I'm not that used to getting headshots taken (beyond the awkward passport + DMV photos) and was a little nervous at first. However, Jenny made me feel at home the second I walked into her studio. She really cared about my business, and helped me decide on poses and a wardrobe beforehand to reflect my goals (I am partially color blind so her help with picking the right clothes was essential!) She made me smile and cackle throughout the session. I felt so comfortable that I forgot there was even a camera in front of me. On top of that, her pricing is very reasonable and within my budget. She was very communicative throughout the booking/processing process and provided regular updates on the status of my pictures via email. We paid her for a session over five months ago, and she completely ghosted us after the shoot. No photos, no updates, and no responses -- just silence. Meanwhile, she's still active online, posting about new clients and advertising her services, which makes it even worse. At this point, it feels like she took our money and ran. After years of being repeat customers, this is beyond disappointing -- it's dishonest. Please think twice before booking with her. There are plenty of other photographers who actually deliver what you pay for.

(they also worked really well with the many other vendors we used the day of) i had a bunch of creative ideas on my own for photos and/or video that i wanted to accomplish, and she was incredibly open to all and had some great additional ideas. our wedding included a first look at an old fire station, ivy walls, shots downtown on the bridge, a (warm) rooftop ceremony, and then food trucks for dinner + a glass blowing demo for our guests. they managed to capture so much of our day in photos/video/or both.our photos are vibrant and colorful and candid, just as we wanted. and we'll be watching our highlight reel over and over with friends & family, while our full feature footage will be reflected on at least every year to relive the whole day. hire vivid photo + video - we feel like we got incredibly lucky finding them for our wedding!

Paola was kind & flexible from the start, meeting us at a coffee shop in our neighborhood for an initial consultation. Upon meeting, we instantly felt at ease. She took time to learn about us as a couple and to our delight, worked with us to customize a package of photographers and videographers to fit our needs and budget. After seeing Paola's work, we were thrilled to learn that she would be our primary photographer for our wedding. We found this to be a fabulous perk of working with a smaller boutique studio. Paola and her team did an excellent job on the day of our wedding. They were all friendly and made our wedding party feel very comfortable. They did an amazing job capturing the important moments without being noticeable or "in the way." Paola has a way about her that could put the most anxious bride at ease! She was always one step ahead with her quick thinking, suggesting creative and fun poses, as well as beautiful locations for our "first look" and group shots before the wedding. Several members of our wedding party, friends, and family mentioned how much they liked Paola and the energy that she brought to our event. We were also impressed to see her positive & creative energy last all day and night! Last but certainly not least, Paola and her team take beautiful photos and create lovely videos. They do an excellent job of using light and focus to highlight important details within different shots. They also pieced together our highlight video in a meaningful way that told a story about our relationship and brought together different elements of our special day. It was evident that Paola understood who we were as a couple and captured our day perfectly. As we watched our highlight video it almost felt as if she had read my mind! What's included in the package is made unclear, so I never got what I expected. In addition, during the shoot he said that he could take my arm out if I had it on my kiddo and when I reminded him of this later, he said that was considered a complex edit and would cost money but they'd do it complmenetary that time. Had he told me this at the time of the shoot, we would have done something differently to get photos without me there in the background. Not cool.

Miguel came to my parents' house and took photos in their backyard. He got pictures of my parents together, with each of us kids, with our own families, and with all the grandkids too. Miguel was super professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He made everyone feel comfortable and was really flexible with what we wanted. We're sorry this is so delayed, Victoria, but I wanted to make sure that you and the world knew how happy we were with our photos. Victoria and her team were fantastic! She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and they turned out amazing. Honestly, exceeded my expectations, given the typical, plain photos I'm used to seeing from weddings. She gave us a mix of portraits, moments and detail shots, all of which were fantastic. Originally, we didn't want to see each other before the ceremony and we were going to try to shove all our photos into an hour after the reception, all the while missing our cocktail hour. Boy am I glad Victoria recommended first look photos... I don't know if I would have survived the day otherwise! It took a few months for me to come around to the idea, but I'm so happy we did. I was so stressed about the day-of schedule the weeks leading up to our big day.
