the cost including delivery unless you have your own truck or only need a small amount. Every landscaping company we have visited so far the prices have been fairly close and the variance in delivery charges are also similar. So then it comes down to reputation, cost, and proximity if you are looking for someone local

As far as service, they are very knowledgable, never pushy and they do a fantastic job of planting. Great people! I always try Drakes first even though it's a bit of a drive for me.

This business is much larger than what it appears from roadside view as it has a large footprint that extends outward from the road. During our first visit here we ending up purchasing a large assortment of floral arrangements for a family members funeral which we were very pleased with the end product which they delivered and help arrange upon arrival and not departing the church until we were fully happy with the presentation. The staff were so helpful and provided excellent suggestions as we gave them a broad outline of what we were looking for and helped us tune it into the final presentation. These flowers were a wonderful send off for our loved one and recieved numerous complements from the people who attended the mass. Aside from the flowers, I also purchased some specialty fertilizer while there, Jacks Petunia fertilizer, which is a specialty item not sold in most stores. The cost was $14 and was less than what I had paid for my Amazon lowest cost option I had bought previously for the same product. Nice!
